And when we ordered a few items that were out of stock, she said quickly/rudely said they don't have them, and gave no other suggestion. She made us feel like we were irritating her just by being there at the bar. She only smiled and laughed with the other bartender working the well joking about nonsense. While leaning over just looking at him. She also did not pack our leftovers when a previous server had done so kindly in the past. We arrived and were told that although they were stoking the oven, they were still cooking pizzas. We waited 10 minutes for a table. Ordered a 12 in The Don pizza, small ranch salad, and classic bruschetta, plus drinks. Drinks and bruschetta came. Then shortly thereafter my husband's salad. The waiter then disappeared. We waited for quite a long time when the manager came over to the general seating area, greeted everyone but us, the informed everyone but us that pizzas were taking 45 minutes. Then the waiter came out, ignored us, but told everyone else the pizzas were running 45 mins. When the pizza arrived, we weren't offered new plates or parm by the bus girl. The waiter didn't even come over to check on us until we'd eaten half of it and then he just gave us the thumbs up and ran off. Then he came to offer us dessert and toss the bill at us. While it's a bit on the pricier side, the quality absolutely makes it worth it. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere has a great local vibe. Just a heads-up, it does get busy on weekends, so we recommend going early to beat the rush. They recently introduced a rewards program, which is a great bonus, though it could use a little more promotion we didn't even know about it until a family member mentioned it! I love Grimaldi's thin crust pizza. All the toppings are high quality. All the salads I've tried have been great and the Caesar is my favorite. My husband doesn't eat salad, so I wish the small was smaller, like a side salad option like they offer for lunch. The service is always just ok for me. I love their house passion tea, it's always been my favorite. I usually order water but opted for tea and noticed the server filled the cup up more than halfway with water and then topped it off with tea. Now obviously tea is made with water, but why are you diluting it even more?! If you're going to charge $3.50 for tea, the least you can do is give a full cup of tea. read more

The restaurant has gone down a bit over the last several experiences. They still have the best tasting pizza in the valley, at least in my opinion, however the service has been very hit and miss and I dont know if they are near a sewage line, but the outside of the restaurant always smells like sewage. This last experience our food was great, but I don't know if understaffed due to the holiday, but our server took a long time to greet us and then the food took almost 50 minutes to get to the table, at the time we ordered, the restaurant was only at half capacity, but it just seems they have not prioritized quality and timely service. Looking at a lot of the recent reviews and it seems the same. We tried to visit 2 weeks back and we got there an hour before the oven stoking time and they said they wouldn't make our pizza as too close to the stoking time, which again restaurant was nearly full and we weren't really that close to the oven closing time, so they must expect the pizza to take an hour. Even when not busy. I will still continue to come back as I love the food, just it is a shame as I always loved the experience and now. Not so much. read more

The pizza was absolutely amazing! However, it is pricey, you will wait quite a while to get it. The service was just okay. Also, we sat outside and although the heaters were a nice touch, the tables and chairs were a cheap patio metal and weren't very comfortable to sit in at all. We waited about an hour to sit, which we didn't mind and was expected since it was a Friday evening, and we had a party of 8. Once we did finally sit, we ordered our drinks and food right away. That's when we heard another large party already complaining that they were missing a pizza and that half of their party had eaten already and they still didn't have their second. All of the pizzas coming out looked so good tho, that we brushed it off as a fluke and stayed to order ours. The drinks took quite a while to come out and then arrived separately too. My wine came out about 10 min or so later than the first drinks did. They didn't have a big beer selection to begin with, and the one beer we ordered they ended up being out of. We got our salads after about a good 20 min more of waiting. And they were good, and crisp, but they could have used more toppings. Finally, after about an hour wait, the first pizza came out - we ordered 4 in total. A few minutes later one of the kid's small pizzas came out. The first pizza was already completely eaten by the one side of our table before the third pizza finally came out for the adults on the opposite side of the table. And then finally even another 10-15 min after that, the 4th pizza finally arrived. Overall, the pizza was absolutely amazing, however the seating, and coordination of service and getting the pizzas out to serve a large group wasn't very good at all. The service is always great, the waiters are great about making recommendations if needed. What a fun evening last night at the Boo Bash at Parkwest. Everyone had a great time even our 4 legged fur babies. We went to Grimaldi's. On these days with events, the wait was a bit long. But, it was worth the wait because our server Alicia went above and beyond by asking her manager if they can extend my birthday pizza reward. I missed mine due to personal reasons.
