Cute little coffee shop across from Broad Nosh Bagels. Great that they have decaffeinated drinks and gluten free options. A beautiful Sunday morning sitting watching the people of city walk by.

Great coffee! Handful of seats if you want to hangout and work on your laptop. Only negative was the music was blasting a bit to loud. Would have been a more relaxing environment if the music was at a quieter volume. Nonetheless solid coffee spot!

Ordered a chai latte twice from here - they run a bit watery, especially in the large size - may be too much ice or something with their ratios. However, the ambiance is quite nice, and there's decent space to sit/get some work done. Prices are average.

Strong coffee. Got a Vanilla Oatmilk Latte. Cool underground vibes. Would be a nice place to read or work. A little hidden, so I had a little trouble finding it, but eventually found my way! Workers are super nice and helpful!

Cozy coffee shop with lots of seating. I enjoyed my latte and was able to find a table to work at fairly quickly. There's a lively chattery ambiance makes for good white noise. Docking off a star because this place isn't that great to work unless you're doing offline work. My VPN refused to connect to their wifi and even basic non-VPN apps weren't loading due to security issues with the network. You can use the LINK NYC network if you're sitting closer to the door but that slowed me down on VPN.

Coffee shops in NYC are plentiful and I came across Ground Central one morning. A great space to grab a quick coffee and hangout. Quick and friendly service, and yummy coffee.

The hot tea was so good with the vegan pumpkin bread I can eat that all day! This place is walking distance to Broadway because we were going to see a show but far away from all the congestion near Times Square. It's a very calm presence when you walk in with light music playing in the background just perfectly enough to maybe have a study session here. Also, in a great location pop in for a nice treat when you get a chance and if you're in this area.

I stopped Ground Central because I needed a location to take a mid-day virtual meeting. The decor is beautiful. The big red couch looks incredibly comfortable and adds a unique flair to the cafe. There was calm music, and the vibe made it a great place to catch a beat and unwind. While here, I ordered a chai latte and a cookie. I found a nook in the back of the cafe to take my midday meeting. Unfortunately, the internet wasn't working during my visit, so I wasn't able to take a meeting or work remotely. Overall, it is great for catching up or relaxing, but not the best choice if you need reliable Wi-Fi.

Several locations around the city but this was my first time trying Ground Central. I like the various options they have on the menu, and this location is decent seating options as well. I tried the iced peanut butter latte and felt it was sweet enough for me, but had a very subtle peanut butter taste. They have various bakery items available as well, but overall I thought my coffee was good. If I was ever in the area or in need of caffeine this would be a good trusted spot.

Love the vibe and flat whites!! Cute spot in the city and would definitely recommend stopping in!

A clean, friendly spot for coffee and a bite. I was in the neighborhood before an early morning meeting and needed the morning cuppa. The barista was friendly and encouraged the house Nutella banana bread, yet I was hesitant for that much sugar. I went with the croissant (from one of several bakeries in the city) and would next time go with the house recommendation. Croissant was neither soft nor flaky, and the ends were of equal texture to the middle of the "bar" - no crescent shape should have been a sign. That said, GCC looks like a comfy place to hang and do some work, and the coffee is worth the visit.

Great coffee (I had their cappuccino, my co workers had a latte and iced coffee) and such a nice vibe with their playlist, love it!

Stopped in for a mocha latte with almond milk and it did not disappoint. It was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced--no extra sugar or tweaks needed. Honestly, one of the best almond milk mochas I've had in the city! What made it even better was sharing it over great conversation with my girls. Sometimes all you need is a cozy cup and good company to make a moment feel special. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Excellent vibes all around.

I feel the prices were very reasonable, even though I saw some comments about people saying the books are overpriced. I brought in three statue items unopened in the original packaging. I checked on ebay for what the items sold for (not asking price but sold price) and it added up to about $600, I lugged the items over there and had to leave them there because they wouldn't get to them right away. The people/kids working there were very nice. I went to have lunch and got the text to return, and they are offering $150. So I picked up the items and turned down the offer. Again, they were very nice, it's just I wasn't willing to accept 25% of the value. I figured at worst it would be 50%. But I am better off getting closer to the actual price on ebay. Now, Buying. Lots of very expensive and exiting things to get, and I didn't have time to price check things so much, but my son is into the Nintendo switch and i spotted a used Marvel VS Capcom game he might like. It was $34.95. But just in case, I pulled up Amazon and looked the game up. A brand new one costs $21.79. So it would have been a terrible idea for me to buy it there. I guess if you are leaving work and need a quick gift, you might stop in and pay too much for an item. If you are in real trouble and don't have time to wait for an Ebay sale, you might consider selling your collectables for 25% the value, this place might come in handy.

I walked into a store that is essentially one large room, and the density of product on display meant navigating it during a busy period required some patience, but the selection within that compact space was broader than the size suggested. The Korean literature section covers both Korean language and English language editions across a range of genres, which makes it genuinely useful for anyone studying the language or looking for titles that are difficult to find at general bookstores in the city. I saw children's books in Korean, well stocked. The K pop side of the store covers albums, photocards, posters, keychains, stickers, and merchandise across a wide range of artists, with BTS having a particularly strong presence historically alongside newer groups. Pricing runs higher than what I would pay ordering online or finding the same items at a larger retailer, which is the standard trade off for a specialty shop in Manhattan. Album prices in particular can be steep, though sale events bring them down to more competitive territory. Individual accessory items like stickers and bookmarks are priced at a premium relative to their size, so going in with a sense of what I am willing to spend helps avoid sticker shock at the register. The store is a reliable stop for anyone looking for Korean books or K pop merchandise in a physical retail setting in New York, with the caveat that the pricing and the crowd level are both factors worth knowing about before I go.

This is the largest selection (aside from corporate-owned Bauman's) of rare books I've seen that include the dust jacket- a collectors actual dream. It's the biggest breath of fresh air to find a rare book store owned by a woman, and to be treated like a human being. I normally get side-eyed from rare bookstore owners and some of the conversations I've had sound like: "May I see the Portrait of a Lady in the case?" "All of these books are at least $100.00 and up." ".....I know." "Do you have any Wilde?" "The book about the woman hiking alone? That's too new to be in our shop, Barnes & Noble would have it."
