Sunpower by Green Convergence could care less that my system has been INOP since April. The last time somebody came out was about 2 months ago they were supposed to replace the Inverter, they didn't bring one. They troubleshot the system came up with nothing. After couple weeks not hearing from them I called to schedule something they said they could come out 10/27 about 6 weeks later. How's that for Service it had already 4-5 months since my system worked, So they were out today, the Technician was very good and replaced the Inverter. The system was making a thumping sound that he was concerned about and let his people know, but left the system running. Now its also making a Loud humming sound. I contacted Green Convergence to see if a Tech could come out today and look at it. They said they were booked today but maybe latter in the week but Probably not. They made their money I guess they don.t have Time for me anymore. read more

We just got solar panels and wow it went so smooth and easy with Green Convergence. We had a two project managers who were available and communicative the entire process; they told us what to expect, who was coming, when they were coming, what they would be doing, and at the end of each day called me to tell me what the next step was. The installation for 25 panels only took 2 days and even though they had to run a conduit on the outside of our house, they color matched our stucco and even made out direct tv wire look better than it was before they came. I really appreciated the way they communicate and even though there was a minor hiccup in the inspection process (city had to reschedule) it all went very smoothly. Green Convergences is a top rated solar company but I must say it always starts with who you initially speak to and for me that was Nadia Foley who was an awesome consultant. Nadia guided me through the process and made it so easy. I couldn't have been happier with the work the company did. Nadia was always there when I had a question or two. I have recommended many of my friends to her who saw my install. Four or five of my friends have gone with GC and used Nadia as their consultant and were extremely happen with her and the total install. I am currently working with Nadia again this time trying to get a couple Tesla Powerwall 2 installed and as usually she's been so informative with the information and requirements needed to complete the deal. read more

These guys repaired my roof after the last heavy storm. I called 4 companies and each came over to give me an estimate. 3 of 4 said it would cost between $1,700 and $2,000 because they would have to replace 1/2 the roof. These guys came over and inspected the roof more closely and figured out that they only needed to replace a small section and they could probably do for $500. They went above and beyond by actually doing all the roof work including replacing some rotten wood that I didn't expect they would do and actually sent me pictures of the problem area before just covering back up with the roof tiles. I was very pleased with them and have since deleted all other roofing contractors from my address book. read more

Our solar experience started with getting quotes from 6 different solar companies. The quotes ranged from really high to really low and some were very detailed and some not so detailed. When Sam Johnson from Green Convergence came in our house we were skeptical. We had read that Sunpower had the most efficient panels but were going to be the most expensive. Two reps from company contacted me after I posted review, apologizing for the lack of communication. They immediately set me up with an account rep to provide me with a quote and a timeline for getting the reroof completed, which just happened last week. They were very helpful, responding to my questions within 24 hrs, but usually much sooner. The whole crew was friendly and professional and made sure the property was spotless at the end of each day. The demo crew even covered my pool, which was very thoughtful. It was expensive due to a considerable amount of repair that had to be done to my roof. They added extra venting as well, which should help with the efficiency of my whole house fans. Overall, I am pleased with the work performed. read more

These guys are a joke. I scheduled an appointment on a saturday between 830-930 am. Nobody had shown up by 1030 so I called the main office. I talked to the manager Eddie who told me that his driver lost my address. So of course he called to get the correct address right? NOPE. He just went ahead on to his next job without any notice. So this guy Eddie says he will have the guy come back on Sunday. So the guy actually shows up on Sunday, looks at it, but says he can't work on it. He says he'll be back on Monday to do the actual job. He doesn't. No phone call or explanation. I seriously would think twice before giving these guys a call to have as something as important as your roof worked on. read more

