FANTASTIC! Initially reached out online to book an appointment and received a very prompt reply. A representative then called me as we were going back and forth a lot due to my tricky schedule and was able to get a technician to my house on a Saturday for routine maintenance of our A/C at no extra cost. She made sure I was aware of the special they were running and assured me there would not be any surprise fees. The technician was on-time, extremely professional, friendly and took extra time to explain things in detail and trouble shoot things with us. We were perplexed as to why our electric bill was so high given that this is a 2 year old unit. He truly went above and beyond and probably spent way more time than is allotted for a routine service with us to figure out the problem - turns out the high density air filter we were using was causing the unit to work much harder than it should without moving much air - never would have figured this out without his help. And, as promised, we were only charged the quoted service fee special. Will not call anyone else for service or maintenance for anything heating or cooling related! read more

These people are crooks. They will quote your for the highest fee to change a panel, even when they rip you off for that fix, they will puncture holes in your system where nobody can patch them, in order for you to go for the aggressive "upgrade" to another system. Keep in mind my system that my system was only 2 years old and always well maintained. To add insult to injury, the last two of their technician stole the new digital a meter that was in my basement, along with the new capacitor I had purchase. I have a Mitsubishi Ductless and after my original Mitsubishi contractor passed away, I read on the Mitsubishi website that Green Heating is on their Platinum contractor list, on a system that has few experts. Thus, I have been using them for years and they are the best! They are honest, do a fantastic job and are very easy to work with. Their entire team starting with Kelly who does the scheduling, Erion, Mirim and Leo are absolutely the greatest! I had a hard job for them and "pestered" Kelly, whom I never met, for quite a while. She was always gracious and helpful. Today, Mirim and Leo did the job that I doubt is anyone's favorite. They never complained and did it expertly and efficiently in about two and a half hours. WAYYYY OVERPRICED... i shopped around and got a few quotes for a new HVAC system. They came and quoted me $6800 . By far the most expensive quote. Outrageous. In fact the other quotes were $4400 and $5500. They tried saying that they're warranty was better and they will get us a more expensive equipment lol. Please shop around and do your research. I'm sure they're a great company but the price is outrageous. We went with the $4400 with was through Lowe's with a great warranty as well. read more

My realtor recommended Green Heating Cooling and Electric to service my HVAC unit after the inspection showed I should get it checked out and cleaned. It was $89 for the inspection and $185 for the cleaning. I called the week before and they scheduled George to come out during a 2 hour window. They called to confirm the appointment the day before and called in the morning to give me a half hour heads up they were on their way. George was prompt, efficient, and friendly, he explained everything he was doing, how long it would take, asked permission for everything he did (going upstairs, to the basement, turning on the water, turning the air on) and he wore a mask and kept his distance (this is during the coronavirus pandemic). He was able to take credit card on the spot with a card reader (and no extra charge) and emailed me the invoice right away. Would recommend them for your heating and cooling needs! read more

