Ah. Incredible! What a fantastic spot. Truly delicious. Love their schwarma, and the pasta ain't bad either! Magnificent. Delicious. Delightful. Would recommend every time, especially to those visiting the City of Boston. :()

The sandwich is as massive as it looks!!! My partner and I order from Milano once a week--it's become our neighborhood favorite. The person at the front-of-house is always so kind and helpful, and the food is consistently delicious and comparatively very affordable!

I've been having a hankering for pizza recently these last couple of weeks, and was told by several others that this is a nice hidden gem to try out. The location is right on the Brookline/Brighton town line, and right between the Boston College and Boston university campuses. Parking is nonexistent if you plan to come and eat here, however, there is a Whole Foods parking lot just on the other side of the street. Now I'm not recommending you park there, as there are signs that say parking is for WholeFoods customers only, but if you are trying to just run in and grab your pizza.....(Again not condoning anything with regards to illegal parking) If you come before 5 PM, there are a lot of specials you can buy, such as two large cheese pizzas and a 2 liter Coke for $25, a pasta, pizza, soda, combination, and quite a few other options . I came past five, so I didn't get the special, which was fine, because I was actually interested specifically for two specialty pizzas. This is a family owned and operated establishment. The young lady who took my order, was very kind, and going over some of their specialties, and being that this was my first time here, she was very helpful in giving suggestions of what is popular here. lol I ordered the beef taco pizza and the Al Pacino. Being that I I had walked in, and did not order ahead by phone, I had to wait 20 minutes, which was fine. The Pizza was good, and the dough was a nice and even, with a crunchy bottom. I did wish that there was a little more topping on both pizzas, as there just seemed to be a lot of bare spots and really seemed lightly topped. If I do come back, I would be coming before 5pm to take advantage of the specials.

As I was on break during filming for my new movie I thought I would try to have dinner at the local pizza restaurant Milano . I was surprised because it tasted as good as the food in Parma Italy. Certainly the service was the best. It was actually better than a five star restaurant. The place is family owned I like that. The food and prices were perfect. The service even better. A beautiful girl at the counter and her younger sister cooking while their father watched over them perfection !

Delivery took a little longer than expected given distance from the location, but super satisfied with the outcome! MIT sub - chicken, mozz sticks, fries, marinara, & melted mozz cheese - was GIANT and really good (although how could it not be, you read those ingredients!). Small Chicken Parm Pizza was good as well - for $13 the two of us got 2 meals out of it - well worth it. Sizable pie and slices!

As with any good restaurant, its menu is well curated. While there is a nice outdoor dining area, given the heat of the day, we dined inside. Without reservations, we were accommodated at the bar. Reservations are a must. Bar seating is fine, there is ample space, not at all crowded. The bartender doubled as our waiter. He was very knowledge about the menu and personable. As an appetizer, my son and I split the chicken cutlet - which for some could be a meal. Delicious as always. As an entree, I ordered my favorite, the pizza margherita. My son ordered the same topped with sausage and prosciutto. There is no skimping on toppings here! The pizzas at "Si Cara", are a treat, very highly recommended. Made like in Naples, savory-sweet marinara, fresh mozzarella, topped with basil, delivered hot and ready to eat! Price to portion is excellent. Parking, it's the city, there is none. Great staff and welcoming environment.

This location has no service - its counter-ordering and the food was not the same. The pizza had barely any ricotta though we paid up for it, and the toppings were so scarce that it was mostly crust (more than usual Neapolitan). The garlic bread was the same price but half the size. It was cafe style seating, not restaurant, and just a weak version of the South End location that I do not recommend.

At first we were going to be seated at a booth towards the back of…read morethe restaurant, one member of our party was on crutches so we requested to be moved to a more comfortable table in the restaurant. Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave good food and wine recommendations from the menu. Our party really enjoyed the octopus as it was a tender bite with freshness coming from the peas/mint/cilantro. We also enjoyed the juicy meatballs with tomato sauce and again a hint of freshness and nuttiness coming from the pine nut pesto. We were not crazy about the striped bass crudo. It just seemed to fall flat flavor wise for me maybe not enough salt or acid to really counter balance the other fresh clean flavors in the dish. That being said it was not bad just underwhelming. The pizzas were great value price wise and the flavor combinations were unique but also worked well with one another. I liked how they didn't shy away from using spicy peppers on the Nduja pizza. The Fennel Sausage pizza had that fattiness from the sausage mixed with acidity from the cherry peppers and some creaminess/extra layer of flavor with the green garlic cream sauce. I somewhat wish the pizza bottom was baked slightly longer for a less floppy center but that's just personal preference. They clearly put a lot of effort into this pizza recipe. The only critique we would have is the service seemed a bit rushed. We would have enjoyed a bit more time between appetizers and the mains. Even the check came pretty shortly after we finished which would be understandable on a busy weekend night but this was a Tuesday evening and there seemed to be plenty of empty tables around us. Other than that would recommend for an elevated night out!

I got the after school snack cocktail which was very refreshing and paired nicely with the meal. We split the Bucatini Verde and it was so delicious. I couldn't even pinpoint the flavors I was eating but it was amazing. Fresh pasta and just really good flavor. We saw a dish online we wanted, but the server explained they use that pasta for different dishes and change out the sauce, so I'm glad I got to try it. We then split the Pepperoni + Vodka Sauce pizza which was good. I'll be honest I was a tad disappointed in the pizza. It was flavorful but I think I was expecting the same feeling I got when I had the pasta. It was good, but just that, good. Crust was a little burnt. I did love the vibes and pasta and it's definitely known in Cambridge for a good reason. I'd recommend a reservation if you'd like a table as it does fill up fast.
