First time having Greek's and the pizza was pretty good! We ordered a medium Roma and a medium 5 cheese with pepperoni. However, once we got home, we noticed they didn't put pepperoni on the 5 cheese like we asked. We also ordered some breadsticks and cinnamon sticks. The breadsticks came with cheese. Nothing really to rave about, they tasted like a standard breadstick. The cinnamon sticks weren't what I expected. They were regular breadsticks but had cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top with a packet of icing to drizzle on top. I wasn't that impressed with them, especially since we added more of our own cinnamon and sugar because it did lack some taste. I love their pizza! I've been eating Greeks pizza for several years now! This place is awesome! If you want some cheap, but deliciously ridiculous filling pizza- this is the place. I used to use online ordering system as there was always a $3.00 off coupon, but post the pandemic, this is no longer an option. I didn't particularly like the online ordering! It's a bit time consuming to input my half and half pizza order and I could never find the option for red pepper flake and Parmesan cheese! Service sucks, employees don't care, management absent....kids run in the house on 71st street. I waited over an hour after the published time, upon inquiry employee at window says "oven is slow today" Realizing only one pie has came out of this place the entire hour I was there....20 some cars continuing to circle for no information. Management needs to "grow a pair" ....close your business to customer orders, refund client payments, fix the problem, try another day. This went from being one of my favorite places to slowly becomes just another pizza place due to their customer service. I should've done the review the day this happened but I was offered a fix for them messing up the pizza. Today I called to get that makeup pizza, and was told they had no record of it. This location has been a disappointment. All Greeks Pizza locations are independently owned so this review is not a knock on all Greeks Pizzerias. I've tried to support the 71st street location since it is the closest pizzeria to my house but unfortunately I won't be returning because of multiple lackluster experiences. The pizza was delivered within the timeframe they estimated which was a good start but it was downhill from there. The pizza arrived and they forgot to bring the Greek Salad we had ordered. The delivery man said he would be right back with the salad. The pizza and breadsticks were lukewarm and we had to heat them up. We waited and the salad hadn't returned after thirty minutes so I called the store. They couldn't find my order even though I provided the order number and all other necessary information. I was then informed they would have to wait until the driver came back and then they would figure it out. I was told I would get a call back on how they would fix the problem. The delivery man showed up 40 minutes later with our salad. The salad was missing the tomatoes and the pepperoncinis. The lettuce was of very poor quality. Being independently owned the only way to contact the 71st Greeks is by phone or postal mail. I called the next day and spoke to the manager. He apologized and then went through a litany of excuses. He did provide a $15 store credit; however I don't plan on returning. This location of Greek's is a tiny little storefront on the parking lot of a larger strip mall with plenty of parking. While carryout appears to be the way most patrons go, there's a clean, cozy seating area with a few tables, and even a high chair, for your dine-in pleasure. And whether you dine in or take out, they're not stingy on the plates, napkins, and plasticware. Let's talk pizza....Fresh and delicious, but not fussy. Sauce is on the sweeter side and complimented well by their salty cheese blend. Sweeter toppings go really great with the sauce...I recommend their fresh spinach, and have a hard time ordering anything else because it's soo good. And their crust is awesome. Breadsticks are always perfectly cooked and generously covered in delicious butter and spices. And they've got the good nacho cheese for dipping....you know what I'm talking about. Ordered a 12 inch Greek special picked it up it looked like it had been fully cooked because the pepperoni was nice and crispy took the first bite and it was undercooked had to put it in the oven at 400° for another eight minutes to get it fully cooked then it was very good still had to pay the full price for an under cooked pizza! I think they need to help train their people running their ovens a little bit better and I let them try the pizza from time to time when they looked and they're really not done they're just crispy pepperoni pieces on top. read more

Pizza was mostly crust so they remade it however this time the cheese wasn't even melted and looked as if the toppings were thrown on top. I occasionally go to this location and it's normally good. That said, I'm perfectly pleased with the carry-out and delivery from Greeks. We live in some strange Bermuda-Triangle of Indy that leaves us with only chain places that deliver...EXCEPT GREEKS! We're not Big-Chain pizza lovers, and Greeks (while technically a small chain) has really good classic style pizza. It isn't one of the places that's gonna have a ton of eclectic choices of pies (they do have a few though), just good.solid.pizza. Breadsticks are also pretty tasty too! My feelings about Greeks Pizza are love and hate. My husband and I absolutely love their pizza. When we go into the store and pick up our order, everything is A-OK! However, it's usually 50-50 on whether or not our delivery order is going to be correct. Multiple times now we have had to call to have our pizza replaced. However, our love for the taste of the pizza, salads, and breadsticks keeps us coming back. We ordered a Meat Lovers pizza and the Organic Spinach and Bacon salad with no onions through DoorDash. We got a very poorly made Meat Lovers pizza with less meat than normal and a salad with NO BACON and with onions and no dressing that looked like someone forgot to add the whole amount. We normally go to the SOBRO location and have NEVER had a problem, but we KNOW doggone good and well how our pizza and salad are supposed to look! They don't even take pride in their pizza by signing their name in the little box on the top of the pizza box. SOBRO sure does! We had to drive back to the store to get a corrected salad that we STILL didn't eat because there was a young teenager snickering about the situation in the background while we were in the drive thru, and although Jack was nice about exchanging the salad, we didn't trust that our food had not been tampered with because of the snickering going on. We will stick to our SOBRO location and suggest the 71st Street location hire mature workers instead of the teenagers employed there.