These guys saved us over the New Years holiday. I woke up Tuesday morning (New Years Eve) to a broken heater. The unit was only six years old. We had an issue with a gas leak at our heater and needed an inspections and new gas valve. After shutting off our heater we called at 8:45pm and they were able to come out first thing the next morning. Honest guys who don't see a female homeowner and immediately see dollar signs like their competitors do. "All Ways" HVAC Co. in Maple Shade, NJ (karma, go get him!) sold me a bad AC unit that has needed yearly servicing for the last 10 years (leaks freon). I've paid a small fortune every Spring to Hutchinson, Horizon, Sanders and a few others for freon. Thank goodness I found Green Heating & Cooling. Last Spring, Yanni charged me a fair price for his services to replace the freon. Recently used them to check my heater as it would not turn on. Shai came and cleaned it out and I trust it will work fine now, again charging a fair price. One month ago, Green Heating and Cooling replaced my 17 year old and 19 year old AC and furnace, respectively, with Bryant Evolution Series single-stage AC and two-stage furnace. They also installed a new Aprilaire humidifier. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, and I fully expect they will stand behind their work going forward. They may not have the "flash" of some other big name local companies, but they do have real experts, fair pricing, and a focus on customer satisfaction--the things that really mater! To start, when I called Green Heating and Cooling, someone actually answered the phone. I know this seems like a minor thing, but I would say very rarely happens when I reach out to contractors in Philly and did not happen with most HVAC companies I contacted. The woman I spoke with in the office scheduled an appointment for Gerti to come out the next day at a time convenient to my schedule. Gerti called in advance to confirm the appointment and asked me some questions about my system so that he was prepared when he came to make an estimate. First, Gerti showed up on time--another rarity with contractors in Philly. Also, even though I had asked for a replacement system, he spent time evaluating my entire system with the hope of repairing if possible instead of replacing. When we jointly came to the decision to replace, Gerti talked through the various options, was sensitive to my budget, and was very clear that he didn't want to put in more of a system than my house could benefit from. A formal proposal with several options was provided within several days, and Gerti responded to a litany of my questions by e-mail to get me comfortable. Once I picked Green over several other well-known companies, we scheduled immediately and his team was out the very next day--this was not really necessary or expected, but did help Gerti earn my business. The installation team came in, completed the job in a day, and left the house in the same state they found it in. Several days later, Gerti did need to come back to make some minor tweeks to the thermostat and humidifier system. He did this promptly, and he came to my place of work to pick up house keys so that I did not have to take more time off of work. I trusted his team in my home without my presence--he earned my trust. The last thing worth mentioning is that he followed up by e-mail when Peco reinstated its rebate program. He urged me to submit the application asap as to not miss out on the rebate. System works great. Very happy so far and do not anticipate any issues. I can not say enough about how much we appreciated Green's services. They arrived promptly fitting us in the morning that we called to determine what was going on with the air conditioning unit. They gave us a two hour window...unlike the 4 hour window that we had experienced previously with another provider (but that's another story). They arrived well within that window and called to let us know when they were about 20 minutes out. George was personable, professional, polite and efficient. He provided clear explanations about what needed to be done, the equipment/materials that would be use and options that we had. We decided to replace the unit. It was more than 20 years old. George assured us they could start in the morning but may only be able to complete the cooling system and would return to do the heating portion. At 11 am, they were there and jumped right in! The work ethic of these guys was unbelievable, the craftsmanship was impeccable. They were constant about maintaining a clean work area. With the exception of bathroom breaks and occasional drinks of water, there was no stopping. By mid afternoon, the house was about 90 degrees sans humidity, the professional installer was soaked from perspiration but he wouldn't even stop for a PIECE OF FRUIT!!! By late afternoon they were unable to do the electrical work on the compressor outside because of rain so they worked on the heating unit inside and were able to finish it. We were afraid that they would have to come back out the next day to complete the electrical work outside. That would mean NO air conditioner. At about 5:30 they began to pack up their truck but were unable to remove all of the parts from the old unit and some pallets from the new. They assured us it would be removed in the morning. They were kind enough to remain until the rain cleared and they could safely make the electrical connections outside. What a blessing! They did a walk through of the house to make sure things were working properly and left some very satisfied and happy customers. The next day...they returned as promised and removed the stuff from the driveway. Green exceeded all expectations we had for this experience. I would recommend them to anyone lucky enough to be in their service territory. I would use them again in a heartbeat! read more

I purchased a $29 half hour diagnostic on Angie's List (original price was $99) to determine the problem with my HVAC. I purchased it around 3 PM on a Tuesday and they came out on time the next morning. Erion figured out the problem pretty quickly and it was obvious he def knew what he was doing. I had my central air conditioning system fail and called Green, although they showed up they totally miss diagnosed the problem, they told me that there was a freon leak and and that the unit was 14 years old. I asked them to fill the unit and see if it leaks out. They requested that I pay the service charge of $99.00 dollars along with the charge of $466.92 for the freon, I call back and questioned the price, feeling that it was quit expensive, I was told that freon is outdated and very expensive. The next morning the machine stopped working all together, so I called in another service company. They as well showed up in a timely manner and address the problem in a matter of minutes, They found that the drain in the drip pan was to high and and not allowing the system to drain properly thereby turning off the machine. It was repaired in about 20 minutes and was given a bill of $175.00, which seemed to be spot on. The unit has worked ever since. My personal opinion is that I would do without AC before I would call them again. read more
