I used Green Automotive Group for an insurance collision repair. The repair initially seemed okay, but communication was poor. I dropped my car off on a Friday and was told it would be ready the following Friday. That date was missed multiple times with changing explanations, and I was even told to pick it up when it wasn't actually ready. Another concern was when shop management mentioned they had not yet received full payment from the insurance company, which made me uncomfortable and gave the impression the vehicle release may have been delayed due to payment. Since this was an insurance repair and I owed nothing out of pocket, that should not affect releasing a repaired, drivable vehicle. After pickup, I noticed quality issues: the right-side rearview mirror was loose and not reinstalled tightly, and there was wax residue left on the right-side window, suggesting the final detailing and inspection were rushed. I was also initially told the warranty was verbal only, and I had to ask for a written warranty which was provided, but lacked clear coverage details. Overall, the shop could improve significantly with clearer communication, realistic timelines, better quality check before releasing and proper written documentation on warranty. I am updating my review because of the lack of professionalism from their office and management staff. After the last large rain events, I started getting warning messages about brake system failure, lane mitigation failure and took the car to the honda dealer. They discovered that I had water in my tail light due to the repairs performed by green automotive. I contacted green automotive and informed them that these warning lights were caused by an electrical short in my tail light from the repairs they made. After numerous phone calls and attempts to bring my car into to be assessed they finally agreed to replace the tail light. The owner insisted the part was defective, questioned why I waited two years to bring this issue to his attention and that he was doing me a favor by replacing the tail light as he was under no obligation to do so. I informed him that the tail light has water damage because his work was substandard, the part was not defective as he did not purchase it since it was an original honda part. The warning lights only appeared a few weeks ago. The inner and outer tail light had water, and he only replaced the outer tail light and refused to replace the inner tail light. If you are an insurance adjuster, or someone who is looking to get your car fixed do not take your car to this bodyshop. The skill level and care is not up to basic expectations. They do not fix problems they mask them. They do not treat your car as if it was their own. I am extremely disappointed in how I was treated and I will be filing a complaint with the bureau of automotive repair. read more

My husband took his work truck to greens as direct led by a local car wash where his truck was damaged on July 29th. They said it would one week to get fixed. No one contacted him for at least 3 weeks. He called and the gentleman who took all his information quit. So, we had to start all over again and then was promised a week to get fixed because of the delay. We kept calling and it was never ready. After ANOTHER MONTH WENT BY, I was told to I could pick up truck but I was told lumber rack was on order! NOW ANOTHER 3 WEEKS NO PHONE CALL, we called and they said it was there. I had an accident and found Green Automotive after taking the car to Seidner in Montebello and were quoting over $7k for repairs. AAA (my insurance) wanted to consider this car a loss but I decided to push back on their only two options to take $$$ instead. Found Green Automotive on Yelp and Hector was able to take the car in and review the costs and all and guess what? Repairs came down to about $4,500. Immediate talked to AAA and they even had their adjuster come out to look at the car and we were able to agree that Seidner's estimate was excessive. Green Automotive had the car ready within 10-12 business days from day of approval to proceed with the repairs. My 23 year old daughter was rear ended by a truck recently. She called me crying when it happened and I immediately went to the scene which was not far from our home. The man that hit her was apologetic and provided his insurance. The damages to her vehicle were extensive, she was hit by a work truck. Insurance is pricey but when we need it, it is worth it! The attorney sent a tow truck to pick up her vehicle because it was in bad shape and she couldn't drive it to the shop. That's where Green Automotive came into the picture! We had no idea which auto repair would handle the car but they did call her a few days later and told her they had started the repair and will call us with updates. They were professional from beginning to end and called and told her the estimate was going to be higher than what they initially thought because the trunk was no good and they needed to replace the whole thing which was understandable. Finally the car was ready and they called us to go get it. I must say, the repair work was fabulous! It looks brand new again and it appears they even polished the car because it was glowing! Like really sparkling beautiful!! They truly went above and beyond both in person and over the phone. I don't know the gentleman's name but he was tall and Hispanic. He truly was amazing to work with! You can tell they love their job and treat their customers well. Service was amazing and the work was well done. Got recommended this place and they are super sketchy. I signed a waiver that they're not responsible for losses of anything I had in my car. But they stole an echo speaker I had in my car. They also did a bad job putting everything together. I got my car back with a dead battery and my key Fob was also dead. I honestly got it worse than i gave it in. The bumper isn't the same color as the rest of my car. And I'm pretty sure they quoted my insurance way more than what they did cause it's so bad! Don't go here if you can avoid it. Hector and the team at Green Auto were EXTREMELY disappointing! Although my brand-new Kia only had a rear bumper issue, it took well over 3 months to get my car back. A job like this should have taken maximum one month, however, it appears that Hector came up with every excuse it the book to stall and withhold release of my car. The overall project management was non-existent and at one point, my car was assessed a parking ticket for being illegally parked. The ticket was not paid or reimbursed until I was informed by the city of the violation in MY NAME. And it appears that in those 3+ months in Hector's hands, my car was driven over 1,000 miles and upon return to my hands, smelled like a men's locker room. We'll let you draw the conclusion on this. The kicker is that Hector told me for the last month that he would take care of payment of the rent-a-car from his alleged friend...When all was said and done, his alleged friend came after me , even threatening me with small claims court to pay what Hector had promised to pay. If you are up for raising your blood pressure and stress levels, I HIGHLY recommend Hector and his team. You have been forewarned! read more

Do not take your car here! When I got my car back there was some orange peel and very noticeable bumps from the paint. I didn't want to go back because it probably would've taken another 2 weeks or so to repaint/buff. I don't have the money for a rental and wouldn't be able to afford Uber everyday to and from work. So I just decided to accept it as is. That was the first disappointment. Recently, I noticed the windshield liquid wasn't coming out. I filled up the washer tank and the next day it was empty. I took it to the shop and they said it was the windshield washer pump. IT WAS WORKING PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE I took my car there. Now it's not! The guy tried to bullshit me by saying something like "just like everything else things need replacing or get old" or something along those lines, basically stating they weren't responsible for it. Judging by the other reviews that I've read about how horrible the service is and how this place is a scam. I should've known better. read more
