Nikki quickly got me a cold Miller Lite. Got a Cobb salad, very crispy and cold lettuce (awesome) and heaps of bacon n cheese. Really delicious. Then a bacon, pepperoni and pineapple Sicilian (I know, I know, no self respecting Sicilian would try that and it's a strange combination but a waitress in North Dakota turned me onto it) pizza (with homemade pizza sauce) with a spicy hot honey drizzle on top really hit the spot. A large is so HUGE that I could only finish two slices and had the rest boxed up for home. Another great dinner. If you haven't made it over yet, put it on your list and make the trip! While working in Hanover today, I let Facebook guide me to Divino Pizzeria & Grille to give their wings a try. I ordered a dozen, split between Old Bay dry rub and Mango Habanero, served with bleu cheese and celery. First, the positives: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean, the staff friendly, and the restrooms were spotless -- always a good sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now, the food: The wings were... just okay. * The Old Bay dry rub barely had any Old Bay flavor -- a disappointing 4/10. * The Mango Habanero had more promise, but the flavor lacked complexity -- I'd give them a 6/10. Then came the celery -- take a look at it. Who thought that plating was acceptable? A 2/10. The bleu cheese dressing didn't help much either. It lacked the rich, creamy, chunky texture you'd expect. Another 4/10. That said, the menu is quite extensive, and some of the other dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen looked genuinely appealing. We weren't sure what to expect on a Friday night for our first time here, given the past Yelp reviews. Our waitress, named Jade, was very friendly, and explained the menu thoroughly to us, after we let her know this was our first visit here. We ordered a pizza and wing deal with a large pepperoni pizza and a dozen teriyaki wings. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the wings were huge! First, a little bit of neighborhood care would be nice. Maybe a walk around the neighborhood. More neighbors are getting involved. I have spoken with Penn township and received a reply but it went to my junk file so i was late seeing it. Honestly i think you have an outside bar after dinner and it has no place in a neighborhood no matter what days of the week every week but if you plan to stick around perhaps you could do your part as well. I did mine and came to you and you offered absolutely no help whatsoever. Im not surprised because when we ordered from you and the driver forgot part of the order they told me they were too busy to go back and get it so if i wanted it, i need to go get it. I order food at 6pm and it said 7:15pm estimated delivery no one showed up so I called and they said they were delayed and a driver was heading out now to deliver 8:00pm rolls around and nobody shows up I called somehow the pizzas were never sent out and now they have to make new one they issue me a refund but now my family is doesn't get food this is ridiculous read more

Went this past Wednesday which is their wing night. Typically go on Monday and it's dead. But today it was completely packed: every table was full and there were additional reservations; looked like a few large birthdays. Pros: 1. Traditional wings are crispy 2. Crab pretzel app is one of the best in the area, pretzel is soft and not a frozen super pretzel that is served at other places. The crab dip topping doesn't taste canned/fishy and is a tasty mixture. 3. pizza is good and crispy when asked for well done. 4. kids meals are solid for slice of cheese and drink for 4.49. 5. Fresh homemade bread for the subs 6. Decent weekly specials Mon-Wednesday 7. Waitress was attentive and tried to keep up with a packed house. Cons: 1. Wings are dusted in cornmeal, I believe, which allows that crispy texture. It's at least not flour. But I'd rather just have plain wings. This is at least the next best. 2. All wing sauces are from containers and not homemade, you can see them in the kitchen as you walk in on the top shelf of the back wall. Sweet baby rays, you name it, it's all from a plastic container (they had a hot peach for the week/month which might have been homemade, but was overly sweet and artificial tasting like a peach ring instead of a real peach,) 3. Wing price is $0.83 per wing for the Wednesday special and you can get better deals at a lot of other places in the area. Even when those places make homemade sauces. 4. If you get basil on the pizza they put it raw after they bake it. Ask for it prior to cooking. We had 10 pieces of basil when I can see 25+ pieces on other photos of pizza. Guess you need to ask for extra basil but it's 1.50 already per topping and so there isn't any consistency. 5. The pepperoni pizza is beyond greasy. So much, that it just pulls oil, definitely don't see this often maybe if you order triple pepperoni at other places to give you an idea of the oil 6. Fries are trash and from frozen, half soggy half with black ring rot that no one wanted to eat. 7. Cheesesteak is made with what tastes like frozen minute steak, definitely not fresh like they say. It's under-seasoned and my kid couldn't even finish it. They are not shaving fresh ribeye in the back for these and you can tell. 8. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating by the front entrance is a crap show with the to go orders and staff trying to walk by and constantly bumping into your table. Seating by the back wall air conditioners are also terrible too with water dripping and inconsistent levels of temperature.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 9. The ranch from for the wings tastes homemade but is liquidy from I'm guessing too much buttermilk. It is under seasoned as well. But when I put it in the fridge for 24 hours it definitely solidified which makes me question how they store the sauce. 10. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Men's bathroom was beyond disgusting with a river of piss under the urinals and so much urine all over the toilet when I tried to take my daughter to the stall that we had to clean it so she could use it. Wall mounted soap dispensers don't have soap anymore and they now have pump soap dispensers. Every part of the bathrooms is vile. Watched a guy come out after using the stall, not flushing, and not washing his hands. Definitely not on you but you should have seen how many staff/patrons he touched, shook hands with, all while grabbing napkins and straws at the bar. We have eaten from this restaurant before. Last night we decided to get subs delivered. We ordered one cheese burger sub and a surf and turf cheesesteak. Both were delicious and fresh! They were delivered fairly quickly for a Friday night. I did feel bad because there was some confusion on the tip. They do charge a delivery fee and on the app it showed a tip section. I thought it included it because it showed a % on that section. I later realized that it didn't. So to my delivery person I'm very sorry for the mistake. read more

