Joe has repeatedly gone above and beyond my expectations of great service. I have a used 4Runner…read moreand frankly am not terribly knowledgable about what repairs are necessary. First, Joe recommended only the most critical repairs and gave me a tentative timeline of when other repairs may be needed. I'd be driving across the country and he made sure I was traveling in a safe vehicle. When I arrived out west in the scorching heat, my engine light went on. I took it to the local Scottsdale dealer on Camelback and they gave me a long list of critical repairs over $3500! They made it sound like my car would drop out from under me if I didn't have the repairs done. I called Joe. He disagreed with the assessment and spoke directly with the Scottsdale dealer. He is amazing. I took the car to a very reputable repair shop that my cousin has worked with for years, IMM Auto in Tempe. Cost for the actual critical repairs, plus a repair that would be needed by next summer, under $1000. My 4Runner is running great! I wish there was a Kenny Kent in every city that I could go to. I trust not only Joe Fredrich, but also the Kenny Kent dealership.

Purchased new Highlander in 2020…read more I have brought it in for service at every due date and completed all service recommendations. At 82,000 miles I am told that I need a $700 brake rotar replacement. The pads show indication of normal wear, I was told rotars can't be turned due to 'damage'. No indication of brake trouble in any of their phony reports. They would not stand behind their own documentation, which was bogus as they showed my break pads thickening over time instead of showing wear. I should only have had to pay for brake pad replacement if they did an honest job. They caused the damage by taking money for phony inspections. They lied to my face and blamed it on my driving habits. I am 68 and have never locked up the brakes in the 6 years of ownership. They are not trustworthy and refuse to own their mistakes. I will drive to the next closet dealer for maintenance. Go some where else!

I realize that we were wanting a car under 10 thousand, and it was at the end of the day, but the…read moresalesman could have done better with checking the car out, and it didn't even get detailed, it was full of dog hair, we can't turn on the air because of the dog smell and hair comes out of the vents and some of the things in the car doesn't work. Also, it is NOT worth what we are paying for a 16-year-old car, which sometimes we are afraid is going to fall apart. I expected better from D-Patrick; the last car we got from there was perfect, and the salesman was great. The one we had this time, I don't want to be around him. I know I bought it as is, but this is ridiculous. There are a lot of things we have to replace on it. This time, I don't even think I will recommend you like I did last time.

I see this "dealer" has 2.5 stars on YELP - Shame on me for not doing my homework before I…read morepurchased a vehicle from this dealership. Purchased a used vehicle from this business. Vehicle had multiple service lights on, and we agreed that they would take care of the 'service engine light', but not the others and agreed to reduce the price (which was $1000 overpriced anyway). The took care of the service engine light and we drove off the lot. One day later, check engine light is on (so apparently all they did was simply reset it and did not fix what was causing it). I actually figured they would do this, so while I'm not exactly surprised, I am disappointed and calling and speaking with our sales rep, Mason, didn't do a bit of good, period. Like I said, shame on me. We were also going to buy another vehicle from them this weekend, but LAW Chevrolet in Boonville has much better YELP and GOOGLE reviews, so we'll be taking our business there. Wouldn't want to get scammed twice in same week. It's further away, but definitely worth it.

An Out-of-State Purchase Done Perfectly -- Ask for Matt and Luke…read more Buying a used car sight-unseen from across the country is one of those things that sounds like a great way to get burned. The horror stories are real -- cars that look nothing like the photos, hidden mechanical issues glossed over in the listing, bait-and-switch pricing when you show up, and last-minute fees magically appearing at the signing table. I knew all of this going in. I did it anyway, and I'm genuinely glad I did. I found a used car at Hyundai of Evansville and worked with Matt and Luke from start to finish. From the very first conversation, these guys were different. No pressure, no games, no manufactured urgency. We negotiated the price honestly and efficiently over the phone -- they were straightforward, reasonable, and never made me feel like I was being managed. All the paperwork was handled ahead of time so there were no surprises waiting for me when I arrived. I flew in specifically to pick up the car. Matt and Luke walked me through the vehicle thoroughly, answered every question, and had me on the road in about 10 minutes. Everything was exactly as represented -- not a single thing had been hidden, minimized, or oversold. The whole experience was cleaner and easier than buying a car locally has ever been for me. If you're hesitant about buying long-distance, let this review be your sign. Hyundai of Evansville -- and specifically Matt and Luke -- are the real deal. They earned my trust before I ever stepped off the plane, and they delivered on every bit of it. I'd do it again without hesitation.

There is a reason for the warranty they give you, because the engines don't last. They didn't even try to keep me as a client by offering a deal on a new car to make up for the disaster that was their Tuscon. My Totota's consistently get 300,000 miles and last 20+ years. Save yourself a lot of headaches and buy a Toyota.
