I stumbled across this place just on a brief scroll of Instagram. I'm a huge fan of Mexican and this place definitely delivered for me. Literally 2 days in a row I went and each time was delighful. My waitress Hailey was awesome super welcoming from the start to finish. Food Menu: * The menu was a smaller menu than normal since covid19. Though limited I still was able to find some good items. I selected the taco trio chicken, pork, and steak all were delicious. They have a delicious sweet corn dish which was good. Drink Menu: * Tequila, Tequila, tequila lol thats all I wanted. I enjoyed 2 house margaritas with a added on flavor for an additional dollar. The drinks were really good and can be purchased in a variety of sizes. I'm sure its other items offered but my eyes went straight for the gold. Covid Regulations: Indoor and outdoor seating is offered. Inside the seating took a while wait was said to be over 1 hr and 15 mins but only took 20 mintues. Outside is first come first served. The seats are separated keeping the 6ft guidelines in mind. The staff (my hostess) wore a mask which made me super happy. Decor: Decor in this place is super cute. Very artistic like. Beautiful color pops everywhere. A super famous lime green payphone with a super catchy and social media worthy quote. The bar had beautiful graffiti like paintings inside along with the main dining area wall as well. Where do I start...me and 4 of my coworkers came here after work and were advised there was a happy hour...say less...tuber all got 3 tacos for $10 and demolished them all...as for me...I had the birria...it was hot and crispy and full of flavor...the consume could have used some salt but I prefer my food salty...the do have a little kick to them but it's barely noticeable...oh...I almost forgot about the sangarita...this drink is sweet and tangy and cool...a PERFECT balance...and our waitress...Lawson...I hope she only has great hair days for the rest of her life...truly the sweetest person I've ever met...10/10 I would recommend...it IS a tad loud in here..if they turned the music down just 2-3 notches...it'll be perfect read more

Why 4 stars? Because it was about time I visited one of the motherships. --- --- --- I'm a huge fan of Ciccio's fast casual spots like Fresh Kitchen and Taco Dirty, but had never been to Green Lemon despite it being one of the OG's of the Ciccio Restaurant Group and around for as long as I can remember. It definitely felt like a sit-down version of Taco Dirty, in terms of the menu options. We started off with Trio Dip, which I think all Mexican/Tex-Mex style restaurants should have. It's always such a tough call to decide between queso and guac, so an option where you get both is so rad. Both the guac and queso were good, not great, but I happily oscillated between both. My wife and I shared the fajita bowl and the quesadillas. I thought the fajita bowl was the highlight of the two, while the quesadilla was alright. The wife and our 1-year old loved it. We thought we were done there, but our server offered us a free serving of churros and ice cream because it was our first time in, which was a lovely touch. The churros were great! We visited for around 5:20 on March 14th and despite COVID-19 fears, this place was packed. We actually had about a 25 minute wait for a table. I assume this will be one of the last nights for a while where this is the case, but good for Green Lemon to have such a crazy customer base. read more

Went here today for lunch, tacos were cold the hard taco shells were so hard I could not eat. French fries were hot but that was it. Tacos were so dry and No sauces available at all. No sour cream offered either. The highlight of the visit was the French fries because they were hot but then they came out with French's ketchup. Really , I didn't even know they made ketchup. Please splurge on Hienz if you can't make a good taco. Very disappointing! Also place is very dirty . Men's room ceiling still has blue tape from painting ceiling which looks like it's been years sitting up there. Walls dirty, vents, floor was disgusting! Obviously management or owners don't do inspections. Ceiling in restaurant has exposed wood on ceiling which I find strange and wonder where the health department is. Green Lemon is the BEST Taco Tuesday in Tampa! I come here religiously with my small group of friends on Tuesday evenings and it's always such a fun time. The food is great, atmosphere is always super fun, while the staff is attentive and lively. On Tuesdays they have a taco specials where all their tacos are $2. They have margaritas specials ranging from $8 for a House Marg to $12 for a top shelf marg. All really good too! Highly recommend this place. If you plan on going to a Taco Tuesday, I recommend going early as possible because by 5:30 (to basically close) they are on hour plus waits. It is worth it, but can sometimes be long if you're with a big party! read more

