15$ for Parmesan Truffle fries that don't have any truffle oil or barely a flake of Parmesan cheese .. Prices have gone up, quality has gone down and to make it even better your cooks don't have a care in the world. First and second time I understood , third time was the charm .. I'm never coming back. I also asked for bacon on these fries btw what a joke

We finally tried this place which is near us and always passed by... The restaurant is spacious and airy and in the Covid era has plenty of outdoor sitting, well spaced for social distancing. Of course, on a warm summer late afternoon, we sat outside... Service was friendly and prompt.. Our waiter was very courteous and offered recommendations without asks... Their menu is huge even now; I have heard that they had great daily specials in the past.. We we were in the mood to try a few plates so we ordered and split the following feast: Soup of the day: Clam chowder, Ahi Tuna salad, and Baby Back Rib dinner.. all gulfed down with a very cold chilled Chardonnay!! What a treat! Food was delish, atmosphere was perfect and the service at par! Grillestone, quite a find right outside our door!!!

Top Notes: - GREAT parking and plenty of it - Great indie/pop music playing; not too loud - Kind and attentive waiter (Anthony) - Reservation made and no waiting time to be seated - Appetizers taste amazing however rather expensive for the amount of food you get (not shown in photos but also got the shrimp cocktail) - Nice selection of drinks (I ordered the Raspberry Gin Fizz) perfect if you like sugary drinks Came in on a Wednesday night with my boyfriend. We sat right behind the bar at a booth. I would bring a sweater in here as it was rather chilly (but that could just be me). The mannerism of the staff was great! Bathrooms were super clean, food was FANTASTIC!!!!!! I'm a very picky eater and this was absolutely wonderful. Only negatives I have are the $20+ appetizers for the amount of food you get and our steaks took a little bit long to come out but that was quite alright given we had to apps and drinks to tie us over. I would come back here again!

Has to be four-star plus one! (They would lose 1/2 a point for mashed potatoes they either added mayo or sour cream) Garlic Shrimp gets four stars as well Over 5 stars were the Filet Mignon served on the stone as were the spinach and mushroom sides.... Service also over 5 stars Melvin was awesome!!!

My rating for Grillestone is a solid 3.5. My family and I initially made reservations at Grillestone for a Sunday brunch, but once we realized brunch was over at 3 ( we arrived at 2:30) we decided to just order off the lunch menu. Our waiter, Rob was GREAT!! He was so attentive, friendly and really did a great job managing my party of 12. The drinks were just as great. Personally, I had a fishbowl that was easily shared among three of us and another drink which I forgot, but it was great.. just a little too much ice! Beers, shots and a martini were also ordered around the table. For the appetizers, sushi, avocado toast, wings, and shrimp were ordered. I heard nothing but great things around the table for the appetizers and drinks. It was the food that I heard a lot of mixed reviews from. My Chicken pasta wasn't bad, I just thought it could have been slightly cooked a little more and the sauce needed an extra zing. Around the table, I heard that the burgers were great, but the salmon was a bit dry. I also heard great reviews about the chicken parm and steak. Grillestone wasn't a bad option for a large party on a Sunday afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers, drinks and my personal entree. I also really enjoyed our waiter, Rob who was nice, attentive and friendly. There was not one complaint around the table because our drinks, appetizers and food were coming out in a timely manner. I think Grillestone did a great job accommodating our party and I would def be willing to go back.

Updating my review to three stars based on the brunch experience. Friends of mine recommended the brunch at Grillstone, the price is right and the selection is very good. My daughter is a crab legs junkie and Grillestone offers crab legs on their brunch buffet every Sunday. The crab legs are sno crab and they very good. There is a chef preparing custom omelette and eggs. Fresh carved beef and turkey are available along with your standard brunch fare. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries etc. Macaroni and cheese, salmon are offered with a mimosa. The temperature of the food could be hotter and I would love to see eggs Benedict added....what is brunch without Benedict? I spoke to management about my previous review after brunch, the manager understood my frustration and is making an effort to improve. I will give dinner another chance and report the news.

Very good food , the music playlist was very good service was a little forgettable, it felt very comfortable where we sat.

We sat outside on a Saturday night and the tables were far apart for social distancing ( high-tops and regular seating). We were able to get near the fire pit to stay warm. I'd stay away from the sushi because it was a bit fishy (in a bad way; we actually returned it and they credited the bill), but the wings and other apps were delicious....also enjoyed the drunken clams, wedge salad, salad with grilled salmon, beet salad, brisket quesadilla, and Prime French Dip.

