I have been trying to eat a Slow Carb Diet so I figured I would see what GTG has for me. Not only do they have a Keto/Paleo menu but I found this perfectly delicious and filling salad on the regular menu. It is the Thai Salad with chicken. I didn't have to say "hold the wonton strips" or "no noodles" because it doesn't come with those. Instead it is a perfect balance of fancy greens, edamame, purple cabbage, carrot, peanuts and some things I forgot. And a protein of course. The dressing is Thai peanut which probably has sugar in it but I am not going to tell. Such a perfect salad. I don't think I could make this at home this good. read more

We have tried the ranch wrap and Thai wrap and teriyaki chicken bowl. They are all delicious! I believe the wraps come with a chipotle tortilla which is a bit spicy for me. However, you can switch the tortilla! The bowl was actually my favorite so far very flavorful and the teriyaki sauce isn't that sweet. I just recommended this place to my cousin. We came here twice, for dinner and breakfast--it was fantastic both times! As someone who is gluten-intolerant, it is always a breath of fresh air to see a clear and concise menu with GF marked. I've eaten here about 3-4 times. Online order today. Arrived around 12:30pm and it wasn't too crowded. There were about 3 takeout orders waiting to be picked up and 2 people in line. There were 3 people working behind the counter taking and preparing orders. When I arrived to pick up my order I did a quick check and noticed they forgot the sauce for my wife's bowl. I got this corrected and went home. When I got home I noticed they gave me the wrong melt. First the parking is terrible here because they share the lot with Vons and no spots are designated for them not even for pick up or curbside... so spent a good fifteen minutes trying to find parking circling the lot like 5 times. Food: I usually frequent the other location in Huntington Beach for lunch, but it was time that I tried my local GTG. The food here is pretty good across the board, they offer some unique taste, and the food feels more homemade that your usual dining options. Some of my favorite things to order are the melts (no cheese) including the pulled pork and the chicken and bacon with chimichurri. The bowls are kind of like something you can get at Chipotle, but with fresh ingredients and better proteins. Location: Parking can be tricky sometimes, but there is plenty of parking that you wouldn't have to walk too far if you cannot find somewhere to park right in front. It is located at the end of a shopping center so it is not right in the middle of all the action. Inside there is plenty of seating and there is even an outdoor patio. Chimichurri bowl quality has declined :( I always get the chimichurri chicken bowl here. I used to CRAVE this bowl because I loved it so much, it was so delicious!!! The rewards system is also worth signing up for. I recommend the chimichango bowl. It is my favorite item on menu. You can get it with rice or a mixed greens option if you are looking to cut out extra carbs. Recently I have noticed that they stopped playing music in the restaurant. I was highly disappointed with the food here. I tried to call ahead for a pick up order but it wasn't worth it. First an employee hung up on me after they had put me on hold. Then I found a big piece of meat in my tofu bowl. I'm vegetarian... Tofu Thai bowl - no flavor, no sauce Tofu Bbq Bowl - better with the flavor but still dry, not enough sauce. Kids tofu bowl - no flavor, no sauce, my child didn't even eat it. The rice was undercooked and the tofu was chewy/over cooked. Tofu was too dry and over cooked, and basically the whole bowl was dry and there was no sauce. If they are putting sauce or flavor in these bowls, I doubt it's even a spoon of it. They should add extra sauce on the side. I am honestly highly disappointed as I read the reviews and wanted to like this place, but the results and outcome did not even come close to what others are saying about these dishes. read more

I ordered the BBQ Crispy Tofu Bowl. Very hearty and healthy. Inside the bowl: brown rice, crispy tofu (of course lol), black beans, avocado, edamame, shredded carrots & shredded purple cabbage, and corn. The bowl is big enough to save half for later (but my greedy behind ate it all in one sitting lol). Although this is the only tofu bowl on the menu, any of the meats in the other bowls can be substituted for tofu. I ordered the kids chicken & rice bowl for my children. Their bowl came with rice, chicken, cheese and 2 choices of veggies. They have a lot of veggie options on their menu. My kids and I enjoyed our bowls. Food is reasonably priced. My bowl was $8.25 and their bowl was $5.50...Definitely want to come back if I'm ever in the area again. read more

This a nice place with good food which offers vegetarian options. The music can be a little loud sometimes but it's generally good. We went there yesterday and noticed they had high chairs for kids which I really appreciated. When I had to change my daughter's diaper however, I had to struggle because they don't have a changing table. They have plenty of room for it in a nice gender neutral restroom (sometimes dads have to do the changing) so I don't think it would be something difficult for them to put yet would make a world of a difference to families with small kids. I've been eating at Green Tomato Grill in Brea for the past 4 years since being diagnosed with Celiacs disease and developing a wheat allergy.
