I was incredibly happy with Mimi and the overall service! That was one of the best massages I've ever had. I was worried because of the reviews, but it turned out better than anything I expected and I get A LOT of massages. I would recommend giving it a try. My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a shot since it was close by and the pricing was fair. The pricing for a 60 mins body massage is $50. When we got there, the front desk lady was also one of the masseuse. She walked me to my room and I waited about 15 minutes before she came in and started my massage. I thought she did a decent job and she was friendly, however, my massage was constantly interrupted whenever a customer walked in. I mean, I get it, they're short staff and they're doing the best they can, but at the same time, I'm thinking to myself "are you going to give me additional minutes to my massage". At the end of the massage, I was actually shorted 10 minutes. I wasn't too happy with that but I thought maybe it was a one time thing. Today, we came again to give it another try. There was an available time at 5:30 and 5:45. My boyfriend let me go first and my masseuse didn't come in until 5:35, however, she finished at 6:25. Halfway through my massage, I noticed my boyfriend was still waiting for his masseuse. The masseuses had a miscommunication and my boyfriends masseuse didn't know there was someone waiting for her and took in another client. She had to tell the client to come back in 30 minutes and then she finally began on my boyfriends massage by 6:00. Anyways, after I was done with my massage, I decided to only tip 15% since I didn't get my full hour and she did not look too pleased. So I guess it's a common thing here for them to short their customers 10 minutes. One last thing, their 90 mins body massage is $90. (Their "60 mins" body massage cost $50). Thats almost the full cost for an additional 30 minutes. I thought that did not make sense and is not worth it. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

I came because I wanted to try out a massage place with an easier parking situation. The lady asked me to pay in advance. There is a $2 upcharge for using a card. There is a little chart on the table that reads to tip $20 for "good" and - I think - $25 for "very good." I paid with a card and ended up just adding my tip to it, much to my regret. There is also a sign that reads "No refunds." I should have read the warning signs and walked out. There was a private room for the 1-hour body massage ($55). The massage started out OK. There was a little fan that I guess was producing white noise, but no other relaxing sounds or anything to note. A little over 40 minutes into the massage, someone else walked into the store. The lady walked out (I don't remember seeing any other worker there, so maybe understandable?) and came back after a few minutes. My guess is that she told the other customer to go into a room. I checked the time when she left the room and when she came back. After she returned, her massage became much more perfunctory. Then, with over 10 minutes still left in my hour massage, she said she was finished! She asked if I wanted hot water or cold. I asked for hot water, and she gave me water that was not even room temperature. Then I guess she went into the room with the other customer, because I didn't see her at all as I was leaving. To top it all off, she had a little "check-in time" and "check-out time" chart on the front desk. I wrote in the time that I checked in, and she had written in that I checked out after the full hour! Last week was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have an appointment, but a very nice woman named Candy saw me right away and I got a fantastic deep tissue massage for only $55. It is definitely no-frills, but a great value. I am suspicious of the reviews that say this place is dirty (it is spotless and smells wonderful) or that they demand payment upfront (they didn't with me). Sadly, this spa has been besieged by bad rumors of late - they were temporarily closed in December 2015 after a customer claimed he'd been offered a 'happy ending'... but after an investigation, the county deemed Green Spa was on the up-and-up. She knew where I needed the most work. Then a gentleman comes into the store and the lady leaves my room to attend to him. I started getting massage treatments from Candy back when she was working in Southbay and I was so disappointed when she moved. I have seen many massage therapists, but none of them are able to relieve my aches and pains the way that Candy does. She really knows what she's doing and massages all the right trigger points. I have a lot of neck and shoulder pain and she is able to make the pain disappear with her magical hands. She puts her heart into what she does and has a very positive energy about her. Based on technique alone I give Green Spa a 1.5 but rounded to a two to be generous Looking for somewhere to relax, and friend and I stopped in for the one hour foot massage that includes a shoulder and neck massage. So disappointed, even before the treatment began but trying not to be a diva, here's how this played out: Walked in to the smell of the two employees/owners lunch No ambient music playing, eery silence besides the employees speaking to each other in another language. Confirmed the foot massage, and was asked to pay up front, weird but OK, used my CC They seated us and took about 5 minutes to return with the tubs of water from the back. Woman massaged me, and about 5 min. after the man started on my friend The techniques were perfunctory and brisk- no long stroking motions to be found When told to roll over on to my stomach there was no face shield in place, but she insisted that I rest my face in the hole. After about 2 minutes, she had me lift up my face and then put a napkin with a face hole cut out in the opening. She announced that my massage was done and walked off. I got up and turned around to get my shoes on and the man announced that he was now done with my friend even though she had barely just turned over for her back rub. There was no, thank you. Can we get you some water? Or removing the extra pillows and foot stools used during the ordeal- so we just crawled out of the wreckage ready to leave- I mean we already paid- right? Walking to the door the woman starts yelling at us that we need to pay tip! "I did your feet, you need to pay me!"I was so startled by her request and didn't even register what she was so angry about- I had already paid, and when she ran my card there was no place to even add a tip, had I wanted to. I showed her the receipt and that there was no line for tip and that I did not carry cash. She offered to run my CC again! I shook my head at her and pointed out that they should have a sign that at least asks for cash tips. Have never been treated so rudely by someone running a business.
