The cheese pizza, and the box that they come in
Samantha D.

We got their pizzas to go and needless to say if you like margarita pizzas this is the place to go. The food was so authentic. I definitely will be coming back with my husband for a date night. The place look amazing look like I stepped straight into Italy to be honest it's so pretty. My son even said they were really nice when he walked in with his dad to get the pizza I definitely would recommend

Went in for my free birthday pizza ( sign up for the app) . The service was great and the pizza was delicious I went with the white pie .

Excellent customer service by Amanda. The kitchen overcooked my pizza again, second visit. I always request super lightly cooked, but it always comes out overcooked. Amanda offered to recook. Short on time I couldn't wait, so she gave me the overcooked pizza for free. Dimitri is a customer service ace too.

Caesar salad
Anabelle D.

Very good pizza and salad. Our salad was fresh with a good amount of cheese and zesty dressing that was also a little creamy. The pizza had meatballs, sausage, and pepperoni creating a very meaty pie. Service could have been a little more attentive since we had to wait for drink refills several times but overall we enjoyed ourselves and left satisfied.

Burnt $30 small GF pizza with two toppings

For some reason they charge $4 for ricotta but don't want to put it on the pizza. This used to happen half the time, lately it's been every time. Last pizza had a tiny amount on one slice. I will be finding a new pizza spot.

18"x12" "large" pizza
Jim G.

I've been a long time customer. The food quality has suffered however and I'll find some other pizza spot. I ordered two large pizzas to pick up. 18" is the advertised size and priced accordingly. I picked up the pizzas, it made the mistake of trusting Grimaldi's because I've been here many times. One pizza was fine and all were happy with it. The second pizza was not what I expected nor what I paid for. Not a round 18" pizza, it was 18" x 12". I just felt ripped off. I know it's not a life & death situation, but it was enough that I won't be back. I included pics of both acceptable and unacceptable pizzas.

Apple walnut salad

The pizza is AMAZING!!! We live in CA & whenever we drive here to NV we always come to Grimaldi's. We order the Don, so good. And we split the Apple Walnut spinach salad. I think the last time we drove out, we went here two nights out of a three nights stay, lol.

Brooklyn bridge and calzone

Can't really complain. Food always been good. Sometimes there has been hit and miss but that's everywhere. I tend to always get the same order. Brooklyn bridge with the calzone. Very light and delicious. Great place

The Don
Patrick C.

Fantastic pizza place! GET HERE EARLY! Yes its in a strip mall but the doors to this place are magic and they transport you to the incredible experience of Grimaldis Pizzeria once you walk through them. The pizza here is outstanding. Take it from a pizza connoisseur. Service is excellent however they cook a scratch made pizza here, it will be longer than 12 minutes and WELL worth the wait. I am sure take out is just as good but for the correct experience come in, they have a kick ass bar to keep you "patient" as they cook your pie.

Ordered Uber eats twice & both orders were successful. Not disappointed yet Best pizza for a chain.

Small house salad
Larry N.

Still an amazing place to get a pizza in the neighborhood. Great, friendly staff. Outstanding pizza. Our goto is still a small salad to split and an 18" margarita pizza. The small salad is still more than enough for 2 adults to split.

Pick up yummy

I've been a fan of this pizza place for many many moons! Pizza is one of my favorite because when in doubt you can't go wrong with pizza, that's my motto & this place makes my favorite pizza It's well worth the drive, that's for sure! I love the salads, pizza, desserts & wine! I always return here for the best of everything they make! Yummy

The matcha parfait was good with a nice creamy texture and flavoring. However, I have one complaint. When coming with two others where we are lactose sensitive and with one having an allergy to oats, they wanted to try the matcha latte's and we asked if they can make with almond milk . The female worker said they don't have almond milk and only do oat or whole milk which was odd, and I asked again to confirm and was told no. They ended up having to do whole milk despite being lactose intolerant and was bothered. I look through here from comments by the owner saying that they CAN substitute with almond milk, which is confusing and a little annoying that we were told they don't substitute almond milk and was never told a reason why. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

The recent visit was a little chaotic because my two-year-old nephew accidentally spilled my entire drink all over me . It made a huge mess on the table and floor, and I felt so bad. One of the girls came over right away to help clean everything up and was so nice about it. They even offered to make me a new drink, which I definitely wasn't expecting and really appreciated. Thank you again to her!! Stuff like that is why I keep coming back. The matcha is always amazing, and everyone who works here is so friendly. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good matcha spot in Vegas.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
