The place is fine except the WiFi is painfully slow. I've been here many times over the past few years and it's always incredibly slow. On two occasions their WiFi stopped working all together. It's too bad, cause it's a nice environment and they lots of table space. Given its almost 2020, you think they would have gotten onboard by now. read more

Im a regular at this location. Its a very busy spot. No matter how busy im always greeted by Kim and She has my coffee ready when she sees me. She is so pleasant. It's refreshing to see someone enjoy what theyre doing. It's hard to get good service these days. read more

There's a big guy here behind the counter I think he's the manager. If so, he's the reason this place gets 5 stars. Never seen manager so efficient. He was really in top of things making sure everything gets made well and there's no confusion (with everyone's order). He's so bomb. He makes this place so good. Definitely enjoyed my triple fruit with granola smoothie this morning although it taste very powdery and unlike real fruit blend!! Would I return? No! but the manager seemed to do a great job running the place, it's clean and fast and the customers inside who look like they frequent the place look comfy. read more

I go to this location 3-4 times a week for an afternoon pick me up and it has a neighborhood feel with the friendliest staff. The story behind the company makes me want to be a patron even more. Great, quieter coffee shop right near Starbucks with similar pricing but I think their house roast is definitely better. I prefer the environment there too and the staff seems very friendly. The Starbucks right there is always blasting loud music and I think this place is more in tune with the calm, cool vibe. read more

I love this coffee spot. They really got the concept of what a coffee place means nowadays: good, hand-crafted coffee and specialty drinks (and pastries!), a trendy and spacious space, and...good wifi!! I've looked around the neighborhood for other coffee shops and this is the one I come back to every time. Everything beats Starbucks --it has a much cozier feel and they do expect to keep you here and ordering, rather than do all possible to kick you out. And the smaller bakeries or coffee shops don't have good wifi, or anywhere to sit for that matter. read more

This location is always great! From fast service to extremely friendly baristas, I have never had anything less than amazing service and I am always greeted with a smile. The coffee and pastries are always fresh, and I enjoy the new ones that pop up in the mix, especially the vegan and gluten-free options. Quality coffee, well roasted and well brewed. Visited at 1pm, no one in line but coffee was fresh, multiple customers in the back. Drink came out in less than two minutes. All items on milk bar fresh and kept neat and cold. Most impressed still with overall quality of coffee. Great UES addition. read more

one of my fave coffee/pastries joints overall as the many sweets (pastries )and hot and cold beverages are as good or better then any other place around . while walking along first ave on a friday morning notice gregorys coffee near 69th street and its time to enjoy a cappy with a donut and more. good size place with plenty of seating options well spreaded out so you have plenty of elbow room to enjoy your coffee . while my buddy claimed a couple of stools in the back wall counter seating section i ordered up front and its always a friendly and respectful exchange with the gregory staff behind the counter . the overhead menu board is simple to understand , prices are fair but my only issue is trying to avoid looking at the amazing display of sweets cause a few times i went a bit overboard and did a triple header (donut, cookie, crossiant )and could not move from my seat (lol). place is clean , staff are wonderful , drinks and eats are yummy and thats a good enough reason to come back just wish they would open some locations in westchester especially in white plains . read more

This is a very affable coffee shop. I liked the chai latte. They are especially proud of their coffee. Eats of different kinds. Easy going staff. Good with lots of tables. In the back there is a large table that people sit at with their laptops. It's spread out so you are not cramped. Reasonable noise level. I found it an easy place to do some work. read more

Used to regularly get an egg pocket for breakfast and a waffle cookie for lunch among other things. Other people must have really liked them to because they sold out quickly. Now just stale, same-old pastries that are not moving. Place is a whole lot fewer customers. read more

I was at the local park nearby with my child, thought I'd pop in on a Saturday around 6ish to use the restrooms. The barista I asked said it was for customers only, which I totally understand, but it was practically empty and I am 8.5 months pregnant so I thought a bit of compassion wouldn't hurt. I asked a couple of times and the same time she gave the same response, very rudely. Most places I've been to have had no issues with non customers, especially when they see someone heavily pregnant. I've had their coffee before and it's not the greatest, the customer service has also put me off, won't be returning and will tell other colleagues as I work nearby. read more

Gregory's 'Beet Latte' is nothing but warm milk. Not even a hint of Berry or Beets, just warm oat milk. Complete waste of $5. They skimp on their specialty drinks. BlueLane makes a great beer latte. Your money is better spent somewhere else. read more

Golden mylk is my new addiction! Almond milk, turmeric and some other yum ingredients make up this delicious cold concoction that I have been told helps to strengthen your immune system. Each time I come to this Gregory's I'm always treated like I am special! They keep it super clean and chill. Literally best coffee I've had in a while, the two baristas that work afternoon shifts,I believe their names are Suzy and Briane, they are the best. Super funny, and very welcoming. I've been going to their 65th and lex location for months, so I was excited when I found out they were opening a block away from where I work, but I came here twice and the coffee is not as good. try a cappuccino from both here and the 65th and lex location and you will notice immediately the difference in quality. the coffee from here isnt terrible, but when you consider this is a chain and they make it so much better at a different location a few blocks away, it is a big disappointment read more
