Just got off an office diet challenge where we ate no carbs for three months and after our diet…read morechallenge the entire office knew we wanted to LIL G'S!! Nothing like eating huge sandwiches and the best pizza around! Our office orders takeout frequently from little g's and we absolutely love it here! We usually have place our order a few days in advance to secure our order for the day we want. They do run out fast so it is safer to place the order in advance too. You can order online but after a certain amount it requires you to phone in your order. I didn't grab a picture of everyone's food but this was the two sandwiches I got! The chicken parm is incredible stacked with 3-4 pieces of chicken parm and their red sauce with mozzarella served hot. The Italian has three different meat with cheese and lettuce and bell peppers served cold. These were served with a different grained bread which was a lil different than what we are used to but still really great! Service here is always great and food is always mind blowing with their large portions and fresh ingredients!

After looking over the menu options, we stood waiting for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us or took our order. The manager seemed rude and unwelcoming, which immediately set a negative tone for the visit. Looking back we should have trusted our first impression, but we decided to give it a chance and see what the hype was about. We each ordered a slice of pizza and took it outside to eat. After eating , we walked past the glass wall of the cafe and I noticed the manager handling and mixing flour with his bare hands, with the flour mixture covering his hands and forearms. I didn't expect to see food prep without disposable gloves and it made me uncomfortable. The pizza itself didn't make up for the experience. At around $22 per slice, I was expecting something exceptional or life-changing, instead, it was pretty underwhelming. The flavor, texture, and overall quality just didn't justify the premium price. Between the unfriendly service, concerns about food handling, and the disappointing pizza, I don't feel the experience was worth the cost of overpriced slices of pizza and I will not be returning nor will I recommend Little G Cafe to others. There are plenty of other pizza spots in Honolulu, including Boston's Pizza, that offer better value and a much more welcoming atmosphere.

"A bottle of red? A bottle of white? It all depends upon your appetite."…read more A bottle of green? Huh? Not bottles of wine, but 16-oz. plastic containers of vintage salsa roja, verde, and queso blanco. Queso blanco is especially hard to find here in Hawaii. A good one? Fuhgeddahboutit. That is until Yelper Mary D. turned me on to Botanas Fajardo. Angel makes a VERY good one. For anything you can think of that goes well with a soft, pepper jack-like-tasting cheese. Use it as a spread, a dip, a drizzle. With a bag of Angel's fresh-made, lightly salted tortilla chips, and her queso and salsa's, make your own Mexican flag (green, white, and red) nachos. Need a little more spice in your life? Angel has 1-oz. "spice shots" for $1. Be very careful with the stuff. It's reportedly made with the infamous ghost pepper. Yes, that of the 1+ million Scoville heat units. I mixed just the tip of a teaspoon of the stuff into about 4 teaspoons of the red salsa, and my taste buds discovered a sixth taste---salty, sweet, sour, bitter, umami, and "aiyee!" There's an Angel in the Aliamanu area, and she's making up some snacks that are absolutely heavenly! Check out Botanas Fajardo on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/botanasfajardo?fref=ts

OMG! Welcome home. You've finally found it…read more We found this place by accident. Now we are hooked. They have always been prompt and ready for me. They were also understanding when we were late. For military they travel to bases! The queso is to die for. The last batch I picked up and stopped at a park down the road and "tasted" it. It was SO good we ate half. No other place on island (and I've tried a ton) have real white queso and not Kraft cheese. The queso can last up to a week. Just not in my house. It's addicting. The salsa rosa is perfect for everything! Chips, tacos, and Cooking! Perfect. It's mild but still has a kick. No need for me to add the spice shot. On that note. If you need more than a kick they sell spice shots to kick it up a notch. Over all the salsa rosa is not too chunky and it's not to watery. It is great chip or scoop consistency. Both of these are so good I've bought them as gifts. We jokingly called it black market salsa. Worth going to jail for. I'm not a fan of the salsa verde. My family loves it I just don't. For me it's missing something. Still great, I'm just not in love. Finally the chips are just ok. Though they are fresh made. They are not over salted. The price is fair. I just prefer over salted blue corn chips. We will be back with cash in hand. Cash only!

Metered parking only. Mainly a takeout place, but there are tables outside to enjoy your food. I've been here quite a number of times, and I've tried all their wraps! I remember my first time I thought the romaine lettuce were chopped too big making it difficult to eat. I guess they can read minds because that was the only time! Each wrap is good and unique in its own way. All the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Generous and balanced portions, and neatly and beautifully wrapped. My favorite is Joyce's Club wrap because it has the most things! Turkey, ham, cheese, bacon, avocado, sprouts, tomato, and garlic aioli in a spinach wrap. The ABC wrap - if you want something simple. Chicken Salad Wrap is a surprised with nice sweetness from the grapes and texture from the pecans. Chicken Caesar wrap hits all the right flavors. Applewood Bacon Tuna melt wrap is good, but one note. Missing some brightness. Chipotle Chicken wrap is my least favorite. On the dry side. Defintely needs a sauce. There's also a weekly special Jumbo Shrimp Salad wrap. This one is very good. Packed with plump, crunchy, flavorful shrimp. Also, its Portuguese Kale Soup is very good too, and packed with a surprising punch of flavor and spice. The Strawberry Chicken Salad is a favorite, and quite popular amongst my co-workers as well. It's an excellent balance of sweet, savory, and sour. Make this a wrap too! Or create a strawberry balsamic jam for the Chipotle Chicken wrap? Overall, Humi Deli & Juice is definitely a top place to grab food that's clean, fresh, healthy, handled with care, and well prepared. The employees there are super friendly. It's too bad the prices keep creeping higher and higher over the years where it doesn't feel it's worth it to go (but I can say the same for many Downtown places).
