Chicken Gyro. Bits and pieces of overcooked decrepit rubberized looking meat. Inedible. SAD!

Ordered 2 Chicken Gyro Pita Sandwiches. They were cold to the touch upon just prepared order. Pathetic to start. Then, my wife and I were trying to find the right one word description to sum it all up and we looked at each other and both said "disgusting". I don't know how this place is in business. It's unconscionable to serve such crap to a dog.

This just became my favorite place for gyros in Fairfield county. I love the traditional gyro meat on the spit and this place has just that! You can choose from lamb, pork or chicken. I went with the green salad topped with lamb gyro meat. The meat was awesome and the salad consisted of cucumbers, tomatoes, onion and feta. Pita bread also comes lining the bowl. The salad along with the meat was very tasty. The tomatoes were juicy and flavorful and the feta had the right amount of tang and crumble. The place is clean and the service friendly. I'll be coming here fairly often.

Holy cow, these GRK fries are amazing!! I am not usually the biggest fan of cheese with my fries, but I would have these all day long if my scale and waistline allowed it. Definitely a tasty treat when you want to indulge. The fries were still crispy when I got home and the feta had melted in a bit. The combination, along with a touch of oregano, was perfect. The saganaki, or fried Greek cheese, brought me back to my trip to Athens a few years ago. It's cooked just like they did in the restaurants in the Greek capital. Unfortunately the spanakopita was out after a busy day, so I ordered the the tiropita, rolled fillo with cheese inside. They were good, but I would probably go earlier next time and get the spanakopita. I took my food to go, but the restaurant is a cute little spot decorated several steps above the typical ethnic takeout spot. Next time I am going to dine there and enjoy the authentic Greek food where it's made. Oh, I should mention that the young woman who took my order was very friendly and helpful. I redeemed an expired Groupon and it was all done with zero hassle, which was much appreciated.

Food is great and service is even better! Had the grill combo for two, my wife and I really liked it.

My family and I went to Anasa for a special Celebration Dinner…read more It was wonderful!! Stevia/owner was very attentive and engaging. We split several appetizers and one was better than the other. For dinner, I had the whole fish which was delicious! The others had various specials. The Filet Mignon was beautifully presented and was tender and perfectly cooked as were the Lamb Chops. The Pastitsio and Moussaka were also excellent! We split a few of the different desserts and they were all scrumptious and quite decadent . (Unfortunately, there were no leftovers for doggie bags)! All of the food portions were plentiful and everything was amazing. The food was absolutely superb! Anasa is the perfect choice for a celebration, family get together or even for a quiet romantic dinner. It does not disappoint!!

I ordered lunch from work for the residents on my last day of service. No one could decide what…read morethey wanted so I took one for the team and fought my baseline indecisiveness. I hadn't had mediterranean in a while and I'm not head over heels for the place near me so I wanted to try something new. This place seemed decent enough. I ordered a greek salad and hummus with pita. There were varying gyros, another greek salad with chicken, some platters including the falafel platter that GF orderd. My salad was wonderful. The ingredients were fresh and that dressing was lovely. It was a salad I actually enjoyed instead of regretting the entire time I glared at my coworkers who ordered real shit with envy. The hummus was also very creamy, authentic hummus with a slightly different taste than I am used to but head and shoulders above any store bought bullshit. Everyone else said good shit about their food. I tried one of GF's falafel from her platter and it was really good. My only complaint is for $24 or whatever it is, i would expect more than a few falafel balls and one side. Kinda a rip off. But everything tasted really, really good.

Kouzina Greek Tavern & Bar caught us at the perfect time, right in the middle of Restaurant Week,…read moreand the value on display made the whole meal feel like a small heist in the best way. We started with red and white sangria, both generous pours and both dangerously easy to drink, fruity without being cloying, the kind of thing that makes you reconsider your pace for the rest of the meal. On the appetizer side, the keftedes arrived perfectly seasoned and juicy, paired with a cool, garlicky tzatziki that balanced them out nicely. The pita came warm and pillowy, ideal for scooping up the skordalia, which had that rich, punchy garlic and potato thing going that either makes you fall in love or makes you apologize to everyone you talk to for the rest of the night. We chose love. For entrees, the Mediterranean chicken kebab was a clear standout, tender, well charred, and served with rice and broccoli that didn't feel like an afterthought (broccoli sidekicks are usually forgettable, this one wasn't). The wrapped chicken souvlaki classiki, served with fries, was comforting and satisfying, proof that sometimes the simplest option on the menu is doing the most work. Service moved at a great pace throughout, attentive without ever feeling rushed, which is impressive given how busy the room clearly was for Restaurant Week. The ambience had a warm, lived in tavern feel, the kind of spot where you don't mind lingering over that last sip of sangria.
