Was busy in the office, but everybody worked around everyone else well. There was very good teamwork. The place was very clean and had each chair and instrument covered in plastic for each patient. The nurse even recovered the instruments to use on me again. While wasteful... I was impressed for the hygiene. Dr Mueller was patient and professional like my mom described. He was able to extract my tooth mostly painlessly. I was impressed and will return.

I first went here five years ago and liked the dentist so would get my routine cleanings and work done despite the rude staff. A big thing I did with them was get a mouth guard for my teeth grinding and pain. When you do a service here you pay directly after, they do not send it to your home for billing. So inquired before the mold was done if it was covered and it was at 80%. I received the mold and paid my bill. I went back a couple more times for a cleaning before the office said they don't take my insurance and I ended up moving states anyway so no big deal. I moved twice since seeing them and had mail forwarding for years and did not change my phone number or email. 4 years later I get an email from a collection agency claiming I owe almost $500 for an outstanding bill. I'm confused because it's been 4 years and have not received any notice. When I call the office manger Christine she starts out very rude and dismissive and says that I was notified and that the insurance would have sent me an explanation of benefits saying my original claim for the guard was denied and I need to pay. I state that I have not been contacted and asked why it was denied she claims she does not know and I could call the insurance company. I call my insurance and they state they sent the dentist a claim why it was denied because they didn't state my condition and all they needed was to resubmit (sent from initial claim years ago), and they never heard back. They also stated the amount I should have paid and I have a receipt showing I paid that amount the day of service. I told the office about this and that they should resubmit. I also asked them to send me the proof that they contacted me in four years since interest was added to the bill and the original bill. They ignored my request for the contact and sent the initial bill. The office re-submitted and called saying that my insurance paid the rest and that they would call collections. I asked if they could also follow up with an email stating that I have a zero balance and that this situation is taken care of with collections so nothing further comes of it in the future and the office manager refused and said insurance would send me and explanation of benefits. After explaining that I don't want this situation to happen again she said she can't email but she can mail and hung up without getting any of my information after her knowing I no longer live there. Save yourself the drama and stress. Go to a place that values the customers, treats you with respect, and knows the job.

I am especially grateful for the care that I received, as they made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire process. And the dentist was socially awkward (but I can look beyond that... it seems like a common trait for dentists to be awkward). Well, even scheduling my appointment over the phone was a pleasant experience. The lady was super friendly and accomodating. She even mailed me the new patient paperwork to get that started for me (along with a free mini calendar). I was going in for 2 cavities to be filled- and the dental hygenist was very friendly and nice- and the dentist... lo and behold... socially normal! He was actually pleasing to talk to! (for the brief moment we chit chatted) I had very little pain during the injections of novacaine or during the drilling of the cavities... I have to say I endured less pain getting my cavities filled, than when the other dentist had just cleaned my teeth. And lets not forget the friendly treatment all around. They created a very calming environment. They will SO be the dentist ppl I call on for years to come.

The receptionist was kind and thorough with the paperwork I had to fill out. I wasn't kept waiting more than 5 minutes before I was seen. My hygienist, Jill had a great personality. She wasn't fake nice- she was knowledgeable and explained everything before she did it. She took her time going through the after care without making me feel like I was wasting her time. I met the dr briefly but he also was thorough. The equipment they used was up to date and made X-rays a lot easier to deal with when I already had a sore mouth. Even the bathrooms were super clean. The waste basket is sensor automated which shows me that they really care about cleanliness. I'm so glad I chose this place and plan on being with them for a long time.

I like Dr. John Boain and some of the staff but his billing and scheduling appointment, sucks…read more Especially Donna, she always submits the wrong billing code, and I always get a bill after treatment and I also have to pay up front at the time of service and still owe after treatment which, they don't tell me in the office. I'm like what do my insurance cover? So, pay attention to your EOB and bill before making a payment. When I have called to schedule an appointment with Donna, always tells me, we don't have an appointment available till four or five months from now. I'll go on the Boain website and see a lot of appointment times slots that's available less than a month to schedule. Terrible billing and scheduling department. It's best to self-schedule your appointments online.
