Not only is the pizza amazing but all of the other dishes (especially the pasta and risotto ones) are spectacular. The prices are fair given the portion sizes you get. If you're looking for a solid Panini spot in Boston, you have to try Greenhouse Kitchen! I ordered it in for delivery. I've ordered in from Greenhouse Kitchen many times. They have a solid selection of Paninis, Subs, Salads, Wraps, Pizza, Risotto, and Fresh Pastas. There is truly something on the menu for everyone! Their appetizer menu could certainly use a refresh and more options. That is the one part of the menu lacking in selection and variety. My two favorites here are the Homemade Meatball Parmigiana & the Prosciutto Panini. The portion sizes are HUGE. One sub or panini is bigger than a footlong! You can easily split a sandwich with others- or save it for another meal. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the portion size. We typically order a Meatball Parmigiana & The Prosciutto Panini and split both. You will certainly be full after a meal here! The Paninis are toasted perfectly & the bread doesn't turn soggy, like many places. The Meatball sub was perfect. The sauce was just right, not too acidic. The gooey, melty cheese was just right. One of my all-time favorites from here. The Prosciutto Panini is also one of my favorites. However, I noticed they changed the prosciutto since last year. It is overly salty and not the same quality prosciutto they once served. It's also very tough, which should not be the case. Quality prosciutto is tender and melts in your mouth. This is why I had to knock off a star. Otherwise, they'd get a solid five from me. We ended up enjoying the Meatball sub and tossed the Prosciutto Panini. It was just way too salty and the new prosciutto they're using is why. I hope they'll go back to what they once used. It won't stop me from returning, I just wouldn't order it again. Everything is well packed and delivered piping hot. The bread is always toasted perfectly and holds up to the ingredients. The Meatball sub was perfect, no soggy bread. If you're looking for a solid Panini/Hot Sub spot with massive portions, be sure to give this place a try! I wonder how they even do it for the reasonable price charged! This may have just become my new favorite takeout spot in Brighton. The outside is unassuming, and despite living here for years I had never even heard of it, but randomly while looking for Cheap Eats on Yelp I discovered Greenhouse. I ordered two very simple things to try out the restaurant after reading the reviews: a slice of pizza and a large order of chicken tenders. Pro-tip order on their website and you get a free 20oz beverage as well! The slice of cheese was massive for only $2. The crust was thinner than I normally like but the sauce was sweet, dough had a nice bite, and there was a generous amount of cheese. I would 120% get the pizza from here again. Now onto the chicken tenders. As mentioned previously, they are actually chicken cutlets. I got the large order which had 9. They weren't super crispy but that might be because it was awhile before we got home. The breading was still delicious and the food was hot. My only complaint is that I ran out of honey mustard very quickly so I wish the large size came with two containers. Overall, I will definitely come back here and I've found my new spot for pizza take out. Great food at great prices. read more

Really nice place! Great food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. When we first came in we were greeted by the manager who I'm assuming is also the owner. Super nice guy! My girlfriend and I shared a large cheese pizza and eggplant parm with penne. Everything came out quickly and was piping hot. When we pulled our first slice, the cheese and sauce didn't flop off into the plate and stayed nice and crispy. The pizza also had a great crust; crispy on the outside and fluffy/chewy on the inside. I'm normally pretty picky when it comes to pasta and Greenhouse kitchen didn't disappoint! Not overcooked and had a delicious sauce with the perfect amount of caramelized toasty cheese on top. They also added roasted red peppers/spinach between the slices of breaded eggplant which I thought was a nice touch. No frills, reasonably priced, friendly service, and delicious food. This is my all time favorite restaurant in Brighton and I think it's time I leave a review after the lunch I just had (10/10). I'm not kidding when I say I've had better pasta dishes here than some north end restos. My favorite is the chicken parm, chicken Rosa sub breaded chicken, and the broccoli Alfredo. I've also had the shrimp scampi before which was great. The bread is fire and the chicken tendies are fresh and homemade. I just tried the Caesar wrap bc it was more affordable than any other lunch in the area and OH MY GOD IT WAS SO GOOD. I have been ordering from here for years and as a food snob, I can promise you this place is a hidden gem. Also, everyone who works here is so nice. I really really wanted to like this place! It's a small place, very local. The people are super nice and friendly. I asked a few questions about the food (is there any meat in the arancini? The answer is no) and the lady behind the counter answered them patiently. We also requested no plastic cutlery or plastic bag, and they happily complied. However, the food was just okay. I don't know about authenticity, but the risotto was nice-ish, though a tad salty. I liked the veggies in it - it had broccoli, tomato, mushroom and spinach. The arancini was not the best I've had - the outer covering was really hard. The kind that gets stuck in your teeth. The cheese inside was a little weird too. The bright side was their marinara sauce, tasty. Wish they had given more of it. Will I try them again? Yes, I'll give it another shot. The pizza here is good, but if you're just getting pizza it's not necessarily worth the wait. It took about 50 minutes to get 2 pizzas - we chose to pick up ourselves and the online site said 25 minutes, but we waited an additional 25 once there. It seems like they have so many delivery services plus their website plus calls plus walk-ins that they get in over their heads and/or the online wait times don't adjust properly. It could have been a one time deal too (cause I want to give the benefit of the doubt) but I overheard several people waiting with me complain it was normal. I wondered "why come back then" but many of the other people were delivery drivers as it turns out. One of my friends swears by this place so who knows, but the pizza was just good and we wished we had gone somewhere else. read more

My food was late, took over 30 minutes longer than the window given. Meatballs were cold and the caprese salad did not come with grilled flatbread as listed on the menu. You have not lived until you have had their fresh cut French fries. And they put a touch of Parmesan cheese on them. Amazing!! Alfredo and his team are new to Oak Square and if anyone thinks that they are like "di Napoli" who used to run the space, they should be kicked. Alfredo is one of the nicest guys and is putting every bit of fresh detail into his food. Ladies- the decor is lacking, but I would rather have good that isn't thawed from being frozen or full of chemicals you can't pronounce. I've been here twice, my wife and I ordered the ravioli, one with Alfredo sauce one with marinara... They were great. I don't even like ravioli, I just wanted to try the sauces, but I was incredibly surprised that I really really liked the ravioli! The Alfredo sauce was wonderful, the marinara was clearly homemade, you can taste the quality, maybe even some love mixed into it? The owner is very friendly, remembers your face and asks about how you enjoyed your last meal. It really has that small town feel in the big city. I'm sorry, but this place is so damn good. They have awesome meatballs, fresh pasta, garlic bread, blazing pizza. The have a stuffed eggplant dish that is delicious. Bolognese is great. I've ordered take out a bunch of times and it never disappoints. This place at the bottom of the hill is still TOP NOTCH. I go in with my dad for a quick, casual bite every few weeks and I can truly say I've never had a bad meal! Recent favorites have expended to include the beet and goat cheese salad (om nom nom), and the delightful Chicken Bianco, a lighter and veggier version of the classic chicken broccoli Alfredo. The sauce is creamy without being too dense, and the peppers give it a subtle veggie smokiness that is irresistible. Makes for excellent leftovers too. Still a 10/10! read more
