I hate giving one star reviews but when a company is not completely honest, I feel it is warranted. I went on the Autonation site and found a vehicle at this location. I clicked on the link for "Check Availability" and sent a message. I was very clear that I only wanted to know if that specific vehicle was available. I received an email from Matt Smith with a link to the vehicle. It did not say specifically if the vehicle was available or not but I couldn't see any reason why they would respond like this if the vehicle had been sold. So, I drove to Delray Beach. It is 95 degrees out and Delray is a good 20 minute drive up I-95. Not the most comfortable day for a drive but if they have the vehicle I want, it's worth it. When I got to the location, I found out that the vehicle had been sold. Matt should have told me this in his first email. He did not. Which means, he knew full well that they did not have the vehicle, yet he was intent on getting me in. The only reason would be to sell me something else. This is dishonest salesmanship and I do not do business with people who are dishonest. I will never purchase a vehicle from these folks. There are plenty of honest car salesmen out there. Wow, what a huge disappointment. I ordered a new Bronco March 2021. I contacted them monthly and they told me a different story about the production each time. It's now 1 year and a half later after I was told there would be delivery 3 times that my order was not selected to be produced. They never contacted me. Extremely disappointed in their customer service, communication and ability to get my truck serviced. We took our vehicle in to the shop for new wiper blades, tire rotation and to have a banging sound fixed. 17 days in the shop we finally stopped by to check on the truck. Nothing had been taken care of. Service writer was rude and unhelpful. Their beautiful building doesn't make up for their incompetence. I decide to go to the dealership to test drive the car but before I decide to respond one of the SMS to make sure the deals and promotions are still valid (7k rebates, summer deals, other promotions). The salesman Oscar responds "are you trying to buy a car of get a free smart watch?", I ignore the salesman arrogance and I go to the dealership . After driving the car the salesman shows me some numbers, the numbers did not make sense (as compared to another dealership and to the web page), I told Oscar about it and he replies: you can give me an offer so I can show that you are a serious buyer? Honestly? Do I have to show you am I a serious buyer? Why don't you show me a good offer I could agree on ? The GM was out so they gave me a kid as a salesperson. He showed me a Used 2020 Expedition. He didn't know how much it could tow but my friend did. We had to demand the Car Fax on the vehicle. Turned out it was a rental and had one wreck. Then they showed me a print out of costs financing through one of their lenders. They wanted almost FULL price for a used rental car with a repair. Worst Car Experience ever. Never buy a car from these folks. I ordered a Mach E on Ford Website and designated Grieco as the delivery dealership. The Ford website told the dealer could only add tax and title/Plates transfer fees. Got the call last month, car arrived. They added a fee and basically told me if I didn't pay it, they would refund my deposit and sell the car with a prmium (they have a waiting list). My Salesperson (Scott) was useless. He handed me the key and several sheets of papers and said here's how it works. He did not take me out for ride and show me the features of the car. I have also asked Scott for a copy of the IRS certificate indicating that the 2022 Mach E is eligable for the tax credit. He has still not gotten back to me. My advice is, if you have a chose, do not buy from Grieco Ford of Delray. I would have given them no stars if I could read more

Now I know why they have such bad reviews. I am out of the area and needed to get a new vehicle and they would not give me a quote over the phone or through email. They said I had to be there in person. I went to other Ford dealers and they had no issue sending me a breakdown through email. I wish I could give zero stars. I dropped my car off for service and a RECALL yesterday. I picked it up today and went inside. The ONLY person wearing a mask during a PANDEMIC was my AMAZING service advisor. The cashier wasn't wearing a mask, the service guys weren't wearing masks, the salesmen DEFINITELY were NOT wearing masks. One came up to me to touch my dog and as I backed up, he kept following without a mask covering his face as I was backing up. I am so disappointed in this dealership. I will never return. This is a COVID PANDEMIC.... everyone needs to protect each other ESPECIALLY customers. They overcharged me when I went there a year ago and I vowed never to go back. I decided to give them a second chance because my 2016 mustang needed a diagnostic run because I am getting a check advance track error code. I called a week in advance to make an appointment for Thursday morning at 9 o'clock because I had the day off of work and when I got to the dealership they informed me that I would have to leave my car there for two days. Even though a diagnostic check takes only an hour. Why would I even need to call and make an appointment if they are going to keep my car there for two days. This is one of the worst Ford dealerships I have ever been to in my life and I will never go back again no matter what. read more

