WE had our heating unit installed about 2 years ago & have not used it since...tried to turn on the heat last night & would blow the warm air for only about a minute then we just had the cold air blower after. Have a goodman HVAC unit under warranty for a faulty circuit board. Have received quotes from other HVAC folks who aren't under contract to honor goodman warranties, all around 750 bucks. Green Air however IS under that contract and can get reimbursed for the parts. Hooray for me! Savings! WRONG. They said the circuit board would be covered, but "labor" would be.... You guessed it, 750 bucks. They just looked at the market rate, realized I couldn't do better with those under contract, and looked to pocket the difference. Shameful stuff. Instead of diagnosing a simple problem, they pushed an expensive replacement. My A/C started dripping condensation on the furnace, so I called Green Air Solutions to diagnose/repair since I didn't even know how to open the panel to look for the source. They cleared out the drain line but said it looked like the drain pan was rusted and could not be replaced/repaired, so they quoted me $1,975 for a new coil with a new pan. I said let's see if clearing the line fixed it before spending all that money. After a few days, the drip returned. Curious, I opened up the panel and poured 2 cups of water into the pan next to the drain, and it all drained no problem. So the line is clear, but the tray was dripping. I looked in the back of the pan and noticed a bunch of crusty gunk sitting in the pan, so I collected it with a rag. Worth a shot and the 3 minutes it took me, since the gunk could be preventing condensation from flowing to the drain. That was before the historic August 2020 heat wave. The A/C has been running just fine 10 hours a day for the last 2 weeks through the heat wave, not a single drip. If it starts dripping again, I'll update my rating, but I really had expected the professionals to identify a simple problem like that and fix it instead of selling a replacement on the whole coil. Feels like if an auto mechanic said, "your oil is looking pretty dirty, you're going to need a new engine." read more

I contacted this company and they responded promptly, came out to check the AC quick and gave me a reasonable estimate. The problem is that their follow through is horrible. Luis made an appointment for repairs and canceled last minute. Then he rescheduled and tried to cancel the day of ! He then texted me that he was on his way and kept sending me excuses (flat tire etc) until he accidentally called me. He thought I was someone else and then I caught him in a lie. I recently worked with Green Air Solutions to completely clean out and insulate my attic and install a new HVAC unit. Martin responded to my Yelp quote request promptly and spent ample time explaining the process and answering any questions I had. I got quotes from 5 different companies for this job, and Green Air Solutions had the fairest price by far! All of the Green Air employees I encountered were courteous and professional. Martin even came by personally to answer questions I had mid-job. There were a few pieces of paint that were ripped from the ceiling, and Kent came by the day after the job was finished and did an amazing job making the ceiling look brand new! He even did some quick electrical work as a side favor - cutting wires from old devices attached to the wall and patching painting the ceiling. I am definitely a demanding customer and I own an old home so Green Air had an uphill battle. We hired Martin and his team based on his plan to make my house more efficient and comfortable. Martin replaced my 17 year old condenser and furnace and replaced duct work to improve airflow in my converted attic. It is now a livable space and we are happy with the installation of the dual zone system. It is always uncomfortable to let a crew of strangers into your house but the team took care of my house. Martin is now on my speed dial and I can count on him to pick up the phone at any hour. UPDATE: I had an issue with my condensation line/cup with the new furnace that was recently installed. The heat was turning on and then flooding and turning itself off. That being said it was right before thanksgiving and Martin went above and beyond to make sure we had heat for the cold morning when my in-laws were in town. He had the part Uber'd to my house from over an hour away and technicians at my house late Wednesday afternoon before thanksgiving to make sure things were handled. Finally getting around to reviewing Green Air Solutions! First, I was having issues with my AC unit as well as the Furnace/Heater. This had been going on for some time and finally this winter it got to the point that I knew something was seriously wrong. I had another company come out in September and shockingly, they did not know what they were doing. Mike came out and immediately spotted most of the problems that I suspected (bad wiring, thermostat issues, burnt out fuses, etc). Mike was able to get the furnace working quickly and correctly with the wiring. Unfortunately, a new AC unit was recommended. Mike did not pressure me into purchasing a new unit. He explained to me the costs to simply fix the existing one versus installing a new one. I did not want to take my chances with patching up something for a short term fix, so I chose to install a new AC unit. My house is a couple stories high and required a crane to get the unit on the roof. Mike's people were able to get the job done in less than a day and all seems well. We will see how the unit works once the heat comes back during the late spring/summer, but for now I would definitely recommend Green Air Solutions to any of my friends or colleagues. Even though I had purchased their Yelp deal, Leor didn't cut any corners (unlike some other companies who may not give you the same level of service as fully paying customers) and did a thorough job. I had initially called Greenair about a year ago to replace my old furnace . Martin who is one of the owners came in and gave me a very reasonable quote . Though I didn't take him up on his offer, I was extremely pleased with their honesty and straightforward advice . A few months later , I again called them to service my Ac condenser. Once again, not only were they on time for service, but the service was done efficiently and fast . Well a year later, when I was finally ready to replace my furnace , the choice was simple as to which heating and cooling provider I had to use . Luis Bonilla was very courteous and professional. He replaced my outdated mini split A/C unit -- which served only the main living area -- with a larger, quieter, more efficient system which also powers a 2nd mini split now added to the bedroom. Luis and his team tackled the project quickly and diligently -- working extra hours and on the weekend to get the job done. Luis even got stung in the neck by a bee and continued with the install! (R.I.P. Little Bee) Luis and his team were conscientious about wearing their masks at all times -- as did I -- which was greatly appreciated. At one point there were three of us moving about in a rather small apartment and the intrusion was minimal even while I worked from home, taking meetings on zoom and fostering a rambunctious puppy. Not only did Luis install a new unit, the job required a minor retrofitting of the bedroom ceiling and roof - which was executed cleanly. Luis demonstrated a high degree of skill in HVAC, electrical, welding, retrofitting and customer service, and left no mess behind. Thank you, Luis, for all your hard work and great communication. We were spending a ton of money on our water and power bill, mostly because of an old AC unit and cheap insulation. I was also interested in solar. Since Green Air Solutions does all of that through the HERO program I gave them a call. Mike and Martin came over to give recommendations and options for what we could do. Scheduled appointment for estimate via phone. 3 days later, 30 minutes after estimate window ended, I called asking why they never showed up or if they were running late. Genius that took appointment started shuffling papers around, asking what the appointment was for. I asked if he was able to look up estimate using name, phone number or address, since it was obvious at that point, he actually never scheduled the estimate. So thanks for wasting my time. I love missing time from work to wait for an appointment that was never going to show up because you didn't take down any information. And if you truly use papers for your operations and scheduling, I feel sorry for you but would also like you to know that we have computers now!!!! During his visit he was very thorough in reviewing other items associated with the asbestos removal- rather than just fixing one issue. In all we had them remove asbestos, replace the transite pip, flue vent, fix our insulation and service the furnace and AC (which included moving the unit). I had a very old HVAC system from the 70s and while it was still working, it wasn't working at full capacity, it was energy inefficient and the air pumped was dry. I decided to upgrade and got a quote from Mike. It was a pretty big job. New AC and Heater, new ducting, increase air intake return, dampeners, etc. The job took 2 days. We had some scheduling issues (probably should dock a star) but it was all done and the system works amazing. Aside from the fact that it's a crisp 75 while it's 100 outside (running it minimally) and the air is humid. Not the terrible dry air I was suffering through. I know that new systems "condition" and not just pump dry air but I truly didn't understand what that really means. I am no longer running my 3 humidifiers. Mind blown. read more

