    Yummy yummy worth it. Love supporting local business it's delicious please come here so many goodies and desserts. I'll definitely be back to try the sausage breakfast and the turkey pesto!

    Had a great lunch at the Indian restaurant next door, so I thought I treat myself to a midday coffee and cookies. Ordered their large oat latte (6.75$) and two very small cookies (one bite)(5$ and 6$) total came out to be 18$+ 15% tip. Shared one cookie with my coworker, we both are unimpressed and for the price point, will sure not give it another try. Note there are no price anywhere in their bakery display or labeling of the contents. We have to second guess it was some sort of sugar cookies with jam. Asking the worker, they seem to be hesitant of exactly what it was but did assure us that it was delicious. The oat latte I got was not any good, coffee was lacking and mellow taste of oat was more dominant. Two stars (instead of one) because the bakery is vegan/gluten/nuts/dairy free, I do know a few friends and will recommend it to them but I can't justify the price/taste personally.

    It's impressive how their foods contain none of the most common allergens. The pastries taste decent, but I find most of it tasteless. I tried every flavored tea cookie and the only ones that got a speck of taste were the lavender and early gray. The cookies were surpassingly soft but it also had a weird taste and it felt like biting down on a sugar cube. Would I get it again? Definitely. They may not be the best cookies in the world but it's simplicity and uniqueness is enough to crave more. Except, I wouldn't pay $1.50 a piece and it's mainly the price that's preventing me from coming back. There's minimum seating and the inside is dim, so take out is more common. I appreciate an establishment like this but if you don't have any allergies it's not worth going out of your way for.

    Loved this allergy friendly bakery!! The bakery is a cozy little gem for anyone that has food allergies or just wants a sweet treat/ coffee. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable about all ingredients. I got a latte and we got a variety of baked goods as well as a savory breakfast sandwich. Everything was tasty and we even went back to get some items to take home. Best selection will be earlier in the day. We got there about 20-30 minutes after they opened and had everything to choose from.

    so glad this spot exists! i was headed to dinner with friends, one of whom has severe peanut allergies that can tend to make him understandably fearful of tree nuts and general food cross-contamination. this spot was conveniently near the bus i had to take, so i stopped in to grab desserts. their no nutter butters were a huge hit, and i loved that they offered to put the sticker with the ingredients on the package. that allowed everyone to fully enjoy and indulge in these chickpea cookies that were shockingly nut butter-y! so good. i also grabbed the rest of the freshly baked cookies they had in the display case, and all were really delicious. such kind service, too. thank you!

    Disclaimer: This is a review purely based on my experience of them on tgtg. They might be actually good at the store but I don't know. I got a surprised bag from them on tgtg. It was like $6. They claimed the items were worth $13. Guess what the items were? A very tiny cupcake and 2 tiny cookies. And they were super stale as well. What's the point of putting them on tgtg when I could actually buy these with like $6? Not to mention they don't even taste good. This tgtg experience really left me a bad taste in my mouth. If their intention was to have people have a taste of their bakery, they were doing a terrible job. If they wanted to make every single dollar out of their day old bakery and be greedy, they were doing a fantastic job then.

    Such a cute spot! I felt welcomed the moment I walked in, and the staff smiled at me. I was able to indulge in my first ever gluten free moon cake (they had ube and red bean flavor available), and snack on some delightful tea cookies. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg made from mung bean that I enjoyed. The woman/BIPOC owner has a daughter that grew up with a wide array of allergies, which inspired her to open this bakery/restaurant. Since the entire facility is not only GF/ DF, but free of many allergens - I felt very comfortable eating here. A few patrons came in while I was eating here to pick up a pre-ordered cake. Definitely the perfect spot to pre-order a cake for your friend with allergies!

    Gluten free bakery! Walked here on our way to seeing the Space Needle on recommendation from a gf blogger. Got there really late in the day right before closing so selection was minimal (but fine). I chose a piece of pumpkin bread which was moist and spicy and an oatmeal raisin Whoopie sandwich with cream in it. That thing was so soft and perfect, I was kind of full but couldn't stop eating it on the way to the Space Needle. So good. Doesn't taste or feel gluten free, great textures. Anyone would love this place

    Great service! The sweet person behind the counter helped us with everything, and we left with a big smile on our faces. Would absolutely recommend. Also, the dessert was really good! Got a chocolate chip cookie and some small button-y things (forgot the name). Excellent stuff.

    TL;DR: Food: spectacular Drink: OK Ambiance: dive beer meets bakery Value: expensive We've been walking by Askatu it seems like forever. We're vegan, and I've been looking to get vegan mooncakes, so I contacted them via IG, and they said that during the mooncake season they generally have them available. So we stopped by. That day they had ube mooncakes. These are small Asian pastries -- maybe 4-inches wide? Full disclosure, I have never had these before, but these things were AMAZING. Just absolutely AMAZING. I figured they would be good (how can pastries NOT be good?), but these were full of flavor. My wife, who is much more critical than I am as far as baked goods go, also commented how great they are. We ate at the bakery. The bakery is a little hole in the wall. A handful of tables in various states of operability. It's a fun vibe -- think dive bar meets bakery. The person working the counter was super friendly. The drinks are average. My wife had a latte and I had a matcha tea. They're not bad mind you, just not anything memorable. Value: for two mooncakes, a latte, and a matcha tea, it came to just under $40 with 25% tip. The mooncakes themselves were $10 each. We live in Seattle, so I expect things to be expensive, but even I thought this was on the high side. YMMV. One thing that detracts is that they have a transparent shower curtain between you and the cash register, with a giant hole cut out. Presumably this was installed in early pandemic days, and frankly, knowing what is known now about Covid, this eyesore just should be removed. It doesn't extend all the way to the ceiling (there's at least a four or five foot gap above); there's a giant hole cut out in the middle so you can access the credit card terminal; etc. Therefore, there's no way it does anything to spread transmission of Covid. I respect people who are concerned about transmission, but it doesn't help anyone to have such ineffective measures. Overall, I like this place.