Service department is terrible. Slow to respond to concerns and can't seem to (or want to) find the problem with my vehicle. Had it with them for 14 days and they never looked at it...then they told me all of the sudden it was fixed because they reset a code...my vehicle did the exact same thing on my drive home from their shop. When I called back to ask about bringing it back in they said I'd have to go to the back of the line again. They also told me since my vehicle wasn't showing any error codes in the computer that they didn't really know what they would do. I have gone elsewhere now. I can't really give an accurate assessment of this service center based upon the inexperienced advisor. The rep who answers the phone ,Tracy I'm thinking, when calling this service center was beyond helpful, but that's about where it ended. I brought my son's car in because of an engine light & failure to start issue. My tech Lisa was inexperienced in my opinion because after picking up the car, 2 days later, the engine light was still on and I was told," If a problem is not brought to my attention I don't look," not verbatim, but come on! Needless to say I had to find the time to go back to the service center so they could fix the problem. Zach,on the other hand ,got the job done in a timely manner and was customer service oriented. I would choose an advisor wisely when visiting this service center, steer clear of Lisa. Also... upon asking for the service manager 4x's , I was never connected. Use caution is my advice. He was amazing, a real gentleman. During our discussions, we met the finance guys. Everyone was attentive and genuinely worked to deliver the right car at the right price to fit our needs. There wasn't a person who walked past us who didn't smile and say hello. Our situation involved not only leasing a new SUV but included working out a termination of our prior Ford lease with 5 months to go, and agreeing on the right downpayment with an affordable monthly payment. We drove home that day in a new Ford Titanium SUV, fully loaded with many amazing features. We loved our experience and look forward to driving our amazing SUV. I finally got my refund on March 26th for a BMW X3 I started the process of purchasing back in January. I totally understand it's not their fault they took a trade as a Lemmon but to try to sell it is a whole other thing. Thankfully I was able to stop the bank transfer before the lender wired the money. It's difficult to nail down who's the biggest POS.. the mgr Michael Tronte who never returned any of my three voice mail, Frank Ramos at ext 1917 who acted like he wanted to beat me up for wanting a refund and added over $2500 more than the internet price with smoke and mirrors, Carmela Moran (401) 487-5497 ( nominated for horrible customer service manager of the year) who answers their customer complaint calls with no solution, only excuses without resolve or Scott who was as worthless as a blockbuster video membership. This place is terrible. No remorse or anything close to an apology...my family made 5 visits, gave them $5000k ( fought to get it all recovered). I actually felt a little intimidated that I might get roughed up for even showing face. Please, save yourself the trouble and buy from somebody else because anyone else will be better. read more

For a loyal customer, I was treated like My business is not important. Ever since Grieco bought Autonation service has just gone downhill! I was charged for a diagnostic that I never asked them to do, and they left my heat cover hanging off and hood open after I said I wouldn't get the issue they found repaired there. After multiple calls and chat sessions with Grieco I was never able to speak to a supervisor, but two people called me to buy a car. Never again! I found a mechanic that comes to your house, repairs the vehicle in no time at your convenience, and charged me less than half of what Grieco quoted me. They do not own a body shop, they subcontract the work out. if you want you car fixed please visit a real shop that can fix your car. I brought one of my work trucks in for repairs after a minor accident. They made a deal to fix it for $3000. and then came back and said we made a mistake and we need an additional $600 because our subcontractor made a mistake in estimating the total to do the work. Went to Greico Ford for a serious car issue not knowing what to expect. It started out that the techs were courteous, knowledgeable and shared what they knew. Dominic Mowrer worked with me in searching for a new car, and respected that I was looking for value and what my needs were. Everything was going great. 