I have never left a negative review for any company before but this place is just Horrible, brought my truck that I purchased at the dealership new in 2018 due to strange noises and uneven tire ware. After having the car the whole day they told me I needed an alignment but it couldn't be don't there. Upon arrival to pick up the truck I received my "multi point inspection" stating everything is great even though I knew 2 tires were bald. When I asked about it they said the paper is marked as good so they are fine for now. No problem I brought it to another place to get the alignment done and found out there was a problem with the lower control arm (suspension was marked "good" on the "multipoint inspection" as well) on the front side as well as needing a minimum of 2 new tires, so I brought it back to ford to get the problems resolved. I asked to speak to the manager to bring to their attn that obviously someone just marked off the inspection and didn't look at the truck, which I was instructed by manager Mike "not to worry about yesterday and just talk about today" and manager Kelly that even though I have a bumper to bumper warrantee this will not be covered even though I purchased the truck from them and have not modified it. I found out later the control arm is a factory ford part as well. I was instructed by both managers Kelly and Mike that they couldn't do anything but send it out to a third party and needed 2 additional days to do so without even contacting the 3rd party and it was going to be a process to get it there if they had to do it blah blah blah. I was able to bring it to the 3rd party and they had it fixed in 30 mins and was a minor bolt tightening problem that could've been resolved by ford easily if they had actually taken the time to look at it instead I wasted a day and a half driving it all over to get some bolts Tightened. Bottom line they do not care about your safety or the safety of your vehicle and will not honor their Warrantee agreements. Managers Mike and Kelly were very unhelpful and not apologetic about any of my issues. As for Their reply to this My truck only has 17k miles my warrantee is far from expired, I was not offered a loaner vehicle nor told my valid warrantee would be honored. read more

I have bought vehicles all over the country and I must say that this dealership has the worst customer service out of any dealership I have ever dealt with. 2 weeks ago I put in an online inquiry for interior photos of the Ford Bronco that they have listed online with only exterior photos. I have received 10 emails back, all asking for my phone number or when I can take a test drive and none with interior photos. Each of the email I have replied to asking for interior photos, but have not received a reply from a real human. A few days later I will get another standardized email that they send out to their list of leads. So today I call, Brandon or Brian answers the phone. I asked Brandon if they still have the Bronco and they do. So I asked what the sale price is on the Bronco, Brandon replies "what it says on the internet". So I asked okay, I only see an MSRP on the internet, is there any additional rebates/deals to which Brandon chuckles and replies "ugh, no." Okay, fair enough... "Can you send me some photos of the interior?" Brandon: "It's just a black interior." So I told Brandon that I've never even seen the interior so again I ask if someone can send me some interior photos as I am 2 hours away. "Yeah, I guess I can have someone send some photos to this number, but it might be a couple days". Wow! Now I know why the Bronco is still there. The Worst shopping experience of my life. Completely disappointed... Searching for a new van went to test drive it and it had 3 miles remaining in the tank for gas, bird shit all over it and yet I was still interested; came back the following day with my husband to review the vehicle and yet again it was low on gas we actually ran out of gas down the street on test drove and had to walk back to the dealership. No wonder their cars are sitting on the lot! Horrible horrible horrible. Stay far far away from this awful place. Terrible experience today having a tire repaired, after mechanic finished repair he backed truck out with dirty gloves on hands when truck was brought to me I got my Lysol wipes out to clean germs off steering wheel wipe were black and dirty I show service advisor Lisa the dirty wipes, were in a pandamenic with the coronavirus19 you insulate your employees from my germs but you allow all vehicles to get germ ridden by your employees, gloves need to be changed with new ones before they enter a vehicle before work and after work, it gets better I look closer at aluminum alloy wheel and it was scratched by them dismounting and mounting of tire, now aluminum wheel has to be sent out to refinish and remove scratches, I would expect the wheel being scratched at a low end tire shop not a dealership looking forward to being inconvenienced while have aluminum alloy wheel refinished read more

