We were scheduled to start at 10 AM , they arrived two hours late!! He said that one of his coworker car broke, I sent him a message to ask if they are going to show up or not, it eventually took two hours for them to come. The office desk Wheels were broken because they stacked things on top of it and broke the wheels , attached a pic for reference. I do not recommend them. read more

Last minute purchase of a heavy sectional couch that needed to be moved today. I called Groovin Movin and spoke with the Owner, Andrey. I asked for a lot needing the couch moved the same day I called for help. Andrey was very quick to help me out. He made arrangements for two movers to meet me for pickup with their truck to load & move the large piece of furniture to my home. Advertised insured and can move Pianos. This is a huge misleading and not a piano mover. The mover showed up with 2 guys with strap trying to lift/move a 500+ lbs piano. Piano was not properly padded/protected/tied down and strap came off during transportation causing crushed corner and scuff marks along edges. When confronted, mover tried to deny that the loose strap would cause damage and wanted prove. Luckily I took pictures during the move and showed them to him of the piano perfect condition during move, before put to the truck and loosely strapped. Mover, then claimed they're $0.60/lb insured?! What the ####? They tried pushing the piano on the street asphalt/concrete until I confronted that I didn't think the wheels on piano was designed for them to push on street asphalt/concrete. Very disappointed with the experience, and was still fully charged, $425. Stay away from this mover. read more

Do not ever use this company. He showed up late. Did not complete the job. He was given permission to only move things out of my garage on a return trip and went back into my home without permission removed and stole items that were not for his taking. Including female Burberry sunglasses remotes for our tv's. When confronted about what he did he stated he would retune the items never did. He is a thief do not use this company. Andrea's only real focus is what he can get from your home rather then moving your possession as he was hired to do. I personally feel taken advantage of. If I could do no stars I would. read more

Andrey answered a last minute call to help unload a U-Haul truck into our storage unit on July 4th holiday weekend. We had a good amount of heavier items. They worked quickly, gave us some local recommendations, and followed my directions on how to place items into the storage unit (heavier furniture on one side, boxes etc on the left). The workers did a good job but the language barrier mad it difficult to explain where we needed things. I have had to move a lot of things Into the rooms. Boxes fine, furniture not so easy to move into rooms. Also Andrey stayed at my house trying to sell my friend a puppy for over two hours. He was very pushy and wanted to talk about our life stories. I just moved and didn't want to spend my time or my friends time talking or being pushed by my moving companies owner. Do the job and be done. read more

I appreciate that this company had a team available at the last minute. The original moving company I had booked cancelled last minute and Groovin' Movin' had a team at my place within 4 hours. I was doing a long haul move and needed a team experienced with loading for that. While they managed to get all my things packed within a determined amount of space, the way they did it left me with many damaged items. They stacked heavy things on top of lighter boxes which resulted in many boxes being crushed upon arrival and items inside damaged. The worst part was I provided many blankets to cover my furniture and they barely used them. I have an antique desk that I explicitly told them to take extraordinary care. Come to find out they didn't even cover it and loaded it with heavy boxes. Luckily it was not damaged. I had broken dishes, gouges in my work desk and almost everything was dirty. I think these guys would be good for a local move- but I would think twice about a long haul move. read more

I was able to get last minute help with unloading a uhaul trailer and a truck. The crew was on time, very friendly and worked fast! They also loaded up their huge truck with a few large items and miscellaneous things we had for a dump run for us. Bonus points for winning over our 6 year old daughter and being patient with her following them around, singing to them, etc She requested a photo and was sad when they left! My move was scheduled for a Saturday morning and I waited all day, only to find out they could not make it until the next day, which was very inconvenient. My items were moved into storage and I recently discovered the glass on two of my 36"×36" framed pictures was shattered, which in turn damaged the matting on both. Meh, I think not. I just spoke with their sales rep. Their quote for a load only 5x8 trailer for a studio apartment was $120 an hour with a minimum of 2hrs = $240. That's the best they can offer. The movers I had unloading when I arrived out here took less than 30min to get everything off the truck. If you're looking for them to load or unload only I recommend checking out the uhaul site. I just found movers on there for way more than half this cost. read more

