My daughter took us here because I wanted yummy Mexican food. When I walked in, I had my doubts because it looked very casual and to me, it looked like fast food. We sat ourselves and a waiter came and provided chips and salsa. The salsa is not spicy but very fresh. I ordered a platter and chose one sweet pork enchilada with all three sauces and a chili relleno. The portion I also substituted my rice and beans for a salad. My expectation for a side salad was low, but when it came out with tomatoes, cheese and tortilla strips and an avocado ranch dressing - wonderful and fresh! My entree came out and was just the right amount of food. I couldn't decide which of the three enchilada sauces I liked best but all were amazing. The chili relleno was good and had a spicier sauce on it. My husband who doesn't like Mexican food even loved it! He enjoyed an enchilada, flautas and taquitos. The price was lower than expected, and we didn't have leftovers, but I prefer that when traveling. We will be back! read more

This is an extremely lovely and convenient spot. This is in the lobby of the Red Lion Hotel and Convention center. We stayed there two nights and I was surprised to find myself here both nights. Food - The first night we got the fajitas chicken and beef. We shared the meal because it looked huge in the pics. Well, it was. And better than the size of the portions was the taste. It was super lovely with great meat and really tasty onions and peppers. It also came with six tortillas which really surprised me. This is totally made for two people. The rice and beans were just about what you alway get. Good but not like a game changers. But I feel that's common. Overall the fajitas were super on point and I'd get them again. Service - The service could not have been better both nights. I genuinely could not have asked for better service. Well done to this place. I'd totally come to this place again even if I didn't stay at the Red Lion hotel but it is especially great if you're staying there. I'd suggest you give this place a try. read more

What a hidden gem with fantastic Mexican food, great margaritas and super friendly service. We were promptly greeted and seated. We ordered the chips/guacamole starter and 2 Cadillac Margaritas. Absolutely delicious and we're picky since we make this at home. Our entree was the 3 item combo with shredded beef taco, cheese enchilada and chili relleno. Again fantastic. Our server ( sorry I can't remember her name) had just started 2 days ago but she was super friendly and did a great job. She even offered to take our picture since it was the end of our road trip. As we were finishing a gentlemen came up to chat with us. He might've been the owner or manager but he too was so nice. I just wish we had this place by us. read more

We've had quite a few different dishes throughout the years we've eaten at Green Iguana in several different locations around town before settling at the outlet mall. We've never been disappointed. First time at the new location. Very clean and brightly decorated. This location is geared for a fast food type service. No wait service, but still the great food they are known for. My wife and I had the 2 Fish tacos, rice and beans. It was very fast and great flavors. Enjoyed the fresh made tacos and the super fast service. Located in the Zion shop strip mall. This place is packed these days. We couldn't wait a few times before, but tonight we were not in a hurry. There was a thirty-minute wait on a Thursday night (Easter weekend/sports tournaments/spring break/etc.). Maybe the hotel swimming pool isn't open during Covid restrictions because we couldn't smell chlorine as usual--just good Mexican food. The hostess was good to keep checking on those waiting for a table. Jordan was our server and was great! We found out later from the supervisor that it was his first day on the job. Never would have known. An added bonus is that he looks just like Christian Bale which is nice. Wink wink. We ordered enchiladas, tacos and fajitas. They have whole pinto beans and tasty rice with guacamole and sour cream. Decent complimentary salsa and chips. They have a variety of drinks. We didn't get dessert. read more

This place is pretty decent. Chips and salsa were great. Service was great. I felt they spaced people out well due to covid. Our lunch here was good. I had a burrito and it had good flavor. I enjoyed the rice and beans. The only downside to this place is it is connected to a hotel and the hotel was clearly not requiring people to wear masks as there were several people milling about without masks and that is irritating during a pandemic. Restaurant did very well though at following procedures. We will definitely eat here again. read more

Wow! Just got done eating here! They started with chips and salsa. Complementary on the house! And to be able to eat INSIDE was the best! We ordered Margaritas that were so good! And the food was all so de-lish! The food came out the fastest I've ever! The waiter Matt took our order and within 7 or so minutes the food was on our table and hot and tasting homemade and SO good!!! I feel awful for the staff... Customers can be so rude!!! They have signs posted apologizing for the wait as they are understaffed. While we were waiting for a table, there were 7 groups that were told it was going to be a 45 minute wait... Which on a Saturday night is typical anywhere! They would get upset and leave. The host, Raul, was super friendly! He was greeting every customer with a smile and being super polite, even to the rude people. He was also answering the phone and helping the servers with taking food to the tables. Our waitress was doing her best to keep up with all the tables she had. This location is connected to the adjacent hotel. We saw there was decent ratings on Yelp and were in the mood for mexican food. We were greeted right when we walked in with friendly smiles from all the staff. They really make you feel welcome. They were not that busy which was surprising. I ordered the Sweet Pork Burrito with White Sauce. You could order a variety of sauces but the waitress recommended the white so I went with it. It was very tasty. The pork was sweet, just the way I like it, and the white sauce was a good compliment. The burrito came with rice and beans as well. My husband liked his meal as well. WOW & YUMM! Food overall is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable too! Watch out for the grilled jalapenos, spicy. The sauted peppers are phenomenal and seasoned perfectly. Their homemade refried beans, delish. (Rice could use some perfecting). Jalapeno poppers, highly recommend. Sweet pork could not have been complimented better than with the recommended white sauce. We had a bit of a wait tonight for our first visit. We try to judge some on the service, but most on the food. This is our visit and though the Green Iguana is located in a Red Lion Hotel, we don't seem too phased. The host was nice and the estimate to be seated was shorter than expected. We are sitting at a booth with a nice view of the sitting area. The lighting is a little obtrusive and it would be nice if they used soft white rather than cool lighting or a dimmer switch. The decorations are less than creative. My wife and I decided on the Shrimp Enchiladas. They would not swap corn tortillas for flour tortillas. Well, I'm changing my preliminary 4 star review to 5. Our dishes were great, with plenty of sour cream, avocado and cheese. I suspect that all the seafood plates are good. Thanks for a nice, tasty evening. read more

Right as we sat down, i ordered a round of tequila shots for all 7 of us - and thats when the party started! The food was good! The prices were good! The service was good! The drinks were good! ( if you like very spicy salsa, ask Joolio for some of his habanero sauce - its amazing!)
