I like gyros and looked forward to trying one of the Greek Wraps. After the first visit, I felt the meat was good but had some strange flavor. I returned a second time and validated my palate. I don't know exactly what it is, but it overpowers the meat taste. The size of the gyro was good. I was disappointed with the prices for side orders. On both occasions, they were very busy. This place is amazing. You go in to the amazing smell of Mediterranean food and it makes it hard to decide what to buy. Inhave had the gyro and the chicken souvlaki, both were amazing. I REALLY enjoy the 10in wrap as it is a home made, nanish type bread, the nice lady in the front told me it is all made in house daily and it tastes like it. chicken shawarma has zero flavor so bland they don't put any salt at all. I called to see if they had new owner and indeed they did as of last year. The lady that answered the phone said they cook it on a stick vs cooktop and they now use 20 spices on the meat, I could care less if its 100 spices still tastes like shit. This used to be a great place. As of my last two orders not so much. This time I got the kabob plate and paid extra for pita and sauces. Got no pita at all and no extra sauces. What a find! Looking for something quick, good, and healthy? I got the gyro salad and it was fantastic. The service was very fast and since it's a place that you walk up and order and then go sit or take it to go, I wasn't entirely sure how the quality would be. It was some of the best Gyro meat I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the edges, but tender and tasty everywhere else. Falafel, yes! Prior to Greek Wraps, whenever I craved falafel or gyros, I had to go to different restaurants in West Valley to satisfy my glut. Greek Wraps offer a version of both with comparable quality. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They had lovely bursts of flavors from their spices. The hummus was good. I must say I truly enjoyed this place. I went for the Gyros combo with the homemade wrap. Bread was light and fluffy at the same time. The meat was very flavorful and made for a great wrap. The Greek side salad was good, could've used a Kalamata olive or two, along with some peppers. Lastly how can you go wrong with Scoprions playing also in the background. I really don't understand all the 5 star reviews here. I've gotten food here twice and was not impressed by it. I got a chicken shawarma pita with fries, and a side of falafel (definitely overpriced for the quantity of falafel, and they were way over-seasoned). The fries were good but the chicken in the shawarma pita was overcooked and had so much vinegar/lemon juice on it that it was almost inedible. I've tried a many different iterations of chicken shawarma around town and while none have been amazing, this was by far the worst. Eat at your own risk to avoid feeling like you blew your money on sub-par food. read more

We have been going to Greek Wraps for easily 10 plus years. Not sure what's happened the last few months but the food quality has really gone down hill and so has the customer service. Wonder if they changed hands?? Something has for sure changed! It's just not at all what it used to be. I've been coming here for the last couple of years, and I'll keep it short and sweet: the food has stayed fantastic thoughout the years, consistent every time. Their Shawarmas and Kebabs are absolutely the go-tos, but their gyros are fantastic as well. Rice is always nice and fluffy, and their salads are so refreshing and flavorful. The only issue i have is with their time to cook... Multiple times I've waited and waited for my food while others came before me and got their large orders before I got mine waiting 25-30 minutes each time. I understand the idea that "others can get their foods faster and therefore not clog up the line", but that doesn't mean you let multiple people go past and get there's and force me to wait with my food on the counter. We always enjoy coming here and the food is always good but last time our wrap was a little on the dry side and we were sure you could always see the white tzatziki sauce in there but not this time. When I asked for more he said there never was tzatziki on it but a garlic sauce and he charged me .75 for the tzatziki. I thought it should've been free since we said it was dry and needed something and after spending what we did already for both wraps we felt it was pretty low end to charge for a little thing of tzatziki. I'm pretty sure this place was sold about a year ago because there were a few slight changes to the menu, lots of new faces but overall the food quality has gone to crap. This is the 4 th time I've been here in the last year and they've sucked every time Have gotten the hummas ,beef kabob, chicken kabob , Greek chicken salad , today it was a gyro salad. Meat was hard and there was a hair in my food. Got a guy back there running the grill and expo with no hat. Yuck. Honestly the reviews these guys have, is definitely before the new owners took over, I mean it's been open since 2003 so a lot of time to build a customer base. Chicken now is dry, beef is overcooked. Gyro meat is hard. Hummus has no flavor. Definitely NEVER coming back here again, especially after the hair today. Quality of food and quality of service have tanked here over the years. I'm disappointed with how much the prices have raised as well in combination. I have debated writing this review as I really used to LOVE this place and was a frequent long time customer. However after my last few visits and todays visit especially, I will not be returning anytime soon. My go to order is a combo plate or the gyro plate. This costs about $17 with tax, NOT including a drink. I'm fine paying this amount for quality food but the portions have now shrunk and become inconsistent. Today I ordered the combo plate and the rice texture was a bit hard and mushy. My gyro meat was cooked to a crisp and dried out as if it had sat on the griddle for too long, it's possible it was prepped in advance to have caused this taste versus being freshly shaved off for service. The hummus that is included with the plate was also mediocre at best, it was too thick like a paste consistency and tasted watered down and bland vs whipped and flavorful like it usually is when I have ordered in the past. The tzatziki sauce included was then spilling at the sides... Presentation of the food could also use improvement, my hummus was sloppily placed in the plate and the meat portion was inconsistent between the two plates I ordered. Pretty frustrating at $17 a plate. For dine in customers, consider going back to plates. I understand styrofoam take out boxes are easier but for the price increases and the competition who is serving their food on real plates, this is something you could consider. Secondly, I hate restaurants that charge for sauce, as a fellow business owner, build this into your cost of food. Unless someone is asking for an extreme amount of sauce (more than 2) I could understand. I asked for one extra sauce with my meal today and it was an additional 75 cents, in the past it was 50 cents and years ago it was complimentary. I understand inflation, but at $17 a plate, one sauce would bring more value to the plate and to your customers. Lastly, quality of service needs some help. I understand they are short staffed and are actively hiring for counter service. But, we were some of the only customers in our visit today and the workers just have a blank face and no smile and straight to the point. When I went up to the counter to ask for additional sauce for my meal, they were texting on there phone and didn't bother to look up. Come on....do better for your customers. I'm writing this review hoping the owners will notice and take action to improve the quality of food and service now being provided at the restaurant. Get back to how great your restaurant used to be. Their is too much competition now that in my opinion is much better than what is being provided at this establishment. read more
