They flooded my new basement and stuck me with the bill! I had a new furnace installed with a humidifier. They connected the humidifier to the water line with a saddle valve which started leaking. I found my newly redone finished basement flooded two weeks after the install, they came and replaced the valve with what appears to be the proper install, but told me the water damage is my problem! I provided receipts for the one year old carpet and vinyl floor that has to be replaced, they refused to take responsibility and now I'm out around $10k and the basement is a mess! read more

Technician came to fix my boiler heater,because I wasn't getting heat from my radiators. The bottom line: He caused a pipe to burst with water over my basement floor. He apologized, cleaned up the water and left. I still had had to pay service fee. Now I have to spend more money getting another plumber to fix it. read more

Terrible!!!! Had an appointment. 1 of the 2 Technician arrived early(10am). Asked him to come back at scheduled appointment time, which was from 12-2pm and he never came back nor called. What he quoted me to fix my heater was reasonable as I already had gotten another quote, but since they seemed so knowledgable and friendly I let them do the work. I was very disappointed by my experience with the office staff at Angel Heating and Cooling. I had technicians come out for a tune up on my air conditioner. They were prompt, professional, and friendly and made a few recommendations for maintenance work that needed to be done. I then received a proposal for maintenance that seemed to include more than what I had been told was needed, including items that were already done as part of the initial tune up. When I called the office to try to understand the proposal, they were incredibly condescending and seemed to be annoyed that I was asking questions. I don't know enough about air conditioner units to know whether the proposal was indeed for the right items (it's possible it was and it was a communication issue), but it is highly concerning to me when a business is not willing or able to explain their services and expects customers to blindly agree to them. read more

Our temperature controller was out of work. Ivan and his young assistant replaced it quickly. So, the problem was solved within 1 day.

One of their techs came to look at my heater furnace and did some testing. He called his manager and told him his diagnosis. The following day, they suggested that we replace the whole furnace and they gave us a quote for over $7k. I had another guy look at my furnace and he found that the only problem was that there was a clog in one of the pipes. Only charged me $125. This company's employees will make you spend money that you dont need to spend. Dont use this company. read more

The technician was very profesional. His diagnose was that I needed to change the filter. He told me that if that doesn't work I can call them again. The HVAC worked for 3 days, when I called them again I was told that after 24 hours I need to pay again. The technician came for a second time and did additional procedures, the diagnose was the filter, however the filter was cleaned. It didn't make sense. I called a friend out of state and he gave me a diagnose after I followed his instructions. I called another company and the guy gave me the same diagnose. Angel heating is good for telling you to change the filter but now for a real diagnose. I would not recommend them. read more

Their customer service and their work are so top notch! Their team work really hard and they are reliable and know what they are doing. I bought just a new house and found out that we had the wrong size condenser which messed up our whole HVAC unit, it took a couple of months to diagnose the issue considering that they were busy which was understandable but we have a whole new unit now and it took them less than a day to install during the summertime. Price was reasonable and they offered us payment plans and discounts. Their team are very courteous putting out mats so our floors weren't ruined during the installation. I had a great experience with this company last year. Last year, beginning of fall, my air conditioner stopped working. I called this company based off great reviews and the tech was amazing. I wish I could remember his name but he seemed honest. He told my husband and I that he believe we could have a leak but that it would be costly to test it as the weather was cooler outside that particular day and to call him back when things warmed up. Fast forward to May-ish and I called to get ahead of the summer heat. They came out and told us the same thing but were able to temporarily fix the air. The tech told us that if it stopped working mid-summer we most likely had a large leak but if not, then it was indicative of a small one. Went on vacation early September and came home to find the air was blowing air again but not cold. Called the company again and they came out the following week. When the tech arrived to do any testing, the wire/tube outside froze up and they told us they couldn't do the test (the company should have told us in advance that we should have had the unit turned off 24 hours in advance). The day they were scheduled to come back, they canceled because it was raining which would affect the leak test. They scheduled us out another FULL WEEK. At this point, it's now been 3 weeks without working air and we have a baby. They were scheduled come back today at 9am. After about 20-30 minutes I called the company to ask if the tech was coming and I was informed it was a 2-hour window (9-11am even thought the text said 9am). Around 11:15, I called and asked for an update. The woman had to check and call me back and said they had another job before mine and would be there within the hour. At 1pm, still no one showed at the house and no one informed me of another delay. I called to cancel the appointment entirely and am extremely disappointed with their follow-up and lack of consideration of people's time. I had to modify my entire day, multiple times, due to the times they were set to come out. Very unprofessional handling and lack of care toward paying, repeat customers. And before they respond, the appointment was under my married name (have seen others replies from Angel that the reviewers were not in their system). read more