Chips/Salsa: Typically, I don't care for chips/salsa; I will usually only eat it because I'm hungry & it's around & I have no discipline. The seasoning they put on their chips is what sets their chips/salsa apart from that usual experience. I was not just eating because it was in front of me as I waited for my food; I was actually enjoying it. Habanero Bowl: The meat is tender, the ingredients are balanced and it is spicy enough to feel it but not so much that you cannot enjoy. The description said something like "queso crumbles" so I thought it wouldn't have a lot of cheese; however, it had more than crumbles (a positive for me, but something to consider if you feel differently about cheese). Service was great, friendly and fast for a weekday lunch. The decoration of the inside beautiful, colorful, and lively. It made me happy to sit in the restaurant and adds to the relaxed atmosphere. There are some tvs in the restaurant (not a lot like a sports bar, but some) so it may be a different vibe during major sporting events. Parking: I parked across the street from the restaurant in a lot available for free, but getting a spot depends on the timing, your karma and your luck that day. We don't live near SoHo so this restaurant hadn't been on our regular radar. We spent New Year's Day going for a walk on Bayshore Blvd and were thrilled to find that Green Lemon was open for brunch. They had live music and plenty of brunch cocktails available from which to choose. We didn't order any, but the Bloody Mary was a VERY popular choice around us. Hair of the dog perhaps? We were doing our best to eat clean. I had zero difficulty finding a dish to fit into my resolutions. I ordered a breakfast bowl with a house blend of greens and saved the carbs by using greens as my base. I ordered El Ordan Carnitas Huervos. The pork and jalapeños really gave me a great jump start to my day. Hubby ordered a breakfast wrap which looked seriously savory. I can't do the tortillas (carbs ‍). But it was huge!!! They were very crowded and it was New Year's Day. We had to wait a bit for our iced tea so the server comped that for us. We weren't even annoyed, but that goes to show you that they do pay attention to the details. It was a nice surprise. The couple behind us had kids that were jumping around quite a bit. It didn't bother us, but in their family chaos, the guy spilled his Bloody Mary. He had not seen the server put it on the table and he flat out knocked it over. Bloody mess indeed. The server jumped to action and worked on a replacement drink and the manager was right on top of the situation, cleaning the booth. Both employees behaved as if they had been at fault. They were not. It was totally a customer mistake, but the staff handled it in a very gracious and hospitable manner. That's serious quality and continuity training in action. It seems to be a relatively mixed crowd. There were plenty of families represented, and plenty of couples too. I can imagine this is a great Sunday spot for regulars. We were happy with the large menu and the reasonable prices. Honestly, it's cheaper than most brunch type places we've tried. The amount of food you get for the price is alone, worth the drive. I didn't ask for the name of the guy playing guitar, but he was phenomenal. I had my back to him and didn't realize it was LIVE music until I stood up leave. He had started after we were seated. The food is fresh and colorful, the prices worth cheering about. The atmosphere is vibrant and eclectic. It's a MUST if you are dining in South Tampa. Parking in the lot next door is available for customers. That's a plus. I can't wait to get back and check out the night vibe. For that, we may take an Uber. read more

My favorite nachos and margaritas are from green lemon! You have to go on taco Tuesday because tacos are $2 all day. The nachos are always hot, and crunchy, the melted cheese has the best flavor ever. The guac is always fresh, and you can choose options between bowls, tacos or nachos. I like frozen margaritas a lot, which I think these are the best I've tried in Tampa. These margaritas are super frozen and cold, which is amazing. Our server was friendly and efficient. She was quick to top up water and get extra plates etc. without us having to ask. Great customer service. Can't beat the price on taco Tuesday. We all got a bunch of different tacos for only $2 each and they're very generous in size. The chips and dips we stated with were delicious. Flavorful salsa and guac and the queso was a good. If