Tried this place for the first time last week. Wish I had found this place sooner!!! Had the #12 plate with chicken schwarma, Mediterranean salad, rice and hummus. Amazing food. Will definitely be back to try other dishes! The staff was very friendly. You go to the counter and place your order then pay. This place is hard to beat in terms of Mediterranean food. It's always jam packed, but they are fairly quick. The portions are extremely fair and they do not skimp. Everything I've tried has been awesome. The Greek fries with chicken and beef schwarma is packed with protein. I recommend this for anyone trying to make those gains! This restaurant is far from my home but always my goto place when I am even slightly close. It is well worth the drive. If you haven't been there in a while, they moved to another corner of the same row of stores. Even as the pandemic first hit Green Corner took hygiene very seriously. Their food is always great, our favorite is the Greek Fries; we have attempted other similar Greek Fries at other restaurants which have paled by comparison. Their gyro meat is always great tasting, textured and not soggy or greasy like you find elsewhere. They also seem to have the best falafel in the valley, never undercooked and large pieces too. Salads are fresh, lamb is great tasting and a unique dish which is hard to find in the valley. Best news is they are opening a location in Scottsdale soon YAY. read more

Great Greek option in AZ. No offense to grocery stores but hummus from this restaurant is just better. Their serving sizes are large and good for a big appetite (see photos). Do not sleep on Green Corner, I would give it 10 stars out of 5 if I could!!! Pros: -The plates (you really can't go wrong with any of them): they come with meat, rice, hummus, pita, and salad, and you can sub the salad for tabbouleh at no extra cost. And then a piece of baklava for dessert! -The servings are extremely generous and the flavors are delicious. Wow! We were blown away by the quality of food, the size of the entrees and the flavor! Everything was so delicious. My husband ordered the Lamb Kafta Kabob plate and unordered the Beef Tekka plate. The rice was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The salad was fresh! The hummus was incredible! A wall in the restaurant reads: hummus where the heart is. My heart is definitely with this hummus. We got pretty hungry while shopping in the area. A Lebanese acquaintance suggested this place. He said the food is excellent for fast food Mediterranean restaurant. He did highly recommend their hummus, but we were craving for meat! Plate orders come with 3 sides of your choice. I found my Lamb Kafta Kabob to be moist and delicious! I also enjoyed the refreshing side order of Tabouleh salad. My other sides were 2 portions of Baba Ghanoush, which I found lacking of eggplant but still tasty. My husband was very pleased with his Chicken Kabob and 3 sides of Tabouleh salad, but he did say my Lamb Kafta Kabob was better than his chicken. It's been a couple years since my last review here at Green Corner. I didn't read my last review until after I decided what I'd write this time. I was surprised to find my experience was very similar. Super friendly people. The Baba Ganoush continued to be excellent. Hummus was very good. Rice was very good. Atmosphere has been significantly upgraded inside, this was nice, but we were getting food to go. The reason the rating stays the same at 3 stars is the main courses were exactly the same. The chicken shawarma was relatively flavorful, but dry and small pieces. The gyro meat was also pretty tasty, but a bit dry and small pieces. If both main courses were more moist and larger pieces, the rating would certainly go up. The remodel is very nice, feels much more comfortable inside, nice job on that. read more

My wife's friend recommended this to us. We tried the Mesa location. First, I have to address the hummus. It is the best hummus I have ever eaten. We got two plates, one with chicken shawarma and one with beef shawarma. The meats were good, especially the beef but the hummus stole the show. Clean, organized, and self serve soft drinks. The filling of the order was a little slow which surprised me considering the number of employees on site. But the food was excellent. The chicken, beef, and lamb were cooked to order and tasted great. I was surprised at the gyros. Wow. Really good flavor and the tzatziki was wonderful. Not what it use to be. By a long shot. The place is dirty- from the windows, to the floor, to the drink dispenser. Even the booths are in sad shape (pics). If that's what it looks like where you can see, I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. The portions are smaller than they use to be even though the price is the same.