My wife and I were in Hanover getting our newborn's pictures done down the street and looked for a quick place to stop and grab lunch. Divino's was recommended to us from our photographer and it certainly did not disappoint. The chicken cheesesteaks were delicious. A slice of pickle pizza caught my eyes when I came to pickup the subs, and it was indeed a fine selection as well. The fries were also a great pair with the subs. That pie had so many different flavors i would've never thought would work together but it was D-E-L-I-S-H!!!!! I also have tried the margarita pizza, white pizza, and so many other pies. I was in the area with my family and I couldn't help but take notice of the positive reviews Divino's received. I'm all about great pizza and my expectations were kinda high. The parking lot is metered, but very inexpensive. The restaurant is seat yourself and order at the counter. They give you a number and stand so they can bring your food to the right table. I ordered an old world style pizza with basil and an order of cheese fries. The pizza was pretty sub par. The sauce really lacked flavor, some of the crust had char pieces and there seemed to be pretty minimal cheese. Some parts of the pizza were so sauce covered it was a bit soggy. The basil was also left off. After asking for it they brought some to the table. The fries were good, but the cheese was straight up nacho cheese sauce. The staff seemed nice, but that's hardly enough to bring me back. I have no idea what these other reviews speak of when they say this is some of the best pizza they've had. Not Impressed as others! 1st off.......apparently in PA, you can BYOB !!!! There was a large group of old folks that came in....sat next to us, brought in their own beer, wine and Jack Daniels. We watched them walk into the kitchen area to chill a box of wine before they sat down. I thought they were the owners. But I over heard them say they do this EVERY 1st Saturday of the month. I was taken aback that people off the street could just walk into the kitchen area, touch things without washing hands.... Judging by their juvenile behavior, they had already started their party prior to coming in....they were so loud and talked almost the entire time about bodily functions and surgeries and it was so nasty. We order a large pizza......and wanted an Anti pasta salad.....was told they don't offer one.....WTF? I asked for a regular crust cut into small slices. After 30 minutes, it was brought to our table.....8 slices only. While it looks good.....it wasn't. It was UNDER cooked, soggy and the onions were between the sauce and the meat....so they were cold. They give you (1) cheap paper plate to eat off of. Don't ask for another one.....you won't get it. We are staying in the area for a while, but we won't return. I am sad for the people who feel this is great pizza.....they need to get out more. read more

Divinio is the best pizza in Hanover! We used to live closer and go there all the time. Now whenever we are in the area we make sure to stop by. Having not been in Hanover before and most everything being shut down, we tried this pizza spot on a whim. OH MY WORD IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!! My daughter is a pizza lover and she was so impressed with how delicious the crust was. When I told my wife about this place, she looked at the menu and noticed cauliflower and gluten free crust and wants to try them.