This has been the hardest company to get to call me back. I read the couple good reviews and thought I would give them a call. I have tried to get someone to come to my home to give me an estimate on a new roof for over a month. If they are this bad at calling back and saying that they will go by and then not then how could they be trusted to come and do the job timely. I researched solar options starting with no prior knowledge. Sunpower technology was the obvious choice for efficiency and esthetics. What I missed was how this connects to the actual project. Make the installer research as critical!! Green Convergence and Sunpower technology are not the least expensive option. For the extra cost, you will hire a fully integrated company of 60+ really devoted, driven people that managed my solar project from sales through design, permits, construction, testing, inspections and that all important "Permission to Operate" document. Their roofing expertise installed the panels on my S-style roof by removing all tiles in panel zones, added numerous layers of sealing materials and Corning long life shingles. Then the panel frames and perimeter flashing are attached directly to the sub-roof followed by custom cutting/fitting tiles to the edges. The result is solar panels only about 3/4" above the top of the tiles. The finished look is very sleek and professional. The solar gear and monitoring are amazing for you tech nerds. Don't care? The phone app is simple yet graphically concise. Support - Sunpower is there but Green Convergence wants to support me directly for everything. I like that a lot. Head and shoulders above the rest We recently had a Sunpower system installed at our home by Green Convergence. At the same time, neighbors of ours had systems installed by two other solar companies. Everyone in the neighborhood wants to know who installed ours, in fact the HOA has noticed how nice our installation is and has asked why all the solar installations aren't like ours. There is no conduit running on the outside of the house, the inverter is mounted inside the garage. The only thing that says we have solar is the panels on the roof. And with the Sunpower panels, the mounting is much much more streamline with the shape of the roof. The company was professional from my first contact to the completion of the installation. Everything went as planned. My neighbor had a competing company install their solar at the same time as we did. The difference is staggering. For example, all of the wiring and equipment is inside the house, not exposed to the elements as theirs is. We were pleasantly surprised when we got our first bill from Edison and it read -$116! Our next one was -$114! We were saving serious money as our previous average bill was $230. Given that the lease payment was about $125, we were getting all our electricity for only a few dollars. I used Green Convergence for my residential solar project of 7kw and I can honestly say that I could not be happier. Deanne was our rep and she really is amazing. I waited almost 5 months since the completion of my project to write this review. Deanne is just as attentive today as she was when she sold us the system. 5 months later and I am still calling her every once in a while to ask a question and she is always available and eager to help. I own a small electrical shop and I am VERY picky and critical of people who work at my house. I know what it takes to meet peoples high expectations and also know that it is not an easy task! They were the only ones who offered mounting the panels flat to the roof and not brackets. Where I live we have squirrel, raccoon, birds, etc all who like to nest or get shelter. Under a solar panel is not where I want them. They also put under the panels a 50 year warranty new roof! They replaced some tiles that were cracked at no charge. Every step of the way they kept me informed, worked quickly (panels in in 1 day) , answered all my annoying questions same day and had great attitudes. I'm 100% satisfied not only with the price and incentives but also if I have a problem they handle it all. They others said I had to go back to the factory or roofer or ??? I got it in writing everything I asked for. Deanne was my rep and if you can get her tell her I referred you and I get some $$$ but I really don't care because I'm tired of contractors not finishing on time and just doing ok work. They were so great I question that they had a contractors license because they were just "too professional" And that hasn't been my experience in the past with a lot of upgrades to our house and business. read more

This company is really great. I am a truly satisfied customer. Lots of companies will sell or lease you solar panels. Some may have good service and others not. Some may use high quality panels and inverters and others may not. Some may have knowledgeable and friendly staff and others may not. You get it all with Green Convergence. I initially contacted Green Convergence on a friend's recommendation. What initially made me more comfortable was that GC is really a roofing company, not electricians. We have a relatively new lightweight composite tile roof. These roofing tiles are very fragile. I had no interest in electricians walking around on my roof for days installing the system. I wanted real roofers that could minimize any damage and repair anything so that my house would continue to look great and be watertight. Green Convergence does so many things the right way if you're a homeowner who is interested not just in making cheap electricity, but also in keeping the appearance of your house as beautiful as possible. First off, they don't just come by and slap a bunch of panels on rails on top of your roof in a single day. They take their time, moving roof vents so that the panels won't end up looking like a checkerboard, removing the existing roofing material where the panels will go, making that roof structurally sound watertight, and then laying down the rails and panels. This has the effect of "recessing" the panels into the roof for a much better cosmetic experience. GC's electricians run all of the conduit for the panels through the attic and inside the walls, again taking their time, so that you don't see yards and yards of electrical conduit outside on the roof and running down the sides of the house. Likewise, they use the highest quality and efficiency American made panels and inverters rather than the other stuff from China. The team that took care of me was really great to work with through the entire process, from salesman Nick, roofer Chase, electrician's Miguel and Pablo, project manager Kevin, all the way to owner DJ and the DOZENS of other guys who's names I've missed. Everyone was reachable by email, cell, whatever means necessary and they always kept me in the loop. I know I can be a challenge to work with because I'm a "why" person and very nosy (not to mention demanding in that I want high quality work) and they kept me informed, answered my questions, and clearly treated my property with respect. At the end of the project they even installed a couple of 220 volt electrical outlets in my garage so that I can easily install electric car charging stations in the future without needing to pay another electrician to come and do it. If you want the job to be done cheaply and quickly, Green Convergence is not the right company for you. If you don't really care about the appearance of your house, then Green Convergence isn't the right company for you. If you don't care about high quality panels and inverters, well, you know... You get what you pay for. The money that the system costs eventually will find it's way back in to your pocket in the future with all of the savings on electricity that you will see and the immediate increase in value of your home. Other companies can do it for cheaper, but I'd be surprised if anyone can do it better. read more
