BBQ chicken burger with onions rings. Bbq plate with ribs and hot links
    Elizabeth R.

Jalapeños poppers: 10/10 best thing in their menu. Bbq burger: 2/10 The bbq sauce was good but the chicken was really dry. Not a huge fan. Onion rings: 6/10 Bbq plate ribs and sausage: 8/10. There's better bbq places than this place. The side of coleslaw: bland could be better 5/10 at least it was cold and not hot Mash potatoes: 5/10. Not the best mash but sadly on the drier side. The Long Island iced tea: I had 2 which was $36 for both, I don't know if that's a reasonable price, but the good thing that it was good, more on the sour side. Draft beer: i do not recall which one it was, but I'm not a beer drinker. I cannot give an honest review for it. The service was decent, checked on us 2 times after getting our food. It's a really nice restaurant inside, pretty big, heavy door when you come in. Just the food was not at its full potential.

Stopped here for lunch on our way home from Angels Camp. I ordered the raspberry chicken salad, but was brought the Southwest salad by mistake, so I had to wait while my companions started on their meals (no big deal). The waitress was very nice and apologetic and came back with the correct salad the second time, but this time the blue cheese was missing from the salad, so I had to wait again while she got the cheese; it wouldn't have been so bad, but the blue cheese is what pulled the salad together with the walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette! It definitely wasn't the waitress's fault, but she took it off our bill, which I thought was really gracious. The salad was good when they finally got it together! My two dining companions enjoyed their meals and the waitress was definitely welcoming and nice, so I'd go back if I was in the area again.

I had an ice cold stout in frosted glass. That hit the spot on a warm day. I had the brisket burger. I was wondering how much of a difference that is from a regular burger. It seemed not really much different although did seem denser. Left me wondering was I served something different? It came with onion rings that could have been hotter. The service was much better this time than my previous visit over a year ago. On my previous visit I had ordered pork ribs and taken the balance to go! This is a decent place to patronize. The interior is nice enough.

Simple and cute container for the coffee creamer.

First-time time stopping by this quaint town while driving back to the Bay Area. The downtown is like being in Universal Studios! It's really beautiful. Griff's caught my attention. The grand door is very welcoming. The Western interior is cool. I love it! It's a perfect pair for their menu. Their food is great too! Everything we ordered were tasty! The servers were very accommodating. They were busy with the lunch rush but they did their best to serve everyone! We have a new spot to go to when staycationing in Angels Camp.

The food here is great! The BBQ is spot on, and their burgers are huge and juicy delicious. The service and staff are fantastic. You feel like you're in a mine/mill ambience. I will definitely come back here, definitely!

Just what I needed.--the food was delicious, the service was amazing and so friendly, and the peaceful ambience made it even better. Plus, having a supercharger there was a lifesaver for the mountains!"

Stopped in for lunch. The service was good. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient. The restruant was clean and comfortable. The music was country. The food was terrific. I had a 1/2 rack of ribs. They were as good as any others I have had and I really like ribs. It came with a large side salad and onion rings. The burgers were so big they were hard for my dinner companions to finish. The chicken bites were more than a meal full.

I am not a drinker, but this non alcoholic beer was pretty tasty.

Great food! My husband and I split the pulled pork burger and my husband declared that it was the best pulled pork that he has had and I totally agree. Service was great and made sure your needs were met. We will be back!

Service was friendly. The food was average, nothing outstanding. It's what you would expect from a burger/rib joint.

Yazmin welcomed us at the door, told us to sit wherever we would like, and there were 2 other parties seated at tables. Really cute train themed decor (including a continuous model train close to the ceilings) throughout the place. I ordered a cup of coffee and Mi Rancho (chilaquiles with choice of red or green sauce, 2 eggs how you like them, refried pinto beans and Mexican rice) with red sauce (at Yazmin's recommendation) and sunny side up eggs. My boyfriend ordered a Coke and Pancake Combo with scrambled eggs and bacon extra crispy. And we split a side order of hashbrowns with country gravy on top. The coffee was hot, tasty, and the cup was filled when it was low. The chilaquiles with red sauce was so delicious!!! The flavor was pretty close to other chilaquiles I have had around the SF Bay Area. There was an ample amount of cilantro, cotija, and crema on top. Eggs were cooked as ordered, refried beans were satisfying, and the Mexican rice was better than most I have had over the years. I was very happy! Hashbrowns with country gravy hit the spot with the potatoes having some slight excess crispiness on the edges with the extra going home for leftovers (which reheated really well in the oven). My boyfriend very much enjoyed his pancakes and scrambled eggs. But he was not familiar with this particular thicker cut of bacon, which he was not a fan of, even though they did make it extra crispy as asked. I wouldn't mind having this chilaquiles with red sauce breakfast once a week if I could! It would be nice to try some of the lunch/ dinner offerings at some point. And Yazmin was so friendly, even with the locals that would stop on in throughout the morning, which always helps for a good experience. Copper Cove Restaurant is truly a gem for Copperopolis.

It is an impressive setting with great views; when one gets window or patio seating. Our meal lasted late afternoon to dusk, We saw one doe in somebody's front yard landscaping on the drive to Camps, and her herd on the green with the steel steer as we left. We started our meal with a delicious mocktail with sodw, lime, pineapple and? Then had a second with our shared skirt steak dinner. We are fiber fans in our 7th decade. I'd never eaten broccolini, unsophisticated me. Are the stems supposed to be tender as the asparagus stem end cut off and thrown away? Ours was. Great jaw exercise for our flapping chins and Lordy, Lordy! Such fiber. The steak and starch side were good. The dessert coffee (for me) and carrot cake (for us) was second among the several desserts on our south-north Spring 2026 Marathon Drive and Family Responsibility Tour. The advisor at our Best Western mentioned Mike's Pizza, a Thursday night Bocche Bowler on the Camps pitch mentioned Gus's Steak House. It was a fine night with the quiet, romantic elements Yelp is always quizzing about. Would we return or...too much fiber?

We planned on tipping generously, but got looked at bad and not accounted for because we were 10; we planned on tipping greatly and we were told that we were only allowed to sit outside; at almost 90 degrees outside when we all got there. because they didn't want to open up the back room. There was no problem with any other customers that were helped; but we were a group of 10 and a Sunday night of all nights. They never moved the tables for us, and when we moved them to accommodate for all 10 of us, we got yelled at because "the tables were breaking". I'm sorry but if they aren't gonna accommodate for 10 people planned on tipping generously for allowing us in; we will not be happy, pizza is great but service when sitting in the restaurant is awful. When the customers in the restaurant have to accommodate the tables to fit 10; but we have to move the tables ourselves and get yelled at for it because "they are breaking" but need to be moved back when we are done makes no sense. Pizza is great; service not so much.