all the tacos tasted like the KFT, this would be a 5 stars review. So much flavor and lots of chicken! The tuna was a little disappointing, especially as someone recommended that one to me. One of the best places in Tampa that have the best margaritas and tacos! This is one of the go to places for my girls and I when we are having a girls night. They always have a fun vibe with a DJ and amazing happy hour prices. We always start off with the margaritas and the trip dip! I personally love the queso and salsa the best! The guac is good, but I have had better. The margaritas - I have never been disappointed. I have every single one here and since I love spicy I always recommend the caliente Margarita. It's got just enough spice to it and it tastes amazing. So if you love spicy - Caliente is the one for you. For meals, I always get tacos. My favorite is the asada. They cook the steak perfect and the flavors just go so well together. Although, my friends do order the fiesta bowls and they swear by them. Green Lemon will always be a Ciccio group favorite of mine. Went to dine in for the first time since the pandemic and had a great time on their very last taco Tuesday. Although, sad it won't be the same vibe I will still return for the regular restaurant and food. I'm never had anything bad here, my food always comes quick, hot and fresh. This is a nice place to visit but I will warn you that it gets super packed. I went on a Friday around 5:00. All tables were full but they do have a first come first serve bar area so I was able to sit there. My server was very fast and attentive. He checked on me frequently. My food came out fresh and hot. I got the 3 taco happy hour special with the fish taco, shrimp taco and Buffalo chicken taco, it was very good. I also had a sangria which I loved. Highly recommend especially during happy hour. Omg, absolutely amazing! The restaurant is extremely welcoming and the servers are very inviting. I came for happy hour/early dinner (6 pm). I found parking easily, but as I was leaving the parking lot was completely full. My waitress was incredibly kind, she asked if I had ever been there and went over menu. The tacos were terrible. Service was great, Margaritas were good. The seared tuna taco had large chunks of tuna which were fishy tasting and lacked flavor. Same thing with the Mahi. At the very least let's try to get fresh fish or maybe don't serve the old fish from the back of the fridge. Carne asada was bland and chewy. The Cerdo taco was the only taco that was mildly pleasant to eat but most likely because it was drenched in sauce. If you're coming for the drinks and atmosphere then you've found your place. What a party! Me and my Tampa friends were def the "parents" in this Saturday night escapade, and a great time had by all. The host, Tyler (broken arm) was fun to banter with, and accurate with the wait time. Nevertheless, we hung out at the bar. As a non-tequila drinker attending green lemon for happy hour was not the best idea. However, they had modelo which I'm more than happy with. We came for the last hour of happy hour and then stayed for another 2 hours after, ordering more drinks and talking! My friend like Green Lemon for Tuesday Taco. I can see this is a hip place due to the atmosphere of the place. Many young people love this because affordable food with booze. There are few things that the restaurant is just an average. Number one is wait for table. Number two is wait for the food. Number three is very tire server. Number four is in experience hostess. All this actually give them 2.5 stars. Wait for table is 45 minutes, wait for the food after order is 25 minutes, waitress is beat up and tired. Not sure how many table they have to take care. Hostess tell you 30 to 45 minutes wait is definitely 45 minutes. They need to clean up the table sooner and allow to clear the queue wait line. Since you have to wait for the food, it make wait line longer. One thing they can improve dramatically is make sure each order come out quickly which will reduce the wait. It definitely effects the tip because of the wait and cause the waitress look tired and not happy. Kitchen crew definitely need to come out the food more efficient. Really love going to this place! They have 4 different really good Margarita options. Their Taco Trio is my favorite thing to get and KFT/Shia LaBeef are a must. Wait can be a little long sometimes, but small place and busy is good they do turn tables pretty well and have plenty of support staff most times, speaking of which, service is usually pretty solid all around. Also, their chips and salsa are amazing especially when the chips are hot/fresh. Often have a DJ, so not the quietest but definitely a vibe for sure.
