We were traveling through Greenwood back to Georgia and stopped in here. The food was great! With it being our first time we didn't know what to order so the young lady helped us decide by asking us our likes. Very friendly & food was delicious. The restaurant was clean & maintained. If we ever are in the area we will stop again.

My family and I are suckers for trying new places to eat. We just moved to Greenwood and wanted to explore a little so we decided to pop into this place and try it. The staff was so friendly and I was highly amused with the menu because the meals choices all have funny names and it's great. Not to mention they let you keep the menu to go home with!!! My father in law ordered a 'Big Dipper' and said it was delicious and I ordered a 'Pink Moose' and it was good. Whenever we go back we'll trying some other options though because they've got a huge menu and so many things to choose from. Also, the meals all come with chips & a pickle but drinks are not included. Though we still got drinks and their sweet tea is on point.

I had purchase a baklava cheesecake, a molten lava cake, a rice pudding lentil soup with pita bread. Unfortunately, though, they were out of the molten lava cake, so they gave me an extra cheesecake. The service was amazing, and I have to say about the ambience. Pretty chill there was hardly anyone there and you know what? This was a wonderful experience for me. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you never been, this will really open your perspective truly.

This Turkish restaurant has a wide…read morevariety of grilled options to choose from starting from your classic chicken kebobs, gyros, to rib eye steak kebobs. Their platter option comes with rice and pita along with a small container of sauce. Their meats are about 7oz per kebob, so the $17.50 chicken Kebob is a single kebob with a hefty portion, but not a cheap cost. They are also flexible on substituting one kebob for another, especially if you get the mixed platter, but there is a surcharge. The meats are grilled freshly on the spot and very moist. The rice isn't dry and the balance of everything comes together well. Food isn't greasy or heavy, especially if you're cautious on getting the cleaner options like chicken kebob and rice. Shishkebab always seem to have some special to take advantage of. For example, their Father's Day special is a 4 meat mixed fajitas for $25. The interior design is quite unique with a small shop area on the side with Turkish chocolates and desserts for sale. Most of the restaurant looks like any normal restaurant with booths and tables, but another corner has been furnished for more of a traditional Turkish look. The furnishing makes it look like a hookah lounge; looks quite relaxing to dine sitting there. They also have unique Turkish weapons and dolls furnished along the walls giving this place a unique authentic vibe. Overall, the food is not heavy and pretty healthy if you get basic stuff like chicken & rice and not go too heavy on the sauces/sides. I really enjoyed eating their food and certainly will be back. Highly recommend this place as they are definitely one of the best Mediterranean food restaurants in Augusta.

Love absolutely everything about this place!…read more I got the middle eastern plate with gyro and my friend got the beef shawarma plate and we both thoroughly enjoyed both. Super flavorful and the hummus was phenomenal. We also got their homemade lemonade and it was 10/10. Service was wonderful and everyone was so kind. There is plenty of seating indoors and they also have a market inside where you can buy snacks and other things. Note that this place is cash only. I didn't see an ATM inside either.

We stopped by on our way to ATL for an early lunch and to try this famous spot known for big and fresh flavor. We got there a bit before everything was available but we still opted for the beef plate with humus, vegetables, fresh potatoes bread and a salad. The pita bread was hot out of the oven and was amazing alone or wrapped around tender well seasoned beef and hummus. The gentlemen that took our order was so kind to answer all of our questions and tell us about the family business, and recommend mint tea and spices to try. He even gave us a dessert to try, cashew fingers! Very delicious and light. When we finished and started to leave, I pulled out a few dollars for a tip. The older gentleman stopped by the table and insisted we not leave a tip and was happy we enjoyed the food. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu and to say hello to this amazing family owned business.

I was reluctant to buy into the hype... however, it's WELL deserved. The service and selection was stellar. You will hear people rave over the goat cheese balls. Their reputation proceeds them, but honestly, I don't think that they are a "must order". I had many other dishes there that are far more worth ordering, such as... *The Lamb (starter) * Brussels Sprouts * Tahini Caesar The Wine list is very extensive, and access to a top-tier sommelier is great. We absolutely adored our server, Nicolas who made our experience as fun, festive, and informative as could be! My only "note" to management would just be that besides the natural setting (the perfect Reddy River), the indoor ambience is SO lackluster. The restaurant could really stand to have an aesthetic revamp. And I hate to comment on the interior of the restrooms since it is seemingly so obsolete to "restaurant review," but I simply feel compelled to comment. The restrooms are barely a step up from a public pool/beach bathroom shack. Too harsh? No, must be said. Nonetheless, I cannot wait to come back and highly recommend everyone try this GEM of a restaurant (just pee before;)

We originally fell in love with the Chicken Kabobs, but after trying the salmon, it quickly became our favorite dish. The salmon is perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. We live in Asheville, so dining at Pomegranate on Main is always a special treat. We especially love the cranberry basmati rice and always ask to substitute it for the basmati rice mixed with dill and lima beans. Our waiter, Christian W., happily made the change for us. Christian provided outstanding service throughout our meal--friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure everything was just right. We also love the Pomegranate Martini and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys martinis. During this visit, we were skipping alcohol, and Christian suggested the Pomegranate Mojito instead. It was refreshing, flavorful, and absolutely delicious--a perfect non-alcoholic option. What keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, the service is always top-notch, and the entire dining experience is one we look forward to every time.