Then when we got to the destination, he saw how tricky our basement stairs were. He and his associate were able to very carefully and calmly bring the piano downstairs. These guys showed up on time and were ready to get to work unloading our U-Haul. They had a "you're the boss" attitude and let us direct them where we needed them. They were very effective at placing the items where we needed them in our two story home. They also loaded furniture into the U-Haul for us to take to our storage. I could never recommend these movers. They didn't show up at the agreed-upon time and when contacted said they had forgotten to schedule us. They finally showed up completely unprepared and rude. No apologies. They didn't have many tools -- not even a tape measure. After they couldn't figure out how to get the refrigerator out of the house, we told them to leave. My daughter and son-in-law ended up loading the 26-foot truck themselves. It was nearly a disaster. I'd give them no stars if I could. read more

What a stressful time with the snow. Had to cancel Once. Great experience!! Would highly recommend him. His employees were exceptional. And he is a genuinely great person. If I ever move again,I will call Andrey. Well now we have done move 2. It went well. I have an awkward driveway at my new home and so they had to walk much further than they should have, but they were gracious about it. Noting broken or harmed either. But after I had cancelled the job, I realized I still needed them to move some things to a storage after all. Andrey was able to get someone over to me that morning and get everything done. This is the second time we've hired Groovin Movin to move our upright piano and (super heavy!) safe. Super courteous, nice guys. Considerate and thoughtful about making sure floors weren't damaged. It's not cheap to move two big items like this, but Groovin' Movin had better pricing than the other service I called. They showed up at my store to move items a customer had purchased. The man was rude and very unprofessional. Cussing when he saw the item to be moved. He was extremely mean to the young man helping him, yelling at him about everything he was doing. I hired Movin Groovin to do a move from our apartment into our first home that we ever owned. The owner Andrey gave us a quote ahead of time, we agreed to the price. They never showed up on the day of the move and then wanted the business again the next day. We reluctantly let them move our possessions in valuables the next day. When it came time to pay the bill, they charged us more than double what we were quoted and held on to some of our belongings until they were paid cash. 2 Furniture pieces were broken and scratched, and some jewelry was stolen and missing. They claimed no responsibility at all. My wife is heartbroken over the incident. When we went to file a claim with the company, we found that they were not even licensed and bonded and or not registered with the Better Business Bureau. Do not use them and do everything you can to put these people out of business, they are plain and simple Crooks! read more

I had to move on short notice (being a newly single mom, and chronically I'll I had no choice but to hire movers) and was very disappointed when the company i originally called was unable to take my job in time so a friend recommended me to groovin movin. We used this company to empty our home into 2 pods. We ordered 4 movers with equipment. Only 3 showed up on time, however they were without handtrucks or carrying straps. An hour later the 4th mover arrived with some equipment, however they actually had to "rent" a handtruck from my neighbor. The head guy kept answering his phone every 5 minutes, which meant he wasn't fully working. When he wasn't on the phone he kept insulting the other men. They gouged a wall, which we had to repair. When we unpacked the pods a month later we found a lot of damage - stained box spring because it was not covered, gouges in the top of our tv console and buffet and, most hurtful, was the damage done to our antique turntable because they flipped it upside down! I contacted them about compensation, to which they have not made any attempt to provide. I wish I had not used this company! read more

Great customer service from these guys! They did an awesome job in getting us moved to our temporary home!! They were on time, quick, careful with our furniture and breakables. Wrapped our furniture in blankets and shrink wrapped around that. Put the furniture in the home where I wanted it and moved it if I didn't like it there. Put our beds together for us and stacked all the boxes nice and neat. Can't say enough Andrey and Ben. They were friendly and funny, which made moving day experience even better. Horrible. I had been booked for over a week to show up on a specific day. They were going to show up at 12 o'clock but did say they may run an hour late in case the morning job went over time. I can handle that. They ended up showing up at 8:30 PM After continual one hour, 30 minutes, one hour, Delays. They have a two hour minimum So while it took an hour and a half to unpack, they did not put my gorilla racks together, they didn't put the boxes in the proper rooms that were supposed to be and they had a lot of opinions. I asked them if I could get a reduction because they were so late or if they would prorate it and charge me only for an hour and a half because they were so late in showing up and it was also so late, and I had to pay the people that were meeting the movers more money and they continually had to stay later and later waiting for the movers to show up. Moving is very stressful. There's a lot of coordination. Having something planned for Movers to show up at noon maybe "1 o'clock" and they end up showing up at 8:30 PM is ridiculous. And not give me the full two hours? Extremely bad form. I'm not sure how they have four stars. I relied on them and have been vastly disappointed. Honestly I had movers pack me up and I wish I could've just brought them to Washington state. I would never hire these people again ever read more

