This little I've bar is a hidden gem! It definitely doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you! We came to watch football and stayed for the cheap beer and good food. They have different specials everyday and on Saturday was $15 beer buckets. Can't beat that! My chicken Philly cheesesteak was surprisingly good and the fries were awesome!! They also have options for kids which is helpful while the adults enjoy the games. I felt bad for our server because she was by herself but did a great job. By far the best sports bar in St. Mary's. The food is always fantastic, even though there may be a bit of a wait at times when it's busy. They have a little bit of everything you'd want to have a beer and watch a game. Beer selection is pretty normal for SoMD, but the real suspense are the specials each day. Came in Sunday evening after painting a house all day, and damn did I want a cold drink and some good food. I sure as hell chose the right place to go. Walked in and it was deathly silent, with maybe three people at the bar and no one else sitting. We were immediately greeted and sat at a table and drink orders put in. I just got a basic Jack and Coke, which came about three minutes later in a tall pint glass. Let's just say the bartender has a great heavy hand for the price. Looked over the menu and I'm not sure if I was just starving or if everything honestly looked good. Being my first time here, I decided to go all out and get the "Monster Burger" which is 16oz of beef smothered in toppings. I also noticed they had hot wings, and decided to try their hottest sauce. In order to get a side of it, I had to sign a waiver before they even bring it out. Food took about 15-20 minutes to come out, but when I did I was thoroughly impressed. The burger was massive, and very difficult to eat, but it was delicious. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, the toppings (chilli, onion ring, cheese, tomato, lettuce) worked perfectly. The house-made chips as the side were pretty good even though I'm not a chip fan. As a spicehead I was very disappointed in the hot sauce which seemed to be some sort of capsaicin extract in a tomato base. It had absolutely no good flavor and the heat was at about a 6.5/10. I do need to try the less hot sauces to see if they have the balance of flavor down. All in all, I would definitely come back. read more

An early lunch, and my favorite kind of lunch burgers and beer. I find myself one of two people here this morning and the staff is ready for my order. A cold beer from a menu of no less than 18 beers to choose from. Ive eaten here before but never did a review. The staff is pleasant and attentive, my burger was ordered "medium" and was spot on! The burger was bite for bite "perfect" The make their own kettle style chips and those came to the table hot and crunchy. They also have fantastic onion rings. If you like fried pickles, some of the best are right here. They have trivia on wednesday nights. I am absolutely convinced that this is the best place in St. Mary's County to get a burger and a beer, hands down. Emily my server was very pleasant in demeanor and very attractive. Best BLT I have ever had . Cold beers. I have been there 4 times and some short fat guy was micro managing. I grew up in the restaurant business and I would tell every one to stay away if this clown is working. He has some stupid tattoos and he's short and stocky. Was having a great evening with dueling pianos, bar manager thought someone in our group had too many to drive, even though we had alternate transportation she felt we "may drive" so she cut off the whole group.... not only were we not disruptive in any way but they crossed the line of their responsibility. BS! Food wise, the crab dip was pretty good, but a bit sweet however, the meatballs were not good at all and were definitely frozen a few min before being served. Went back on Tue 1/28 for supper. Wife had a Reuben with chips and she really enjoyed it. She brought half of her meal home and had for lunch today. I had the Reuben dog which is a quarter pound hotdog with corned beef, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. I got onion rings instead of chips. I also paid an extra $3 to get an extra dog which makes it a great value. The reuben dogs and onion rings were excellent. This place is definitely our new go-to place. read more

I hate to give this place 2 stars. BUT. They need to clean up the bar flies. Either that, or they need to partition the bar from the restaurant area. They have pretty good food and cold beer. I'm really conflicted about this review. There were both pros and cons about this place. I'll just start at the beginning. I was happy with the atmosphere upon arrival. Not a whole lot of TVs, but they were well placed. This place has a great happy hour. There aren't a whole lot of beers on tap, but domestic drafts are only $1.50 a pint. I ordered the nachos. They were bad. The chili tasted exactly like marinara sauce. My buddy got a bowl of chili and it was the same marinara tasting sauce. Also got chicken wings. These were just ok. Other buddy got chicken fingers. He seemed pleased. So here is my dilemma, food...bad, beer...good. I would warn against eating anything that has their chili on it. The pizza looked really good, but I didn't try it. I wonder if they put chili on that too? I sure hope not. read more

Surprisingly nice inside. Very modern and clean restaurant. Good draft beer selection for a sports bar/grill. Beer is ice cold to boot. Good place to catch the game, especially the local Washington and Baltimore teams. Good place to come with a group. Food was mediocre but typical for St Mary's county. Service was slow as described in other reviews but not atypical for this area. Servers are polite and cordial. This place is far cleaner and superior to Buffalo Wild Wings and the Brass Rail (local competitors). read more

Great place to watch a game. They have a great assortment of beers on tap along with a full bar. The steak was cooked perfect which isn't always the case when you order them very rare. Came here on a weeknight with family. We've been here numerous times and due to this last experience will never return. While I understand they were short staffed - this is no excuse for everyone getting their food except for 2 of us. My order was the same as someone else who got their food. When I finally found the waitress and said since everyone else was done I no longer wanted my food I was told to go see the manager who would not even come to the table. 2 hours later we got our check which was wrong. I get it, we were a big party and they were short staffed. But that is no excuse for lack of communication from the waitress, a sour attitude from the waitress, disrespect from the manager and food ordered at the same time coming out an hour apart. Hoping the owners see this. Please train your staff on remaining friendly and calm in the face of a hectic night; and maybe hire some more people. read more
