I had a home inspection in San Clemente and needed a plumber to evaluate a tricky booster pump system on a recent Saturday morning. I called Greenwall and the lady that answered the phone was helpful when I explained that I had several people at the inspection and could she help me to get someone over to help us. She obliged and we had Zac onsite within 20 minutes. He was very helpful and delivered an estimate for repairs when promised the following Monday. Then, Zac asked if he could have his boss, Tom, stop by to ensure they were recommending the proper solution. Max and his crew came and fixed a huge pipe offset in my lower yard that was a couple hundred feet away from my house. They dug it up fixed it Hydro jetted all the pipes. I also had a problem with my toilet in the master bathroom and they fix that and got it working for me I had next day response from when I called them. They fixed the toilet the first day and they came out and and excavated and re-piped, Hydro jetted all my plumbing the following day. With maybe two hours downtime of not being able to use my toilet. I have a half acre parcel and they made sure all the plumbing and the pipes were completely perfect and free of roots. They were completely honest, trustworthy, and gave me options on what type of work I was financially able to complete. I would trust them and use them again. I highly recommend them. read more

Greenwall Plumbing came out on a Sunday to help me when a hose bib was sheared off. Max spent at least two hours trying to make it so I could at least take a shower. Read the bad reviews. My opinion about this company: They grossly over charge for their work. They charged me many thousands of dollars for a job that should have been less than half that. It really hurts (spiritually and financially) to live somewhere where there is such an unscrupulous company. Please get other estimates, and be super careful if a real estate company suggests them, don't think the realtor knows what they are talking about. One problem is, most people dont understand how easy or difficult a job is, but in my experience, they made it seem like its difficult so they can charge more. BE CAREFUL. Both bathrooms were backing up and water and what not started coming up through the shower and tub. It was after 7pm and we had called a few other plumbers but were all busy. I called Greenwall on a suggestion from one of our neighbors and it was the right call. Max came out in about 20 minutes and was on it. He really knew what he was doing. Found the clean out plug in our yard and went to work. In less than 30 minutes problem resolved. Come to find out the tree roots are causing the issue. He had this great gadget he ran over the lawn and located the culprit. However that will be another project if we decide we want removed. For now it's fixed and should be good for awhile. We have used Greenwall Plumbing for the last couple of years, so I am really remiss in not having written this review earlier. However, this delay does provide the advantage of being able to comment on more than one visit. Those of us who live in San Clemente and now have homes that are in the 20 year old range have plumbing problems aplenty due to the hard water and corrosion it causes in copper piping. We have had Greenwall out for both emergency visits (scary leaks) and preventative maintenance (replacing an aging hot water heater and recirculating pump). Each and every visit has been a good experience. This business is family owned and operated and they work as a team to get the job done. They get to you as soon as they can, especially in emergency situations. Their repairs are efficient and fairly priced. A very good and very reliable local company. read more

Had a minor plumbing project, which quickly upgraded to a significant job. My 50+ year old pressure regulator had the decency to fail while Zac and Mitch were here. They chased down a new one, and installed it for a very reasonable cost. They were able to overcome the challenges this old house presented. As a retired contractor with over 20 years experience, I can honestly say that experience creates excellence, neither are traits that the "plumbers" working for Greenwall possess. Nor are they willing to consider they made a mistake and take a look the problem at no cost. If you don't do the work right the first time.....you have to come back! IF you care about your reputation. Apparently, Greenwall plumbing is too busy to care...Some advice to the owner..(who was supposed to call me back, but did not) this false economy could collapse by the end of 2017....Better save your money I called Greenwall plumbing out two times, the first was to replace the garbage disposal in the unit I live in. The disposal was at least 15 years old and the body of the disposal was cracked and leaking water. I prearranged a price for a new disposal including installation over the phone, it was pricey, but I was being reimbursed by my landlord and didn't want to do it. Greenwall sent a young plumber out the very next day, the guy came in, got right to work and got the job done....Hassle free, no additional charges. The kitchen faucet was extremely corroded and would not pivot, so I did not hesitate to call Greenwall back, I was impressed by my previous experience. I had once again explained what work neede to be done and prearranged a price. I had purchased a faucet from Lowes and just needed it installed, as well as a couple of angle stops (small valves, hot and cold water ). The plumber (s) arrived in the promised time frame, but didn't seem motivated to do the work this time (two young guys this time). They even raised the price by 50% and then told me that the job couldn't even be done as I was missing parts to connect it to the supply side.....I've had lazy "cherry picking" employees before, these guys just really didn't want to do the job, it was easy to tell. He told me to call back when I had the part. They took off....Without the tools they had brought in, I called them back for the tools. I was sure they were wrong about the "missing" part, I couldn't find anything missing after reading the parts list, but I went back to Lowes just to be sure. Greenwall's "plumbers" were wrong, everything was there. I called out Russel Fisher Plumbing, they sent out a real plumber for $100 less and had the job done in under 30 minutes. Flash forward to December 13th 2016. My countertops around the kitchen sink were flooded by the dishwasher vent at the sink. I got under the the sink and found that the hose that connects the dishwasher to the disposal was kinked. It wasn't just kinked, it was basically flat, there was no way much water could pass through it, so it was pushing up through the air vent on top of the sink and running all over the cabinets and onto the kitchen floor. I called Greenwall and explained the situation, they said they could have someone over the next day to replace the hose. I let them know that if they were going to charge me, that I wasn't going to pay....That hose was so old it was crimped when their plumber put it back on the garbage disposal, it worked for 3 months, but it was easily clogged by sediment building up and causing it to flood out the vent....It SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED. Green wall never showed up...the owner never called to see what the situation was from the customer's perspective. I'm going to drop the old hose off at their office...they can keep it as a souvenir. I went to the local hardware store, bought a piece of hose for $3. I installed it under my sink in 5 minutes! It took waaaaaay longer to write this..but just thought people would like to know, that if you use Greenwall plumbing it's a roll of the dice. read more

