Friendly service, great music, lots of space to relax, read, eat a snack or matcha. I had the smallmatcha with coconut milk. The matcha was fresh and made to order. Get the almond crossiant you won't be disappointed.

Always great service and great coffee. Love the decoration of the store and comfortable seating by the library.

Super cute coffee shop with kind staff. The matcha latte is superb. It's the kind that people who don't like matcha wouldn't like because the flavor shines. It's served unsweetened, as it should be.

I really liked this place, one of my fave coffee vibes in the city, I did not experience negative service or anything like that.

They use these gold/green markers that rub off on your hands and drip on the condensation. We have told the barista and they said they knew.

Delicious coffee and pastries! The staff is very friendly and the inside has a moody vibe.

Good coffee, tasty sweet and savory goodies to eat, plenty of space and seating, friendly servers... this became our go-to local coffee shop during our NYC stay.

Bookshelves & coffee counter from the seating area. Surprisingly ample seating for a small space. It's a cozy space and good for working, especially with free WiFi. The staff is friendly and efficient. Coffee was great, I ordered a cappuccino, my husband ordered a latte. I also ordered a spinach turnover, as we were here for a quick breakfast. It was just ok. I ate over half of the croissant before even getting to the spinach and ricotta(?) filling. The filling was bland and room temp, even though they warmed it before serving. I would definitely come back for the coffee but probably won't order food again.

This coffee shop is very clean and quite. It was good to get out of the heat. My friend and I came in here, they made no eye contact and very very rude. They did not give any time for us to explain what we wanted. (We get coffee all the time) and we prefer small local spots, but I think I would've preferred Starbucks because they actually look at you and let you talk. It was empty there was no rush. So any ways it was unfortunate, but the coffee was good. So if your coming in here to grab a cup and go, I would recommend. But service was sadly not ideal.

I found this cute little spot while in the city for a funeral. While the reasoning for my visit was sad the environment here definitely gave me a warm hug each morning. The Baristas were so kind to me and remembered my order every time. They treated me like a friend and put me on the best pastries. The attention to detail was so impressive. I just had to share my experience! I will always visit whenever I'm in the city :)

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

The generous serving had creamy, silky layers and was easily enough for the two of us to share. Sweet, light, and refreshing. Plenty of seating, generous portions, and a stop here never disappoints! Located on 32nd St, between Broadway & 5th Ave Train: 34 St-Herald Sq (N/Q/R/W); also an easy walk from Penn Station. Overall, a great casual dessert stop after exploring K-Town, Midtown or nearby Chelsea.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