Very frustrating experience as everything the sales person said kept changing or wasn't true. I would never recommend them. George was a great salesperson and gave us lots of good information. He took his time and told us all about the job. We were foolish enough to believe him After the first meeting, George did NOT show up when he said he would, always a different excuse...until it was time to pick up the check. He would be working on the job (I specifically asked, he said, of course, he would be here. He wasn't) His workers would be wearing protective gear, full suits. (Nope again. They were a couple of very nice guys with tee shirts on. We were told that the job would be done right and up to code. With all the switched stories and slight of hand, I just don't know.....I would never recommend them to anyone. George said they would balance the system so that the temperature was just what we wanted in each room. This presented a BIG problem when he showed up, we thought to do this and get his check. We were told after the fact that the system was balanced as much as possible and that the reason it was colder in some rooms was that those rooms were smaller! George said they would make sure we were happy and would come back to adjust the system if need be....well, he got mad at that reminder and said they were not coming back. The job would take two days (it only took one). He would send a crew of 3 or 4 (we got 2 guys) On top of this, his workers did not have a tall enough ladder. When I asked them about it, they said they asked but...shrug. The also needed to borrow our level and yardstick. I really dislike giving such a poor review but I wish I had not used this company. read more

Horrible experience! I did LOVE the woman who did the scheduling, but that is the only good thing I have to say. Was 45 minutes late, then spent all of 2 minutes looking at my heater to tell me that it couldn't be fixed, that I needed a new heater and I should withhold my rent if my landlord didn't get me one. To have my landlord call them. This all started because my pilot light went out a couple of weeks ago and the gas company said that they wouldn't light it until the heater was fixed. Well, my neighbor had the gas company out today for his heater and I had him take a look at my heater, telling him what I had been told yesterday, showing him my paperwork. He said the heater is totally fixable, told me what I needed to fix it so I could tell my landlord and had no idea why the guy from Green Air Solutions told me that I needed a new heater. He said it was an easy fix. So, $65 dollars later for a 5 minute house call, I am scammed. read more

I've had some really bad experience the past year with a different company, lots of no-shows and issues which I just couldn't deal with anymore. I got a call back from Simon at Green Air Solutions quickly who put me on the schedule within a few days with his boss Mike who serviced the call personally. He's honest and didn't charge me for anything I didn't need, and showed me how to clean the filter myself.
