That was excellent and it puts our local Greek place (in Long Beach) to shame. The smell of the pickup order made me drive a little faster to get home. The shawarma plate, chicken kabob and lamb chop plates all had a generous amount of meat, rice and that so smooth hummus. The lamb kofta sandwich was flavorful and I stepped it up with garlic sauce cause everything is better with garlic sauce. The falafel sandwich was a good combination of flavors and comfort. So happy with all our food and then... the baklava. Get the baklava even if you are just passing by. The balance of ingredients in the entrees carries over to this phenomenal version of nuts, honey and phyllo. Get the baklava and any other thing from this crew and you will not be disappointed. After coming home from Kuwait and traveling the middle east I was looking for authentic Shawarma and this is the only place I have tried so far (I've tried at least 7 different place around the valley) that actually reminds me of the middle east. Great flavor and vegetarian options available! I love their falafel sandwich (made like the shawarma) and their dolmas (wrapped grape leaves.) I've ordered Door Dash from the Green Corner twice and decided to order pickup today. I called and placed an order over the phone. The employee was very nice and exact to make sure I got the meal I wanted. I came to pick it up and WOW. The inside looks super clean and trendy. Next time I am definitely eating in. I loved how bright it was and generally how nice it was on the inside. I got a Gyro Combo, which for $8.95 gets you a Gyro that has perfect portions of all the works, fries and a piece of baklava plus a drink. This fills me up almost uncomfortably! The gyro meat is perfect.... I've tried lots of green places in the valley and if the meat is off it ruins the whole gyro, here it is amazing and perfectly cooked. Fries are typical Greek place fries, super good though and always cooked crispy. This is a 5/5 Greek place. My only suggestion is to please add a dish to the menu where there is gyro meat over hummus that comes with pita!! I would come here every week if that was an option. read more

This has some of the best Middle Eastern food in the east valley. My go-to dish is an gyros pita sandwich. There is so much meat on it I usually have to take some off to be able to eat it. They almost always give free baklava with an order. I almost gave it four stars, because the line at times is 30 to 45 minutes. But rating it down because they're so good it's often crowded didn't seem fair. read more

The is my first time back to Green since COVID began.. I thought they closed down as first but they just moved a couple doors down! Thank God! The new location is bigger and very nice! Food is always good! Love everything! The only thing that fell short for me today for the service.. the girl with the pink hair was lacking.. I ordered two plates and I had asked her to switch the salad for fries for ONE of the plates.. and when she brought it out they both had fries ‍ .. she just placed the food and left.. didn't ask if we need anything.. so one of my plates had no salad.. and the fries had no ketchup. At the end of our meal she brought the dessert out and just placed it on our table.. but I notice how she explains what she's giving out when she gave it out to the table next to us. I'm a little surprised that this place is so highly rated, based on the experience I had. The quality of food wasn't very good, but I'm going to chock it up to the fact that we ordered close to closing time so it probably wasn't fresh? I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and the Greek salad with chicken shawarma, and the chicken in both dishes was extremely dry and flavorless. They also just haphazardly dumped an unnecessary amount of chicken on the salad which caused the lettuce to be warm and wilted by the time we opened it. The baklava was just ok, and the kibbeh wasn't very flavorful. The hummus was the only thing that was good. Overall not sure if I would return based on the food alone. read more

I came here midday for lunch. They have indoor and outdoor dining. You order and pay at the counter, then your order is made up and brought to your table. This was my first visit here. I ordered the Green Door Combo. The good: The hummus was wonderful. The portions are large, especially the one I ordered as it had 3 kabobs. It could easily feed two, or more if small eaters. Also the gal came around with a free baklava. Not sure if that is always done. Also owners do monitor their feedback and a young gal came out and asked how the food was. The not so good: They asked how I wanted the meat cooked and I said medium. Two of the three kabobs were pretty well charred and black. The tea dispenser said Peak tea. Peak is a very good brand. However the tea was room temp and weak as could be. So you would have to add a lot of ice and at the point you would be better off with water as thats about all you got. If you want to charge your phone some plugs dont work but the table to your right as you enter has one that does work and there is just one table there so nobody will tangle with your cord. read more
