No bathroom and no hand cleaning station during our lovely covid? Not even hand sanitizer! The wait was 100x horrible over 50 minutes with a full staff. As the only customers inside, it just felt cold hearted to not even approach for a refill of long emptied drinks or address the wait. I suggest Not going here, They obviously cannot handle a single 3 party group. The burger made my friends laugh because they heard me ask for no sauce and natural fries, My burger made a patty size pile of really wet fry sauce and the fries were burnt crinkle cuts. I officially no longer even like grizzly Den. I am ashamed I brought an out of towner there to it. Shameful! I will never return to a former fave burger place. GROSS! read more

Fresh food in a drive in, a rarity these days. The owner has this right, cater to the school kids, the locals and tourists all in their own way with a clean and pleasant dining area and restroom. Two different menus and also hard ice cream from the case. My only quibbles are way too many fries with the fish and chips and the fact that homemade doesn't always make food five stars. read more

This place is great! Stopped in after a trip to Ocean Shores. The burgers are terrific! I got the Grizzly Burger and it is probably the biggest burger I have ever had. The fries were good but not the kind of fries you want to eat a lot of. I got the homemade fries. They also have crinkle cut fries. The service is great and very friendly. Nice seating inside. Just a great place for a burger! I highly suggest the Grizzly Burger. It is for a big appetite. My girlfriend got the mushroom burger and she loved it. So, my husband and I have been passing by this place, as the guys in the previously posted review, on our way to the ocean for many years. Honestly, I don't know how long they have been in business. I am embarrassed to say we never stopped at least once just to check them out. Their burgers are awesome. Outrageous, honest to goodness real potato home fries. Hand-cut every day. I got the double cheese burger. Huge. Ate half for lunch saving the other for lunch tomorrow. Husband had the bacon cheeseburger. We have moved to Ocean Shores from the Seattle area. Their food all-in-all surpasses some well-known businesses there. The Grizzly Den is now our go to burger joint. Can't say enough good things about the taste of the burgers. By the way, we didn't get to try their hand packed ice cream. Next time. Can't wait. read more

And fry sauce: To be clear, here is the recipe: Cup of ketchup, cup of Mayo, one tablespoon of worstershire, and a dash of hot sauce. No mustard!! Maybe we just hit them on a bad day, but it took about 15 minutes for our burgers and it wasn't great. The burger was over cooked and bun was like a hockey puck. The staff was really friendly, and did apologize for the long wait. I would give them only one star but I got the feeling that they were short a cook or something. Their fries with fry sauce was worth the extra calories. Next time I will probably order something other than a burger. read more

Oh my gosh! Best burger ever! My husband and I both had the mushroom swiss burger and shared an order of handcut fries. The meat patty was thick and definitely not from a box out of the freezer, and the fries were cooked to perfection. So many fresh toppings on the burger as well, including a yummy goop. Our only complaint was that we were too stuffed to have ice cream afterwards. We will definitely be back! read more

We stopped here with our 4 kids. They have a fabulous size kids meal with burger, fries, drink and ice cream. Great deal. Burgers are all hand packed and fresh. Get the homemade steak fries. And be sure to get some fry sauce. We will be back next time we go to Ocean Shores. read more

We wanted a greasy spoon where we could find good burgers, fries and shakes before we continued our drive to the coast, and boy did the Grizzly Den deliver! A quaint little stop along (I think) the main road, this place struck me as the epitome of a mom and pop shop, complete with a teenage boy running the grill! I love supporting local business and small hole in the wall places, and it's easy to do that when their burger patties are plump and juicy and their shakes are as incredible as what this place serves. I do have to doc points for their bun, not a fan of the specific kind they used because it flaked off along the edges and broke in half as I went in for my first bite. Still, a solid local joint to fulfill your greasy and fast food desires. If I'm ever back in the neighborhood, I'm definitely coming back for more blackberry shakes!! read more

We have been passing by this place for a few years on the way to Ocean Shores and we finally decided to stop. My wife and I ordered cheese burgers and fries. They have to be the best burgers we have ever had at a burger place. We come from the land of franchises (5 Guys, Smash Burger, Habit Burger, Shake Shack, and the mighty In n Out burgers) and none of them can hold up to the Grizzly Den. Burgers are 1/4 pound and done on a flat top that provide an awesome taste. The bun was fresh and the fries hand cut. The Den will become a regular stop for us now. read more

The kids meal is a pretty good deal but the other stuff on the menu is a little expensive (the reason I only gave 4 stars.) also the booths and paint inside could use an update but I do like their bear theme. Wow. Totally blown away by this place! I've driven by this place for years and never stopped in. Big mistake! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is equally as great! Everyone there is really friendly. I had a cub burger with cheese and fry sauce. I asked for the patty to be cooked well-done and it was cooked to perfection! We also split the homemade fries and a chocolate malt. Absolute heaven. The beef patties are homemade and everything is really fresh. We're definitely coming here more often! read more

You know how Ma and Pa burger stands are, they are hit and miss. This is a hit! These guys get it right. The service was great, the employee morale was good and they have a true passion for what they do. I had the cheeseburger. The patty was thick. They use cheddar cheese (an educational word about cheddar cheese on burgers -if the cheese is left on the patty too long, the oil from the cheese melts into the meat patty making the burger have a translucent orange tinge on top -not what you want, but sometimes it can't be helped, making the burger really greasy. Try asking for cold cheese. The cheese grease is still there, but it's not in the meat patty). I asked for extra cheese. The home fries were very good. The price and value is outstanding, a similar price as you would expect to find in a hamburger stand, but much more value. When your on the way home from the beach, stop here. read more

5 stars flat out. I come in here on work breaks and recently brought in some buddies to share in the experience after a week long backpacking trip in the Olympics. Food is fantastic, well cooked, good portions. Very tasty. Ice cream shakes are delicious too. The customer service is unparalleled.