    The ice cream macaron sandwiches were really great. I had the mango and it tastes very good and well balanced. Highly recommend.

Through several visits: Baguette, Large ($7.95) - Great baguette with bubbling golden exterior complete with the perfectly baked crust even after waiting 3 hours before cutting in and eating. The interior has the perfect moisture level and is delightfully soft and chewy. The taste overall has a deep developed flavor. This is a great baguette. The only problem - the price. I can find ones for half the price that are maybe 80% as good as this one. (5/5) Seasonal Biscuit ($4.50) - This biscuit definitely isn't Southern-style. It's more of a drop biscuit, combining a relatively soft and tender interior with a nice exterior crust, without any flakiness or layering. The interior is almost cake-like in texture and crumb, and is plenty moist. They add plenty of fresh black pepper inside. It's distributed very evenly, giving a peppery bite with every mouthful. Parmesan is added to the top of the biscuit before baking, giving plenty of umami and richness but only on the upper layer. (4/5) Green Vinaigrette Cafeteria Style Pizza ($6.25) - The pizza is kept under a warming lamp, so it starts getting a little dried out after I assume a couple of hours spent there. I do love the base though - it's focaccia-like giving a really crunchy dark golden brown crust underneath, which supports the toppings. The pizza slice has lots of structural integrity and doesn't flop over. There's a base of fragrant concentrated tomato paste-like flavor which is topped with a very even layer of cheese. Since it's warmed rather than freshly baked, the cheese starts congealing a bit. The cheese is peppered with parsley, garlic, and a bunch of mustard seeds, giving a special zing. The toppings go all the way to the sides of the pie, making it great for people who dislike crust. Even though it's cafeteria style pizza that's kept under heat lamps, I quite liked it. I wonder if I can get a really fresh slice if I get there right at 11AM when lunch starts. (5/5) Chocolate Croissant ($6.10) - Great lamination with a very aesthetic honeycomb pattern. Baked on the harder side, causing fantastic crispy flaky layers to flake off, but also creating a darker golden brown character that is on the verge of bitterness. Nicely buttery soft and chewy interior. Chocolate is a darker variety, probably somewhere around 70%, so it has a pleasing balanced sweetness and chocolate flavor. It's not typical baton, instead seems to be a section from a bar. Still warm and melty even through I didn't eat the croissant until ~30 minutes after purchasing. When cooled down further, some red fruity notes start appearing, so this seems to be be pretty high quality. (5/5) White Sourdough ($12.60) - Now this is a loaf of bread. Superb crust, probably 2 or 3 times as thick compared to competitors, creating a supreme crusty bite with a chew approaching a hard crunch with almost caramelized molasses notes on the bottom. The interior is moist and tender with a pleasing slight sourdough tang. It's a superb piece of craftsmanship. (5/5) Kouign Amann ($5.80) - This is another heavier bake with some acridity development on the top surface. Unlike many other bakeries where the kouign amann is basically a differently shaped croissant with sugar glaze, Sea Wolf's version feels more in line with tradition. The crumb is denser and richer, more like brioche. There's interesting black speckling inside which I believe is due to the inclusion of espresso powder given the mild coffee-like flavor. The crust is again baked hard, but it's lighter and not as flaky as the croissant. They sprinkle just a bit of salt on top of a very light caramelized sugar glaze. It's not very sweet and I didn't find it too salty unlike some other reviewers. (5/5) Plain Focaccia Slice ($4.80) - Good quality olive oil, some salt sprinkled on top to boost the flavors. Light and airy interior, but the exterior is a little wan, being more light golden brown and lacking some good crusty crisp especially on the fried bottom. Quite oily. (4/5) Sea Wolf gives out free sourdough starter, which can be requested from the cashier. Since picking it up several weeks ago, I've gone through several feed/bake cycles for making sourdough focaccia. I've visited Sea Wolf 3 or 4 times in the last month. That's a testament to how high quality their pastries and breads are. I think the only thing stopping me from visiting more is thanks to the starter I got from them fanning my baking instincts. I bake so much now that I don't have any need to buy their bread! Note: Sea Wolf charges a 3% credit card fee. This is not noted on their menu - it only appears in the POS right before paying. Butter Croissant (3.75/5): I'll admit I'm insanely picky with my croissants and I think Sea Wolf's is just okay. I want a stronger crisp on the outside, something that almost shatters and makes a mess when you bite in, but the inside has a nice chew. Kouign Amann (3.75/5): I had a really fantastic time with this my first time picking it up, they have almost a crunchy sugar caramel crust on the outside with super buttery pastry inside. Unfortunately, my second time picking this up ended up being a miss, just stale and much to dry. Cinnamon Roll (1/5): The raisins are a nice touch, but this was awfully dry. Even the caramelized crus on the outside couldn't save this and charging extra for cream cheese frosting on top of a dry dough is criminal.

Mine came absolutely drowning in syrup, and honestly, the flavor tasted pretty artificial and overpowering.
