Menemen is not the most complex dish to make, but somehow they screwed it up here. The portion was fit for a bird, and that characteristic sweetness from domates salçası was totally absent. The shakshuka on a second visit was an improvement, but had an odd flavor profile from the peppers. One redeeming attribute? They offer şekerli (sweetened) Türk kahvesi, which is oddly hard to find in the States and is in my opinion far more palatable than the unsweetened bitter preparation.

On top of that, we were given tastes of dessert & liqueur - such a nice treat at the end of a long meal.
