    Mocha and turkey cheese croissant
    Ed D.

Service is fast which is good because there was a long line. I got their mocha which is pretty sweet and you can taste the good amount of milk foam which I like. I also got their turkey egg croissant which was already made and heated so I got my food very fast which was a much needed surprise since I needed to catch my flight home. The sandwich itself was pretty big so it does fill you up for the morning. Prices were higher but it's expected at the airport

Cuban panini sandwich. Turkey, ham, cheese, aoili, sliced pickle on a roll. Pressed and warm Prepackaged, from a deli.

This is for the location at the international terminal. Judging from the photos here, and the map, there are two locations. The place is fairly small and more geared to people on the go as opposed to stay around and munch/sip. It was afternoon and a light crowd. I got a Cuban sandwich panini with a 16oz latte. The sandwich, warmed, was just OK. One of those prepacked deals that left something to be desired but did take away the pang for something to eat. I asked for mustard which came in packets but it was old and stale, like a brick when it came out. The coffee however was very good. I was surprised by the quality. The woman serving at the counter was friendly and took her time preparing the drink, and did a good job. Overall the experience was just OK and expensive. But, what one would expect at an airport with limited options, even at SFO.

I keep coming back here when I need quick and reliable airport food. It's dependable. Service is quick and friendly enough. I enjoy their lattes and breakfast sandwiches. It's grab-and-go and still it's cheesy and warm and comforting.

    Breakfast sandwich + smoothie

As everyone knows, it is not cheap to eat in the airport, so we'll just get that out of the way first. I got to the airport early for my flight so I walked the restaurants of terminal 3 and found Green Beans to be the best choice for what I was looking for. I got a breakfast sandwich, a latte, a smoothie, and an apple fritter. I was able to get through just before the rush, which I know can affect people's experience. I found the staff to be polite and hard working. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, just everything I needed. I really enjoyed my smoothie but it was $11 for a small glass bottle so I am not sure I would recommend unless you just really want one like I did. Standard latte, nothing special but all the same enjoyable. The apple fritter is huge and delicious, you should definitely get one while you're there. I ate half and took the other half home on my flight - around 6 hours later I gave my partner the other half and it was still super fresh. All in all, I spent $40 for all of my food. I think it is definitely worth a stop.

    Breakfast

I landed at SFO for a girl's weekend about an hour and half before any of the rest of my group so I found myself in need of a decent coffee and some breakfast. Initially I was hopeful to find a Starbucks because I think they are in general a safe bet when travelling but once I realized the Starbucks was located outside of security I went back to meandering the halls of this airport to find something to eat. Enter Green Beans Coffee. The line was long, but this place looked local and I thought it might be worth a shot. After all they had breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee so it had to be okay. Sadly this was probably the most disappointing breakfast sandwich and iced coffee I've had. My standards are always a bit lower at an airport, but when you're paying an arm and a leg, and waiting in a long line, you kind of expect it to be as good as a fast food restaurant. The breakfast sandwich was flavorless, and the coffee was slightly below average, though drinkable. I have to watch my caffeine intake right now so knowing I blew my one coffee that day on something below average made me a bit extra salty. The only saving grace here was that the woman working the pastry case at this location was probably the nicest and cherriest person I have ever encountered at an airport. She gets all the stars. Overall though, I'm not sure if SFO has a better coffee/ quick breakfast option, but if they do I'd probably try somewhere different next time.

    Apple cider drink

Got quick drinks at the SFO airport: matcha latte which was on the sweet side and apple cider drink which is usually clear but was cloudy possibly had some milk? Also too sweet. That said the line was long so the service was a bit disorganized but the store was convenient. Overall would prefer another option.

Worst coffee ever. Tastes like bitter hot water. Spent $24 on a breakfast sandwich and this cup of sadness.

The coffee came out relatively quick but it was very expensive (~$8) for it tasting pretty much like oat milk.

The sandwich tech guy was kinda sloppy on the build this time, don't know his name but if you watch him, you will know as the sauces were not evenly spread, some tomatoes folded and doubled up, pickles clumped on half the samich, onions unevenly placed...sloppy work. Normally you get a balanced marriage of the flavors in each bite, this time you I got blank spots and bites of excess condiments. This is the first time I have experienced this after years of Samich bliss! I'm going to chalk this up to poor training and supervision as I'm sure if any of the Veteran Sando techs or the Boss observed his process, they would call him out, hopefully. Regardless, I will be back and hopefully the issue will have been addressed by then. Sandwich making is truly an art form and if you are going to do it, do it with some love, because you can taste the difference! At least I can... Still got luv for you Lucca's!

This is a tiny little shop that seems to do a tremendous amount of business. Yesterday, we were in the area at 11:30, before the lunch rush officially begins. We parked practically in front at the curb and walked to the front door. Inside were about 10 customers, some waiting to pay, some watching their sandwiches being made and others waiting to order. We weren't quite exactly where to stand so we wormed our way to what we thought might be the end of the line. Probably not necessary. There were three sandwich makers and they simply called "next" when they were ready for the next guest. The first question we were asked was how many sandwiches followed by what breads. We're both fans of Dutch Crunch so that made it easy. Then we were asked what sandwich was first. With everything? What kind of cheese? Any add-ons? Then the second sandwich, same questions. The process was impressive. Our sandwich maker knew his craft and made us two wonderful sandwiches. She ordered the Fire Roasted Steak with everything. I ordered the Lucca's Ultimate Club without the Hot Pepper Sauce (mistake!). We got back to our van and the hot Steak smelled so good, we split it right then and completely devoured it! The Hot Pepper Sauce was not super spicy and the entire sandwich was huge and delicious. This morning, we split the Lucca's Ultimate. We each managed to put away about 1/2 of our 1/2 and then had to put them away. Not to worry, we finished them at dinner. I think because I had omitted the Hot Pepper Sauce, this sandwich wasn't quite as moist. I would have liked more lettuce, tomato and possibly some avocado. That's a note to myself for next time. Yes, there will be a next time. Service was great. Food was great. I wouldn't want the business to change anything. A small shop with huge demand that makes great food is worth the wait. Some might say that enlarging the business would increase speed and capacity but I say don't mess with a great thing!

If I had to sum it all up in one word it would be difficult so I'll try it in two: Dry and bland. And that description applies to everything: French fries, steak fries, coleslaw and the chicken! Literally, the coleslaw is nothing but shredded cabbage and a touch of mayo. Not 1 oz of seasoning whatsoever. The chicken had apparently been sitting out forever because when I took a bite I had to check to see if my teeth were still intact. It was Rock hard and tasteless. I should have been suspicious by the fact that everybody was visiting all of the other stands and nobody was coming here. it was inedible. Lesson learned! What could improve? seasoning for one. I don't believe that even put any salt and pepper on anything! also, just because you make a bunch of chicken that nobody wants to buy doesn't mean that you serve that chicken, that had clearly been sitting around for hours, to unsuspecting customers.
