I usually have a good experience with Salad and Go but it's never a 5 here. The only thing that's a 5 in my opinion is the servers are nice. Today was a bad experience sadly. We ordered 2 wraps, one with the pulled chicken and mine was the Thai wrap with steak. Boy was that a mistake. We really missed the chopped style chicken this shredded chicken will take some time getting use to. I DO NOT recommend the steak. It tasted like how cat food from a can smells plus it was so chalky I literally spit it out. Not worth the $1.25 xtra. Plus my Thai wrap was so full of carrots I couldn't even find any of the other ingredients. It was so disappointing between the beef and the carrots it just ended up in the trash. All I really have to say is, I love Salad and Go, and I wish it would make its way out to CA!! I love the concept of getting a fresh salad at the right portion and price. The menu is simple but very satisfying. I love the choice of drinks, too. I haven't been inside one because I'm always on the go-go, but the drive-thru service never misses. The employees are always so friendly, and they are quick to get the orders out the window. I ordered the turkey sausage, egg and cheese burrito with the traditional salsa. The burrito was very large for the money which was awesome. The burrito itself was stuffed full of the turkey sausage and egg. There could have been more cheese because I could barely taste any. Also it was a little on the salty side for my liking. I have been going to salad and go for a few years since I found them on Yelp and decided to try them. Today I went and grabbed me a lemonade but I saw that they had hummus with pita chips. Been to this location a bunch of times. Portions a quality has been consistently good. Staff is always courteous. It's easy to tell that the food is fresh handled with care here. I usually get the southwest bbq ranch chicken salad. Lettuce with avocado, pico, grilled chicken, black beans, corn, shredded cheese, tortilla crisps and bbq ranch dressing. I actually usually eat it without the dressing, the salad has so much flavor. We've also had the breakfast burritos and the chicken pot pie soup. Would recommend both. The chicken with potato and vegetables is very comforting. It's thinker more like a potato soup. The breakfast burritos are good except the bacon is bacon bits. I would like it if they used real bacon. The eggs, cheese and tortilla are very good otherwise. Pro tip. Try adding a little carbonated water to the cucumber lemonade drink. Game changer. read more

I love love love this spot! Whenever I am in the area I make sure to stop in multiple times! This drive thru little spot has excellent breakfast sandwiches, salads, lunch options and drinks that will quench your thirst. On the way from the airport we stopped in for lemonades (very cheap and delicious), as well as two salads. I was able to custom build my salad and add veggies in place of meat/tofu which was perfect. The portion comes in a big plastic container so that you can add your dressing then put the lid on and shake it up, thus eliminating the to-go risk of only having dressing on the top pieces of lettuce! Today was my second attempt at placing a mobile order in advance since the new ordering system was launched. The first attempt didn't go over too well, I ordered at 9 am and by noon my order wasn't made. Long story short I and about 50 others waited outside for over 30 minutes as the orders slowly started coming out in no order. The system just couldn't handle the incoming orders. After a long pause I thought I would try again, this time ordering on the mobile at 11 for pick up at noon. As I pulled up I received an email that my order wasn't received to the location and to explain the situation to the window, order again and I would be refunded the previous charge. I waited in the long drive through line and explained to the situation to Alessandra. They indeed received my order and would make it, it was unclear as to if the charge had gone through on my end. I offered to pay again under the expectation that I would be refunded as the notification stated. After speaking to the manager on duty Alessandra and her manager agreed that the confusion was enough and this meal was comped. Thanks Alessandra for turning this situation right side up and making the best of it as it could have easily been a second unpleasant incident for all of us. Your team rocks! Dairy-free (DF) friends - Thai salad is the only one that's dairy free, but you can customize the other salads by removing cheese or swapping the dressing. You can add almond milk, oat milk, and any of the caramel/hazelnut/vanilla flavor shots to your coffee. Fiesta Burrito - My favorite breakfast burrito from any restaurant. I remove the pepper jack cheese, tortilla strips, and turkey sausage, then add roasted chicken (+$1.44) and avocado. It comes with eggs, potatoes, and pico de gallo. The burrito is fresh, flavorful, and the ingredients are clean. Other restaurants have greasy burritos that don't feel great to eat. BBQ Ranch Salad - My go-to salad. I remove the pepper jack cheese and tortilla strips, then choose chicken as my protein. It comes with corn, black beans, pico de gallo, avocado, romaine, mixed greens, and chipotle BBQ ranch dressing. The dressing is kinda spicy (my spice tolerance is low) so I go a little lighter on the dressing. Since I stopped eating dairy, I mix BBQ sauce and DF ranch at home... not quite the same but it's okay lol. Thai Salad - Comes with carrots, red cabbage, red bell pepper, cucumber, romaine, and Thai peanut dressing. I'm the guy that refers to salad as rabbit food and doesn't incorporate it into my diet at all (don't worry, I do eat vegetables). Luckily for me, I overheard my coworkers talking about how good the breakfast burritos and lemonade at Salad and Go were and thought I would investigate. I decided to order the traditional breakfast burrito and a frozen strawberry lemonade. My total for breakfast came out to $4.32, which I found to be a great deal. The breakfast burrito was loaded with eggs, potatoes, cheese and bacon. It was a good sized portion for the cost ($2.99). It could have been because it was a hot and humid day but the frozen strawberry lemonade was the star of the show. Salad to go is great. The veggies are fresh! I don't see any bad lettuce leaves. The dressing comes in plastic packets that need to be cut open to be dispensed. This is good because then the lettuce leaves don't go bad if I save some of it for the next day. They give a decent amount of chopped chicken with the salad. I think I like the little mozzarella balls the best. A few times I got the egg which is precut into slices, but generally left together as a while egg. They also give a lot of croutons.