I am giving these guys one star because I could not give them zero. After having Andrey in to look at my apartment and garage and agreeing to a $500 charge for packing and moving our stuff to storage, the crew arrived approximately 45 minutes late. They would NOT follow the directions of my girlfriend and still stood around for approximately 30 minutes BEFORE starting any work. The crew then informed my girlfriend that packing was NOT PART of the arrangement. I brought in friends to pack while the crew stood around or picked and chose what they would move out. At every time that my girlfriend gave them directions, the entire crew would stop working and discuss things by themselves. The entire process was slated to be a four hour job, but took approximately 5-6 hours. They did stop to have Andrey talk to me on the phone, wanting to have a conference call with me to discuss the problems that his crew was having. The unloading was completed only because the lead man had to speak to one of his two man crew like he was as a child. On a positive note, the crew leader Christopher ran while working, placed items carefully into their truck and tried to keep his crew working. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. I would recommend Christopher to start his own moving business and/or go to work for a reputable company. By the way...the agreed upon fee of $500 was raised to $600, which we paid, only to end the nonsense. read more

DO NOT use this mover. We took the recommendation of a friend and regretted it. They were LATE every day and not by minutes. BY HOURS. Mind you they would show up, at the end of what was a very long day for my husband and I and want to start working at 6 or 7pm at night. Quiet hours in our old neighborhood begin at 8pm. The owner (Andrey) blamed this on the fact that he had "laid off" employees right before we called him, and that he was short staffed. If he KNEW he was short staffed why take the job? Further the whole time he and his helper were helping to pack up our garage, they were reckless. They put life jackets in with batteries (found that out on the unpacking end of the journey), for vehicles...see a problem? The owner was continually trying to nickel and dime us out of possessions. Wanted to buy our bedroom set. He was told no that we were not selling anything...he persisted whenever he saw things he liked. We continued to tell him no. A couple of very valuable items, were noticed missing on the packing end THE Clark County SHERIFF was called and a report filed (no accusations were made)....more was found to be missing on the arrival end. Items we know we packed, labeled and advised them to load onto the truck. I guess it was our mistake to trust a "professional", I guess one of us should have been bird dogging from the house to the truck to see things got loaded. They broke the leg off of our guest bedroom set and tried hiding it by tying the leg back on with string. Broke a candy dish, and threw it behind some bushes, I found it when we went back for a second trip thirty days later. THIS moving company is HORRIBLE. It was a nightmare, and I would never recommend it to anyone. EVER. The owner is not professional. He would not look my husband in the eye when we were listing our grievances and he demanded a personal check when we wanted to pay cash (RED FLAG) when we finalized the bill. Used this company to move the heavy/large things my wife and I could not handle on our own. Angela in the office was more than accommodating setting us up with an appointment right after Memorial Day, only problem was our 9 am appointment was pushed back and the truck did not arrive until 12:30. The movers themselves were awesome when loading the truck. But when they got to our new home their boss was with them for some reason and he seemed to be out of sorts and in a hurry, I guess he thought he could do a better job than the actual assigned crew. I witnessed him moving items without any concern for for possible damage. When moving the dryer into the laundry room I told him I could place it, but no he had to jam it in pushing from the top and ended up gouging the linoleum and broke the leveling leg and bent the legs seat on the bottom of the dryer. He said he would order a new leg but that never happened. Also he bent one of the wings of our bbq, the side with a warming burner. After they all left we noticed the center support for my wife's Ikea dresser was bent and the screws completely pulled out. I mentioned this to Angela in the office and she did refund $50 of our $380 fee. By the way this company charges a minimum two hour charge which is illegal in the state of Washington, charges must be by the quarter hour. If it was just the guys doing the heavy work I would recommend this company but considering how unprofessional the owner is I will never recommend Groovin' Moving'. read more