I hate even giving 1 star to this company. Tom Chevaz came out to my 4-unit building to take care of a plumbing leak in bathroom. After tearing out and destroying the vanity, they finally found the leak and stopped it. However, in the process they called to say that they found a line that could be used in the wall, which would be the cheapest way to go and had no idea what the line was used for anyway. So they disconnected the hot water line to the RECIRCULATING HOT WATER HEATER. I found out a few weeks later when my tenants began to complain as it took so much longer to get hot water. After getting another plumbing company out and spending $1600, we found that the problem was done when I had that initial leak. This plumbing company cut 10 holes in drywall to try to trace the line to the hot water heater in two of the units. In addition to their cost, I had to pay to have them all patched and re-painted as I was almost through with a major remodel, and had to buy all new fixtures for 2 units as they were so torn apart. My property manager had suggested that it might have to do with my first leak several weeks ago and she remembered they were going to do something to the plumbing so they wouldn't have to re-route which would be costly. When I called to have Tom come out to find out what he had done, he said YES, I cut off the Recirculating Line and you agreed so you could save money, and was very rude when he got there. He had NEVER MENTIONED THE WORDS "RECIRCULATING LINE" - He just said he found another line and could use it as he couldn't see what it was for anyway and it would save me some money. He said on his invoice - "Was not able to check with other tenants in the building to see if they still have hot water as no one was home". read more

Unfortunately, because the unit was so old we were unable to fix it, so they worked around the clock to get a new one ordered and put in even though it was the holidays. I have just recently had the best 'plumber' experience ever. I called Greenwall plumbing to recess my refrigerator water spigot - and their plumber, Nick, came out within hours. While he was there, I asked about several other plumbing issues I was having with my tubs and showers. He looked at all my problems, offered reasonable, efficient fixes, and proceeded to work on them. Because he needed fixture and supplies he didn't carry with him, he came back and made the repairs on subsequent days. Nick was the friendliest, most personable guy - I trusted him immediately. As it turned out, my simple job sort of snowballed into three or four other issues - but Nick was honest and trustworthy from the start, and I really appreciated the extra efforts he made to complete all the various plumbing issues around my house. Most importantly, he was knowledgeable, professional, and skilled at his trade - which gave me confidence in his recommendations. They have a coupon in the newspaper advertising "$25 off labor with this ad", and when I presented coupon, plumber said the discount is already included in the price, so coupon is not necessary or accepted. So how will I ever know? I prefer to see the total price and then $25 deducted from bill so I know the coupon is meaningful. Apparently, "with this ad" does not mean "with this ad". It's misleading and downright shady. They are NOT honest like they advertise, and like the plumber (Randy) admitted to me, the fees for service are HIGH, therefore, are not "reasonable" like they advertise. I called and made an appointment to look at a heater exterior venting issue and a tankless water heating issue. After explaining what need to be done the owner said we don't do heating...Hummmm they advertise that and that the tankless water heater which was already installed needed proper venting which was me removing the old vent and them retro fitting stainless which I realize the material is expensive. I mentioned that I had had some other bids and I thought they were a bit high, having been in the trades myself for years...The quote from the owner was "THEN YOU ARE NOT GONNA LIKE MINE ! " Wow....and this is touted as a family run and operated business ? NEVER sent a quote or responded in any way...Who needs attitude....The trades are busy now, but they were begging for work 2 years ago.
