I did call the restaurant & report this to the manager & I was asked to return the food so that the problem could be corrected. Vibe- There is a very spacious dining room (some seating outside is available too). There's a pretty big bar on one side of the restaurant. I love the furniture, it's all colorful and very inviting. Customer service- Great! From the moment I walked in everyone was kind and helpful. My server was Kris and Kris was attentive and very nice! Food/drinks- I had no idea this was on the menu! Listen! This place is one of our go too places. Love this Tex Mex Magic going on here. The food is always fresh and drinks never disappoint. Anthony has been our server more than once and when I tell you he is amazing and always makes sure we want for nothing so if in the Stafford location check him out. For lunch I had the seafood enchiladas this is one of my favs the shrimp and crawfish taste so fresh and when you add the cheese its a bite of heaven. Always a good TexMex meal here. It's very consistent as well with any of their locations, and I've been to at least a few around town. Their chips and green and red salsas are the best in town. And they will pack some Togo chips and salsa for you if you ask nicely. read more

I really wasn't expecting much from a place called "Gringo's". If anything, I was expecting a low quality of Tex Mex that would be more comparable to Taco Cabana than the places off Navigation Blvd in Houston. In some cases, that's true, but overall, I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the best Tex Mex I've ever had, but it's up there in the "better than most" range. On the whole, Gringo's has a great selection of Tex Mex fare and the quality is solid. I've sampled a variety of items from their enchiladas to their tacos to their fajitas, and everything has been good or great. I highly recommend the fajitas, which come with unlimited homemade flour tortillas. My wife prefers corn tortillas with most dishes, but even she goes with flour tortillas over here. The prices are fairly reasonable, staff is extremely friendly, service is quick, and the food always comes out hot and fresh. It can be hard to find a parking space during dinner hours (even on weeknights), but they have a to go space on the far right side of the restaurant which works great of ordering ahead for pick up. read more

They have great food and great service. I can't complain. The wait wasn't that long considering how busy they were. The food didn't take that long to arrive and it was pipping hot when it came. My margarita was delicious; I recommend it. The hosts were nice and our server got a few laughs out of us. The only bad thing (which isn't their fault) is that their parking lot is too small. I was lucky to find a parking spot after about 5-7 mins of waiting but some people had to park at the sams next door. I will be back. read more

This visit I ordered the marisco bowl with added fajita chicken and a side order of charro beans. The marisco bowl was delicious, and I am so glad I ordered it as I was not sure what I wanted to order this visit, but I made a good choice; but next time I will do without the fajita chicken--I was not crazy about the texture--it tasted like prepackaged already grilled chicken. We try to low carb it so we got and enjoyed the queso loco with pork rinds, we didn't eat many corn chips....I need to ask for one corn and one flour tortilla 'cause that's all I allow myself to eat. We shared the three amigos and Pepe dinner.....four different kinds of enchiladas all done very tasty, a slice of avocado garnished the top, this came with borracho beans and rice as a side. This location hosted my first journey to the Gringo's Chain. Since ordering my first Marisco bowl, which features refried beans then Spanish rice on top then crawfish and shrimp mixed together with a white wine wine sauce and blended cheese on top baked to perfection, I have found no other meal for me. During this trip my guest enjoyed seafood enchiladas. I will order that next time, except I will ask the shrimp and crawfish be placed on the inside of the cheese enchilada instead of the outside.