TLDR: I do not think they are trustworthy. I am fairly disappointed by how I was treated by this dealer. When I saw this vehicle posted online it was listed for $16,500. I immediately contacted the dealership as it was an awesome deal. The vehicle appeared to be in great shape and I was prepared to purchase it. Talking with the dealer we ironed out all the details and it seemed to be a fair deal. I told him that I was going to purchase the vehicle and he said that he was going to go and lock it up and put it on hold. A few hours later he called me back and we kept moving forward. I then learned that the dealership charges a $1000 dealer fee. One 'sales manager' explained this to me as "100% profit". The second 'sales manager' that I worked with explained is as coverage for loaners, free oil changes, etc. - basically to cover their overhead (profit). FYI in Florida, $1000 is the maximum dealer fee that can be legally charged. This fee made the great deal on the vehicle just a good deal - OK, i can live with it. Next, the title fees for this vehicle were to be $450. Seems high to me! Still, i can live with it. I was then talking with the sales manager about financing, I ran my preapproval and it came back with 9.9-11.9% through ford. The sales manager thought he could get me ~7% if he shopped it around. I told him that I needed to look at the numbers and would call him back. I called back after he had left for the day (6PM) and left a voicemail that I would take the van. I booked a flight and told him when I was coming down, as we had discussed. The next morning I called a few times and got a hold of him around noon. He then proceeded to explain to me that they did something to help me out! Overnight, they put new tires on the vehicle and replaced the fuel door and center caps on the wheels (yea, they did this overnight?!). He told me that he didn't want me to be on the road, driving 1000 miles back to NY with tires that weren't safe. Why was a car on the lot and listed for sale when repairs need to be made to it to make it safe???? He was going to be a good guy and give all these repairs to me for $1500, which was their cost. So now my good deal, wasn't a deal at all. The vehicle was out of my price range. After trying his hardest to make the deal work out, he was only able to knock $500 off of the purchase price. (PS the vehicle is listed today $1500 more than the price I found - they weren't giving me any discount on these repairs) I thought it was clear that I was taking the vehicle and it was set aside. Then repairs were done to it that we did not discuss. Now here I am with a flight booked to Florida and no van to look at, so I am out $300. I feel that they baited and switched here. I think that they realized that they could get more for the vehicle and tried to squeeze it out of me, and will now get it out of someone else. read more

I purchased a vehicle from Grieco Ford of Delray on 12/11/21. When I took the car for a test drive I told the salesman that I noticed a vibration when I applied the brakes. He told me that they did a 139 point inspection, but I would have to bring it back because the auto shop was not open on the weekend. I was also told there was a warranty but was not provided documentation for either of those things at the time of purchase. I bought the car that day and took it out that night when I went to dinner with my husband. He drove the car that night and we both noticed a major vibration when applying the brakes. I called the dealership several times the next morning and insisted on bringing the vehicle in that day. The vehicle was there for 3 days and they told me that the rotors needed to be replaced and that they would take care of it. When I picked up the vehicle I requested the inspection report and warranty paperwork. Within a week of me owning the vehicle there were several waring sensors coming on the dashboard. Cooling Level, Oil Level, and Electronic Malfunction. When I checked the Inspection Report that was now provided to me I noticed that it was dated 12/13/21 which was 2 days after I purchased the vehicle. On the report it says that they checked the rotors, oil, and all fluids along with several other things. This is not true that this was completed prior to me purchasing the vehicle otherwise I would not have had to bring the vehicle back to have the rotors replaced. Since the sensors have been going off I added 2 quarts of oil to the vehicle which also should not have been needed if they did this 139 point inspection on the vehicle. I have also noticed a coolant smell coming from the vehicle. I called the dealership many times and was given the run around. I then filed a complaint with the BBB. Weeks later I received notification from the BBB that they were closing the file due to no response from the dealership after several attempts. I did finally get a response from the dealership directly weeks later. At that time I was negotiating with them on how to move forward with the vehicle. I expressed that I didn't want the vehicle and that I wanted a full refund. They offered to give me the price but not the taxes and dealer fees I paid. This was not acceptable to me. They also offered for me to bring the vehicle back to them so they could take a look at the issues and try to fix it. Again this was not acceptable because they clearly did not service and do the 139 point inspection prior to the purchase of the vehicle. Due to the lack of vehicle inventory and after going back and forth with them for several weeks, I finally agreed to bring the car to them to try to fix it. On 3/6/22 the Check Oil Level warning came on again. On 3/7/22 I was told for the first time that I could and should bring the car to an Audi Dealership for the repairs and that I needed to do this ASAP because the warranty was going to expire on 3/13/22. I was fortunate and able to get the vehicle in that day. I delivered the vehicle to Audi of West Palm Beach and told the service agent the entire story and issues the vehicle was having. I also expressed that I was not told that I could bring the car to Audi for service and if I had been told that I would have done that from the beginning. The service agent said that he has seen this happen many times because the dealerships do not want to pay the bill from Audi. I was called 2 days later from the service agent and he provided me with a list of issues that needed to be addressed. One of the biggest was that there was a coolant leak. They were going to make that repair as well as replace a sensor. They could not find the oil leak at that time but said that based on what I told him regarding the warnings and me adding 2 quarts of oil there was an issue. He said that they were going to call the warranty company and suggest that they do a full oil change and have me drive the car for 2 weeks, bring the car back to check the oil level again. He said that it sounded like the vehicle was burning oil and this would be a way to diagnose it. Audi had the vehicle until 3/31/22 and notified me that I could pick up the car. I went that evening to get the car and when I got home I looked over the paperwork and did not see anything regarding an oil change. On 4/5/22 the Check Oil warning came on again. I checked the dip stick and the oil level is low again. I also checked the computer in the vehicle and it says that the vehicle is not due for an oil change for another 6600 miles. There is absolutely no reason that this vehicle should need oil and have low levels! I am so upset and stressed with this entire situation. It has also been made aware that this inspection report was fraud due to the issues the vehicle is having and what was made aware to me by Audi, from minor to major repairs including tires, an oil issue, a coolant leak, brake pads, wiper blades, etc. Worst experience ever!!! read more