2 days later in hearing noises and rattling in my new car that I didn't hear on my first day. I check for other cars and find the car that I just purchased (confirming VIN #) for over a $1000 less online and even verified that it was the exact car, that I was charged $1000 more for! I submitted request for more info on my car and immediately receive a response with the lower price number. Had to take time off from work to go talk to them. Asked them to do the "right thing". Needed the car checked to make sure that I'm not taking home a bigger headach/lemon than what I traded in and needed for them to "honor" the price advertised, and refund the extra $1000 I was charged. They offered $400 OR checking the car which is unacceptable. They overcharged $1000 and car does not appear sound. I specifically asked for them to then honor their "3 day money back guarantee" splashed across every page that my car on others on their website show,, which they specifically said they would not. They couldn't do the right thing. Do NOT RECOMMEND. Do not sign on anything until you do your homework and do Not Trust them. Most importantly do not buy on initial visit. Go home, do your homework, come Co a few days later as they can't seem to do the right thing when you give them a chance to. My husband and I purchased a new 2021 F350 from this dealership. We have been trying to get our truck repaired for over a month. When the service advisor finally contacted my husband back they told us they couldn't fix the truck for two weeks, cannot give us any sort of loaner vehicle or reimbursement And that we've never brought in the truck in there for electrical issues when this is in fact the third time we brought the truck into the same dealership to have it repaired after purchasing it. We spent over $1000 on rental trucks while this new truck has been being repaired at the same dealership. After my husband got frustrated and raised his voice at the service advisor they said that we no longer want our business. So basically what they mean is even though you bought the truck from us and you bought a warranty to have the truck fixed we're not gonna honor it. My mom was interested in buying a used car with cash. I emailed this dealer about the car I was interested in, asking for the out the door cash price for this car, and explicitly stated in the email that I was not interested in financing. They told me the prices was $6000 (as listed in Autotrader), plus dealer fees of $999 plus tax, tag, and title, which would bring the price to about $7500. My mom drove an hour to get there to check out the car, and when she arrived, she was told that the quoted price was the price with financing - the total price with cash would be about $9500. I originally submitted a complaint about Grieco Ford about two months ago about my terrible experience with their Ft Lauderdale location and an even worse experience with Delray later on that day. I was told by both dealers that there was a brand-new Maverick in their showroom and to hurry up and get over before it was gone. When I arrived at Grieco of Ft. Lauderdale the salesman was extremely apologetic about providing false information via phone and was trying to accommodate my husband and myself in any way possible. This was not the treatment I received at Grieco of Delray in fact, it was the complete opposite. After my experience in Ft. Lauderdale, I called Delray because a person by the name of Matt was calling and texting me all week. I spoke to Matt (internet sales) and made sure the vehicle was in fact in their lot before I traveled to Delray for no reason. I was assured by a floor salesman by the name of Jared. I explained to him what just happened in Ft. Lauderdale, and he told me not to worry. When arriving to Delray I wandered around the dealership for about 15 minutes and noticed there was only one Maverick on the lot, and it was used. Again, I was lied to. When I was then greeting by Tyler, I told him the situation and he went to grab Jared. When I confronted Jared about the situation, he told me he never told me there was a new Maverick on the lot and walked away with Tyler laughing. After this incident I spoke to the general manager, Jeff. He assured me that Jared was suspended, and he would contact me the moment a Maverick gets on the lot and offer me employee pricing. Another lie. A week later, I had received several calls from other dealerships in my area with Mavericks but since I was promised a more completive deal I waited to hear from Jeff. After not hearing from Jeff, I decided to post my experience on BBB and I was called immediately by Jeff yelling at me, trying to intimidate me about removing my post. At one point, I stopped him from berating me and I told him this was not going to get me to remove my post. I did, and 2 months later, no call or deal. Stay away. read more

Purchased a 70k f150 Lin June 2021. Grieco sold me a truck with wrong vin number. I was driving a truck that insurance I purchased didn't cover. The loan was for the wrong truck too. I was in New Jersey when I was informed of their major error. The insurance and loan had to be completely redone. I was shorted money on a payment I had made, didn't receive refund. I have contacted a John , sales manager , for two things. Touch up paint and the 42000 Ford pass points I should have on my account. John has done Nothing, I contacted him at least 4 times. A friend contacted John for me, he lied again, and did nothing, to my friends disgust. Grieco doesn't care after the sale, what kind of manager else refuses to help a customer? They don't show me very much. I've called the service department twice to get a quote on a repair. The first was on my mustang and the second in my pickup. Both times the service writer said he'd call me back with a quote, and both times he never did. If they're too good to give a quote then you know they'll screw you over in the billing.
