Avoid Griffith Ford San Marcos at all costs... Absolutely terrible experience.. Made an appointment online to drop off 2 2019 vehicles for oil change, tire rotation and 1 vehicle to get a State inspection, 1 that was purchased there (never again). Was told there were 5 cars in front of us and we were offered a ride. 3.5 hours later I call to check on the vehicles, advised need a couple more hours. 2 hours late I call and they are sending the shuttle, vehicles almost done. 1 hr later no shuttle (We live 10 mins away) so my son in law takes us to the dealer. Its now been almost 8 hours and I've wasted my and my wife's entire day off waiting. Get to the dealer and "Oh, I'm sorry it's been a very busy day" I say to the service advisor Dave, "8 hours for 2 oil changes, I made an appointment for 0800." A blonde lady, who had a phone in her ear, rudely says "That's just to meet your service advisor" and continues on with what she's doing. No where on the appt scheduler does it say that, and I've never waited 8 hours when I went to Maxwell Ford (Which we have several times, and will be going back to for future service AND sales). $145.00 later we walk out, I'm pissed off, no offer of a discount for our problems, no thank you, no service manager to be found. It got if I could give this less than one star I would! They repossessed my daughter's RV while she was out of town on vacation and she was not behind on not one single payment. We had a deal in progress with Jennifer and my brother was taking over the financial remainder of the contract and while we were out of town on vacation, Jennifer decided she didn't want that to happen so they went and picked up the RV, without telling my daughter. So when I questioned Jennifer about it over the phone while I was on my birthday vacation, she assured me it would not go on my daughter's credit as a repossession. Guess what just showed up on my daughter's credit as a repossession, yep they piece of s*** RV they sold my daughter. When I called to talk to Jennifer about it just now she told me not to call her again that that was Mr Griffin's decision. Do not ever do business with these crooked people. Within a week of purchasing the RV my daughter called them about electrical issues, the stove not working and the roof leaking and they would not help her. It's was garbage when my daughter purchased it. After signing all the paperwork to transfer the contract in her uncle's name on June 3rd 2022, we left for vacation on June 5th 2022, PMT was due on the 5th of June, Griffin took possession of the RV on June 7th. read more

Ok, usually I don't like to leave a review but this really called for me to let my people know that this car dealership is a ripoff. First they don't know what a business entity is. I wanted to conduct business with them not rip a titi off their chest. I was planning on buying two vehicles first to establish credit with them and then after 4 months 12 vehicles for two businesses i have that been establish well over 13 years both. first they called and said yes come down you got approved for two cars and lied to one of the members of the business and told them to come down to get it. Finance guy Shawn lied out his teeth saying he was working on our business credit and banks and got approved. He lied to 2 Veterans over the phone and called the member with BS on the cars and then too turn around and treat us like garbage. They treated to sell veteran a $47,000 car for $85000 profit. SMH.