I went to the dealership to purchase the car cash. The car was filthy, hadn't even been vacuumed. After an hour of I don't know what, I'm told that the car would be $3,500. The dealership added $999 dealer fee plus a bunch of other stuff. How can you advertise a car for $999 and want me to pay $3,500 what world do these people live in. I made an appointment for an oil change at 7am (the service department opens at that time) and got there early to be sure that I finished promptly. It is now an hour and a half later and my oil change is still not complete and will not be for at least an additional 10 minutes according to the service advisor. I have watched several other people who arrived after me come and go to add insult to injury. There is no reason for this service to take as long as it has. **Update** The service advisor finally told me that it was taking so long because they don't stock the oil filter for my car and it took forever to get the part here. One, it should not have taken almost two hours to be informed of this since I could have chosen not to wait or have a friend grab me on the way to work. Two, I was told that I could take my car to any Autonation regardless of the brand for service. It's part of why I paid thousands of dollars extra for a service package and to have my first 10 oil changes included. Three, I listed the make and model of my car when I made the appointment so the oil filter should have been there. I will not be returning. read more

Very inconsistent service, with service agents constantly changing and giving uninformed timeframes for service. Last time we waited four hours for a battery change after being told that it would be about an hour. This time it took over three hours for an oil and lube change, when we were told that it would be 1 1/2 hours including a car wash. Then the service person told us that she had battery corrosion removed as a courtesy; the battery was replaced at this dealership a month ago! Either we were given a bad battery or she didn't know what she was talking about. The valet service is excellent and the drivers are pleasant and accommodating. But for service, we will probably be returning to Fort Lauderdale on Federal Highway, where the service department is much more knowledgeable and service more prompt. read more

I originally contacted the dealership at 9:42 am to confirm the availability of a 2012 Ford Focus SE listed on their website. I was told they did indeed have the vehicle and at that time I requested to place a deposit on the vehicle. I explained I already had the financing and needed to have the car held since I had to drive 6 hours one way to make the purchase. I was given a VIP appointment confirmed by email for the next day at 2:00 PM with the sales manager. I asked if I could place a deposit on the car and was originally told it wasn't necessary and they would hold the car until the appointment. I called back at 11:59 am the same day to request a buyers order be sent to the loan officer at the bank. I was told by the sales manager he would send the buyers order in 20 minutes. I asked again to place deposit on the car which he had informed me would be $500. He told me he needed me to confirm the figures on the buyers order first. I informed him I had seen the price of the car on the website and I understood there were additional fees so I didn't understand the need for my confirmation since I wanted to purchase the car. He insisted the step be taken so I agreed. By 12:39 I had not received a response from him so I called back on the direct line he had given me. He texted he couldn't speak at the moment so I reiterated the need for the information for the buyers order via text and time was of the essence so I could secure the car. No response. Three phone calls later, he finally answered the phone only to tell me they had just sold the car. Needles to say I was livid. After I had explained my situation with travel time, requesting to put a deposit on the car to show I was serious about buying, repeatedly calling and texting to move the process along, and wasting hours of my time, the sales manager failed to even notify me the car was in the process of being sold well after my initial contact. His response, "at the end of the day, I'm going to take the sale in front of me rather than the one where someone has to travel". While I will acknowledge I was angry, this behavior in automotive sales is at the very least unprofessional. Had he told me at any point prior to that the car was under contract, I would have calmly moved on. I have bought cars this way on two other occasions and never had this issue. This dealership has a 3 star rating on Yelp. I should have stood by my rule of only dealing with 4 star and above dealerships, but cars are difficult to find now. Locally I'm sure their service is adequate, but for the current time, with the era of technology, some accommodation has to be made for purchasers who must travel. Don't advertise a vehicle on Carfax if you can't or won't hold a vehicle for someone who is traveling from out of town. It is a disservice to the customer. read more