I have ordered takeout from grillestone several times but had never eaten in the restaurant. Last weekend, I came here for a little girls night with my friends. The food was good, the drinks were very inconsistent in how they tasted but the service was good. Our reservation was for 6pm and we were told we needed to leave at 7:30 because of the 90 minute time limit. This wouldn't have bothered me that much but there were like 6 other tables open on the patio at this time and no wait from what I saw. Probably wouldn't return anytime soon as I've had better dine-in experiences at other restaurants in the area.

We sat at the chef's table and had a limited 4 course selection to choose from. It began with a wonderful tuna crudo that was light and almost summery with the strawberries and cucumbers that surprisingly complimented the incredibly flavorful tuna. The spinach gnudi was a small salad that also had a number of components I would have never dreamed to combine, but they all paired nicely with each other. The main course was a lamb that was perfectly cooked, and though I didn't care for the accompaniment of figs, the rest of the dish more than made up for it. To finish off, we ended with asian pear crisp. You don't often see Asian pears incorporated into cooking. However, Asian pears actually being one of my favorite fruits this was welcome surprise and fantastic way to end the evening. Or so it would be, had they not brought out an additional crem bruele for my birthday, which was also excellent. I very very much enjoyed my meal here and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone. Sitting at the chef's table is also a special treat as I thoroughly enjoyed watching that process that is traditionally kept behind closed doors. I will definitely be making a return trip whether it's for new menu offerings or to try one of their cooking classes.

There were 4 courses, each one with 3-4 choices for diners to pick from. We sat at the chef's counter so we got to see how the staff worked and how the entrees were put together. Overall an expensive but worthwhile experience, great for celebrating special occasions.

I recently tried the chef's 8-course tasting menu, and it was perfectly paced--the small plates are proportionately sized so you leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed. Every dish is a standout with deep, "stacked" flavors; even the ingredients I was skeptical about ended up being favorites. Nothing needed a drop of extra seasoning. The service sets a warm, welcoming tone from the start. We were offered Oshibori (Japanese warm towelettes) to refresh our hands, and getting a fresh set of utensils with every course was a high-end touch I really appreciated. Menu Highlights: Taro Fritter: A sweet-textured appetizer inspired by Chinese desserts, topped with caviar and soy-pickled beets. It was a beautiful way to awaken the palate. Mackerel Crudo: As someone who isn't usually a fan of raw dishes, I was surprised by how much I loved this. It's light, perfectly acidic, and balanced with plum, ponzu, and apple. Grilled Sunchoke: This was "rustic elegance" in a bowl. The smell alone is incredible, and the combination of ginger crab and shellfish butter is pure comfort. Smoked Duck: Topped with black winter truffle and caramelized onions in a gochujang sauce--absolutely excellent cook and presentation. Braised Beef Cheek: So tender you can skip the knife and just use your fork. Since I forgot to BYOB, I tried their house-made Luck & Love hibiscus drink. It's hands-down the best hibiscus tea I've ever had--I actually tried to buy one to-go, but they only make enough for dine-in guests! It's a fantastic spot to bring friends or loved ones, though I'd recommend arriving early. The parking lot is extremely tight, so you might need to look for space in the lot next door.

It has a nice, elevated atmosphere, so you should dress semi-formal. Prices are on par with other upscale restaurants. The food has always been excellent and the service as well, most of the time. You absolutely MUST get the Clothesline Bacon as an appetizer. Make sure you slice some pickle with it and squeeze a little lemon juice on top! The manager urged us to try it that way during one of our visits - we never looked back. Rather than eating in the dining area, we chose to sit at the bar for their Foxy Hour (Happy Hour) offerings. There are plenty of tables surrounding the bar as well. We had the Clothesline Bacon, 6 Oysters, Hipster Fries, Spicy Lobster Mac, and we each got the happy hour burger. Everything tasted great, but the hipster fries were a little greasy and lacked the shishito peppers they had last time. We finished off with the Eclair Trio dessert from the Specials Menu. On two separate occasions we were seated at an awkward table in the back of the restaurant, right near the kitchen service area and door to the outside patio. We weren't thrilled to be there, as there was constant traffic in and out of the kitchen and through the doors. I think they should just do away with those seats, so everyone can have a relaxing dining experience no matter where they're sat. If you've got a special occasion coming it, Orchard Park is worth checking out!
