[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was a really cute coffee shop hidden away in the train station! Just a few steps away from a nice quiet spot amidst a very busy midtown![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didn't catch her name, but the barista that helped us was very nice, made great conversation and made the experience well worth the spontaneous trip to that coffee shop versus the many others on the area! We didn't order any food, but they did have some pastries that looked pretty good, will have to return the next time we're in the city :)

This gem is in the train station at 210 W 50th st, near Times Square, making it hard to find, but it's well worth the search. The three owners who also run the show do an awesome job, making you feel at home and E (pictured here) is an excellent host. If you're a coffee aficionado, this is your new favorite spot. Run, don't walk to this hidden gem.

I can't believe one of the best iced oat milk lattes I've had was at Tiny Dancer - a coffee shop located in the subway station! It's an interesting find but when you stumble upon it you definitely have to grab a drink on your way out of the 1!

The one and only barista made our experience here a unique one. We came around 8ish (after the morning rush) and we were the only ones in the cafe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We striked great conversation and put us in control of the music in the cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love how the barista just started conversating with us instead of giving us our drinks and go to the back. I'm tellin' ya, great customer service really changes a person's experience and I will come here again when I am in NY. Keep in mind this cafe is underground and you would need to go in a subway entrance.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I would have thought in a subway tunnel would have taken away from the atmosphere of a coffee shop but it actually adds to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nesselled away from the noise and rush of the street made it a nice break from the hustle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its tiny size makes it a fun hole in the wall but also mean it couod probably hold 6 people at a time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was very friendly as well. We talked for a while and she gave us plenty of recommendations. The cold brew itself was good but nothing standout (though that's tricky to do with coldbrew anyway).

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Tiny Dancer Coffee was the cutest find on my recent New York trip![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went every day and was met with same barista who was nothing but pleasant every time. Their coffee is absolutely delicious that stood out on its own, but was even better with their flavors (their seasonal maple stood out amongst my group, but I'm a vanilla/caramel loyalist). [[HIGHLIGHT]]If the timeline of my trip allowed, I would've loved to hang around and enjoy the ambiance of the cafe -- it's just so cute with great vibes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Although I'm across the country, I'll still be a regular every time I'm in the area

Great coffees and espresso drinks. A little hard to find but worth the effort. One of my daily stops when around Times Square.

This was a great find. The lattes were delicious and pastries were just out of the oven. Very affordable and really nice, helpful barista.

E was the kindest and most welcoming barista I have ever met and makes a mean cortado. Easily my favorite coffee experience in Times Square.

Small hidden shop in Koreatown specializing in matcha and tea-based drinks!…read more I came to Mika's on a Friday morning, and while there wasn't a line, it did feel packed with the five people inside. I'd actually passed by this place multiple times but had no idea it was a cafe. This shop itself is more of a grab-and-go, but it might still take a while since all drinks are whisked and made to order. There isn't really space for a line to form inside, so you may need to wait outside to order (there's also a bit of a lack of room to wait for your drink once it's ordered). My strawberry matcha came out to $9.25 total, which is pretty pricey, so I expected a lot. In total, it took me around 10-ish minutes to get my drink with about 4 people in front of me. At first it took a while for our orders to get taken since the two employees were focused on getting drinks out ASAP, one person was preparing the syrups and milk, and the other was making the matcha. The matcha itself had a nice green color. I've had many strawberry matchas prior to this, and based on my experience, this place was alright. The strawberry syrup was nice and not too sweet, but I wish there was a bit more flavoring or more of it, as after two sips I couldn't taste the strawberry at all. Overall, it's a nice shop with cute trinkets around and their own products they sell, like matchas and tea sets. However, for $9, it was a lot for what the drink offered in my opinion.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