I recently purchased a new to me 2020 Ford XLT FX4 F150. I specifically mention the model because this truck was exactly what I needed and my salesman, David Lyons, who possess exceptional knowledge of not only this vehicle, but all models guided me right to it. The customer service was easily a five-star experience and a they were a first class operation from start to finish. They negotiated fairly, and when I asked about adding on a protective undercoat spray David Explain that the dealership did not offer that service, but offered to get it done from one of his sources for cost and stated it would probably cost me $200-$300. John, a manager that a friend of mine connected me with was exceptional. The guy who took care of me in finance was also named David. He was equally as pleasant to deal with as both David Lyons and John were. If you go in to the dealership with reasonable expectations I believe you'll be driving away with the car or truck of your choice or maybe even your dreams, I did! read more

I went online and ordered Ford Bronco. The way it works is you pick out the car you want and Ford assigns dealership to handle your order. I wanted to pick the car up in Delray so the order (as in free money) was sent to Grieco. Within 15 min of the order I get an email from the dealership and about an hour later a call from a salesperson (which I missed and it went to voicemail. Numerous calls, messages, emails since then have gotten ignored. No one has called me back. The only person I speak to is the receptionist he sends me to a voicemail. read more

Buyer Beware: This dealership took my $2000.00 and I got pre-approved on a 2020 F-150 I sold my truck that day and was heading down that night and my salesman Hussan and Todd called to say that they couldn't sell me the truck. Todd even said the owner would fire him if he didn't give the truck to the other store. Then they listed it for 3,000 more dollars. It gets better so I'm out my truck and they said they have other trucks so I'm pissed but need a truck so I find another 2020 F-150 that's 3000.00 more dollars. I asked if it has a clean auto check and Hussan said yes it does. So they have me e-sign the docs within minutes and I head down to get my truck (3 hours away). When I get there the truck is backed in next to another truck so I can't really see the right side to well. Todd the manager comes out to apologize for all the confusion. They don't even ask me to come in the dealership. I ask Hussan about a second key and he said he would order one from ford. I drive back to my house and the next day my truck smells like an ashtray. The cabin air filter was completely black. They must have sprayed the hell out of that truck to mask the smell. Then it takes two air cans and two chlorine dioxide tablets to get the smell out plus changing the air filter. After one week my detailer shows me the whole right side has been repainted and there's even over spray on the hood. But wait there's more! It rains for two days and now I realize my back passenger window fills up with water because it's not sealed properly. This is why nobody has bothered to call from the dealership and ask how my experience was. I'm dropping it off at the body shop to get fixed. Hussan called last week after a facebook post to tell me they are sending me check for the key and then says a GM will call me right back. LOL that was a week ago. I'm 60 years old and this was by far the worse buying experience ever. This dealership can't be trusted and I wonder if Mr. Grieco knows how his Ford store is being run. I was quite pleased with the sales team and the pricing on the car I just purchased. The Finance Manager, on the other hand, really disappointed me. He offered to give me an extended warranty if I used financing through his bank as opposed to through my bank. I agreed since he said "give" but when I was signing the loan paperwork i noticed that the total amount of the loan was not actually listed anywhere until the very last page of the agreement. Rather it was broken into monthly payments which seemed significantly higher than they should have been. Sure enough, the last page had a breakdown where I was charged around 800 dollars for a warranty, 300 dollars for a service contract, and the loan was for 2500 MORE DOLLARS THAN WE HAD AGREED TO. After some discussion he removed the service contract and lowered the amount back to what we had agreed to. Of course he said that he had just made a mistake, but it was a rather significant mistake, and in his favor. I am giving AUTO nation 3 stars simply because they have a great inventory, great prices, and a good sales team that was actually honest with me. read more

