Most Pita Bread is vegan so I would assume theirs is. Great vegan options at Green Corner would include the stuffed grape leaves, Baba ghannoug, and their falafel. They also have yummy hummus and salads.

Do they have tzatziki sauce?

Yes. I always switch the garlic out for tzatziki and they do it for no extra cost and they are happy to do so.

Due to this locations stocking issue we had to pay for small drinks because they were "out of water cups". I fail to understand why it is on us for this location's stocking issue (which I can say is prevalent with a lot of Cava's I've been to, but that's another thing).

Despite this, there was only one person working -- a server who was also acting as the bartender -- trying to handle everything. At one point, a woman came in to pick up a to-go order and stood waiting for quite a while. When the server finally got to her, she joked, "Are you the server, bartender, and cook?" His response: "I just don't cook." Her food still wasn't ready, so she had to keep waiting. I ordered a grapefruit mimosa, which cost $9.55 but was only about three-quarters full in the wine glass. Why serve it like that? It just felt skimpy. After finishing my drink, I sat for another 10 minutes waiting to close out my tab. This was actually my second visit. We came once before for dinner with friends since we all live in Mesa and thought the concept was cool and close to home. Unfortunately, the service then was just as bad, even with more staff on shift. I had hoped stopping in for a quick drink would be a better experience -- but sadly, it wasn't. I won't be back. It's a shame because the place has potential, but management really needs to take staffing seriously.

It may have taken 20 minutes for the food to arrive to the table but it's worth the wait, and I meant it. I decided on the Green Corner plate combo it's served with rice, salad and hummus. I switched out the salad for tabouleh salad. So great! I'm not a tomatoes and onions person but with tabouleh, most definitely; it's coved with lemon and mint. P.s the young lady recommend it and gave me a mouth watery sample. The yummy yellow rice, so tasty - secret recipe. Completely hooked on it. The hummus tasted so fresh and very fulfilling. The plate also came with a falafel ball, I could taste every single spice. It was crunchy and warm. Now the main meal the kabobs; the plate came with a beef kabob , chicken kabob and lamb kafta kabob. My plate was cooked at medium well just perfect! The chicken and lamb were my absolute favorite. Chicken had this lemon sauce over it that made it 10x better. I've never was a big fan of lamb but the kabob from here so delicious! The beef could be better but that's just my personal opinion, it was a bit too dry for me. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and patient with me. They also offered me baklava on the house. So, my boyfriend and I came to this place because it had and excellent yelp score and I've been told by others that it was da-bomb. Good, yes. The food is da bomb, but the service needs improvement. First I had the hummus and the Greek salad and both were very good. My bf had the gyro and said it was good, not great. But the girl that helped us acted like she wanted to be anywhere in the world but where she was. When we asked for a recommendation, she said "everything's good" and left it at that. We asked her what her favorite dish was and she said "the gyro but she liked it all". And while that maybe true the attitude in which she said it communicated "just pick something already". I am sure I'll try it again as I don't like to judge based off one experience but I was very underwhelmed by the attitude and service which is sad because the food was decent. read more

This Mediterranean restaurant is absolutely incredible! The food is unbelievably delicious and fresh, especially the shawarma. They offer a variety of combinations, and I decided to try the combo plate. Let me tell you--it's massive! The portion is so large that it's perfect for two or even three people. There's so much food, you're guaranteed to leave with a full stomach. The presentation is quite simple, but the flavors more than make up for it. The crispy fries were a standout for me as well. I'm already planning to eat here every day this week--it's that good! Judging by the number of customers, this place is clearly very popular, and for good reason. Green Corner Restaurant is a gem in the Phoenix Valley that I find myself returning to regularly. They easily have the best hummus in the area--it's exceptional! The food here is incredibly fresh, reasonably priced, and the portions are huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. The restaurant is clean and simply decorated, creating a comfortable atmosphere that's almost always packed with people. The service is great, though it's worth noting that there can be a bit of a wait for certain dishes, like the chicken kabob, which typically takes 30-40 minutes. However, the shawarma is served much faster if you're in a hurry. My go-to favorites are the tabbouleh and hummus--they're simply outstanding. A special shout out to Cassy who was my cashier and waitress. She was cool under the dinner rush while still being able to help customers in a calm and polite manor, while being able to balance all the mundane aspects of the job, take an order here, clean off silverware, answer all your questions and check up on you. You can obviously tell the competition isn't happy about Green Corner so they have people write fake reviews. The beef kebabs is some of the tastiest meat I've ever had. Excellently marinaded and cooked to perfection. You are met with awesome service and the guys there are some of the most genuinely nice people I have ever met. It's pretty cool eating at a place where the people genuinely care about your experience. I eat there 2-3 times a week. Best part is you feel good after you eat it, healthy and tasty. Came in after night classes and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was. I told them I couldn't have any dairy and they brought my lentil soup and Greek salad out with no cheese and dressing on the side. The lentil soup was some of the best I ever had and the salad was VERY fresh! Towards the end of my meal the girl working brought me a free piece of dessert which she said had no dairy. And, normally I give more stars for service, but after waiting 30 minutes for take out (consisting of 2 falafel plates, and a kabob plate) was told it was a standard wait time because we had some "plates"....not even "plates that take longer than usual"?....still... The Greek fries were the highlight of my meal - they tasted amazing and were truly enjoyable. However, the gyro was just okay. The food is delicious at this place. My favorite plates are the grilled chicken thigh, it has a rich lemon taste to it. The Greek fries are amazing, they are dressed with lemon sauce and sprinkled with feta and parmesan cheese, and toped with paprika. The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

There was acidity from multiple types of pico and vinaigrette, creamy hummus and labneh tzaziki, and fresh veggies and herbs. The lentils and deliciously flavored chips made the meal extra filling too! I also made my own "southwestern" Arnold Palmer by mixing their homemade prickly pear tea with pink lemonade, and it was phenomenal. My mom also loved her falafel bowl -- the falafels weren't dry at all, which is usually her biggest concern with ordering them. We had a good portion of leftovers too, which made the value of the meal SO incredible. Healthy and protein-packed -- what's not to love? Can't wait to be back, especially after a good workout!!