I purchased a heating system, the price was cheap and they installed it with in a couple days. Then I was having a problem with it and I called and they sent the technician out and he fixed it. But when you call the office the secretary/receptionist they have there, (Sophia) they need to get rid off her. She has a very nasty attitude. She always gets the information you give her wrong. Then she tries to make you look like you gave her the wrong info. When you call the office for what ever reason, she answers the phone with an attitude. The owner needs to get rid of her. I have a AC unit that stopped working right after I've purchase the house so I contacted Angel Heating and Cooling to come and check it out. They were responsive and accommodating, willing to meet me on Sunday. When the technician came, right away he saw the problem. Apparently, one of the wire was cut when the landscaper came to trim down the bushes so he helped to put in a new wire, re-insulated the pipes outside and even helped me add in a missing screw to the unit. Overall, he saved me tons of money not having to purchase a new AC unit. If you're looking for a reasonable and trustworthy crew, definitely give Angels Heating and Cooling a call. Don't even bother. I was having problems with my upstairs being too warm (common problem). Wanted to get my central A/C checked out to make sure everything was ok. They no showed their first appointment that was from 9-11am. After I left for work, they called me AT WORK to see if they could come then. Umm.... no.... I have a job, like most people and can't just leave. The female dispatcher wasn't apologetic for the missed appointment at all by the way. The second appointment they also missed, but they claimed it was because I never confirmed it. The same female dispatcher was VERY rude about it. On the third appointment they finally show up. They ask if my filter is ok and then check the pressure. Then they recommended I get a fan and charged me $75. I did my own research and managed to fix the problem myself. I found some leaks in the duct work and balanced out the airflow with vent blockers. Note, I'm an early 20s female with NO experience with home maintenance. So basically, you're better off going it alone than calling these guys. Or just call somebody else. I only continued with them after the first missed appointment because they were assigned to me by my home warranty program (which is a scam within itself, btw). AVOID! read more

We had our AC go right before a predicted heatwave. Not good timing if there's ever any. Angel worked on my parents' HVAC in the past and they recommended that we give them a call since they were so happy with the work. An Angel technician was able to come the next day to diagnose the problem and we had a new HVAC heater and and air compressor put in within a week. Angel gave us a great price and their staff, from the technicians to the office staff were all great to work with. Last month when we had a really big storm my gas water heater broke and needed to be replaced. I called angel and had somebody on site within the hour. They ordered a new water heater and it was installed the very next day. The work was done very fast and the guys were very clean and neat. Sophia is the most disrespectful person I've ever encountered in a service industry. Their website states no obligation to repairs and that A service fee would be collected regardless. I've paid services fees on both occasions with no issues. Yesterday a technician advised on parts for repairs. Today I received a proposals for repairs not in line with what was discussed asked for clarity on this and it turned into an assumption I could not pay. I was told by Sophia who sent the proposal and called that I was no longer allowed to call their company as I keep refusing their proposals. Again- I'm under no obligation to accept their proposal after paying service call fees. The parts were left uninstalled that the technician identified as faulty yet Sophia told me no one would return to my home. I took her no need to be rude or nasty she said my mother was nasty and I should call a neighbor or someone to do it for free since I couldn't pay and never to call them again. This is ridiculous as she should not be the one responding to customers in this manner or make assumptions on income level or customers capacity. Sophia needs to be addressed. She's unprofessional, rude and gives nasty attitudes and responses. read more

Arranging the job was simple, they came out on time, and worked quickly. They spent a lot of time helping me put a new dryer exhaust in, which was in addition to the work they promised to do on the actual heating and ac system. Also, when I had trouble with the thermostat shortly after the work was completed, they came right out and repaired it with no questions asked. Our central air broke last week (no cool air coming out the vents) so our home warranty company provided us a maintenance company that determined the compressor pump had failed. The itemized charges on the invoice from the first maintenance company looked suspiciously high, so my wife and I contacted Angel Heating & Cooling for a second opinion. Not only did Angel's service technician discover that the compressor pump was fine, he identified the real problem with the unit (a melted cable) and had it fixed in less than an hour.