A Grieco Ford of Delray "service advisor" told me that the technician recommended the sway bars links be replaced and told me that the sway bar links were under warranty. I advised the service advisor that I would bring the vehicle in as soon as possible to have them replaced. The service advisor highlighted a notation on my paperwork regarding the sway bar links and told me to return with paperwork in hand. I called the same service advisor and reminded him of the discussion and he had me schedule an appointment to replace the sway bar links. Interestingly, I called the same service technician several times to see if I could come in earlier so that I could make a doctor's appointment but never received a call back. When I returned, the same service advisor said he may have mentioned that the sway bar links were under warranty but they didn't need to be replaced. I would not have returned to have the sway bar links replaced after multiple discussions on the subject if not told that it was it necessary. Thanks to this mishap Grieco Ford has lost a sale of a new SUV. My 2000 vehicle will not be replaced with a vehicle from this dealership. No response can explain this mistake nor would I return to the dealership for free service. Rather than trust this dealership with a simple oil change I visited a local Firestone. I have a small printed list of necessary repairs from them. What do you know, the sway bar links need to be replaced!!! A manager called me later after I call the dealership but he overlooked something very important. I have paperwork from the service advisor recommending replacement of the sway bar links. I agree with the folks that talk about scammers at Grieco Ford and Chevrolet. Received a flyer in the mail that made it seem like I won a Grand Prize of $25,000. After half an hour at the dealer and trying to sell me a new car, my prize was really a lottery ticket worth at most $500. I told them to stick it. When you read the print it says you have one "one of the five prizes". It doesn't mean that the item you have scratched off and matches the Grand Prize is really the prize you have one. Haven't seen this type of unethical ploy since the carnival games that make sure you only win the small prize. Only thing this did was make me NEVER want to buy a car from them. read more

Poorly run at this point. Liked this place better when it was Autonation. The GM Jo shouldn't be allowed to speak to people AT ALL. He is absolutely repulsive. When you can even get a hold of him after 5 attempts, all he likes to say is that "I've got other problems to deal with". Maybe I'm crazy but that's pry not something a CUSTOMER should be told. I can honestly say I bought my last Ford because of this place. I've been seeing the same service writer Zach for the last couple of years. He was awesome. Very disappointed when I called and was told he's no longer there. This place is incapable of holding on to its employees that contribute the most to Grieco. I'm the type of person that will drive out of the way for better service. This place relocated and was even further for me to go but still made the drive because I was always pleased with the work done on my car. KO'd. I bought a used Ford (not from the dealership) and didn't receive the extra key needed to adjust the settings of my vehicle. By day 3 of owning my car, the Check engine light came on, so I made an appointment to bring the car in on Saturday. I arrived at 7am and before I could even get out of the car I was told that there were no technicians working on Saturdays to asses the check engine light and that I would have to bring my car back during the week. Juan gave me his card at least and I made an appointment for Monday 7:30 am. When I come in on Monday, I'm now told that an extra key has to be ordered and that they don't have the parts needed for the valve problem related to the check engine light. As a full-time employee, I expressed the concern of needing a car for the day and was assured that there would be one, but to call ahead of time to confirm. Did I mention that Juan took my vehicle registration out of my car and lost it? I made ANOTHER appointment for Friday 7:30 am. On Thursday I contacted Juan to confirm that parts and key were in and a loaner was available for the next day. Parts were in but no loaner available. I couldn't be inconvenienced for a third day of no transportation and proceed to call the dealership for about 15 minutes trying to find an amicable solution. I was transferred 3-4 different times with no one answering and only getting voicemail. I kept calling until I was able to speak to someone who said I could bring my car in Saturday morning for service that I needed. Hector Garcia was less than welcoming when I arrived. Juan not only lost my registration, but they also couldn't find my files. I was then pressed about deductibles for the service and informed Mr.Garcia that all of this was under warranty. The 3 people in the service department continued to talk aloud about how unorganized Juan was and Hector seemed more annoyed, even barking at one of the other gentlemen in the service department who had his own customers standing in front of him. Then, after finding my order I was told there wasn't a shuttle service available on Saturday. I would have called my own Lyft but a gentleman in a tie asked someone else to drop me off. Less than an hour after dropping off my car I was called and informed that all the parts needed weren't ordered and that I would have to bring my car in AGAIN after they order the parts but my extra key was cut. I arrived to get my car. Hector tossed my keys at me. Usually, the car is ready for someone to pick up in the front area of the service department. I asked where my car was and his response was "Oh Yeah". My floor mats were rearranged, there's a new scratch on the screen of my navigation and sand EVERYWHERE. the steering wheel I could understand. But the underside of the center console? I will not be bringing my car to the dealership for a 4th time in 2 weeks. If they evaluated my car's check engine light as they said they did, it seems to me that forgetting to order all parts required is as careless as losing someone's new registration. Giving me the run around since last Saturday seems as disrespectful as bad mouthing the service employees in front of me and two other customers. I have a Ford dealership 15 minutes from me in the opposite direction. I hope they'll be more diligent in their job and save me the frustration of not being able to enjoy my new car. read more
