Cappuccino

Stopped in for a quick cappuccino between shows. Love that it's a little off the beaten path and chaos to catch some more low key time before. Definitely a place for locals. Hipster vibe. Great coffee. Neighborhood feels

Ok amazing! I found this online on my Last day of a work trip and I'm upset. I would've been here every single day if I could've. The almond croissant was to die for. The coffee was perfect. I should've bought some merch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Go here and get away from the crazy of nyc and relax for a second with a good coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And amazing staff.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]usually places that have adorable aesthetics are sacrificing some of their quality in pursuit of Instagram-ability, but this is not one of those[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - [[HIGHLIGHT]]a tiny little pink and green storefront with two pink tables outside and one table inside[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - collectively we had a large iced Americano with a little bit of almond milk and two cappuccinos. all got a stamp of approval! - For one their large size is actually large, thank God, and their almond milk isn't just water. it had a slightly nutty flavor and was delicious. - the espresso is robust. it is an intense flavor and not burnt. the cappuccinos were perfectly paired with a strong espresso flavor, creamy milk, and light foamy layer. - the workers were sweet and the drinks were made quickly yet with an actual real quality espresso machine! they have a few fun seasonal drinks but mainly just do the classics well. and for a NORMAL price! - there is a flight where you can sample different origin coffees if you're actually a coffee aficionado!

The meticulous care taken to my drink!

Needed a bit a pick-me-up after a long day watching a show and strolling in the city! Service was fast. This happened to be on the way. Gave the iced cortado with oatmilk a try. Taste was good. For the price, wished there's a bit more drink to it. Finished it instantly. If I'm in the area, would be willing to give it another try!

Latte

I was happy to find this spot nearby! I grabbed a chocolate croissant and hot latte. Service was quick & great. FYI as much as I was craving a vanilla latte, they do not carry any flavored syrups!

A little pick me up.

The perfect little coffee shop right outside of our hotel, you bet we hit this place hard while we visited NYC. Friendly service and well made cappuccino's. Thanks for helping us get through our vacation!

My Cortado was delicious and the presentation was great. What I loved about this coffee shop. Is they use an almond milk called NUMILK. They allowed me to read the ingredients in the package and it was literally almonds, water, and a small amount of sugar. The cleanest ingredients of any premade type almond milk I've seen. It comes condensed (concentrate) in very small packages and they add water so it's environmentally friendly packaging. I will definitely come back here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment was friendly and kind. It wasn't too noisy[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only downside is this is kind of like a basement coffee shop so they do have a big front window, but you're still a little bit below ground.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Espresso was very tasty, good location. However, the barista was rude. If they can fix their attitude, I'll be back.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

We started with a bottle of the Alsace wine, which perfectly complemented our food and the Parisian vibe. I opted for the omelette with Gruyère which was delicious, although I found myself very full by the end, as it came with two sides. The fries were a must-have -- so crispy, salty & fresh. I'd recommend that at least one person at the table order them, but the portion is pretty generous. :) The service was nice, albeit a bit slow at times. However, the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere is chill -- we weren't in a rush at all! Sitting at a booth in the back, we had the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy our meal, making for a lovely brunch with friends or family.

I'd been meaning to stop by this place after always passing it on my way to work, and i'm glad I…read moredid! I got the almond croissant which was an absolute BANGER!! I always get almond croissants from coffee shops but wow this one has to be one of my favorites. The crunchy (sugar?) top coating and the filling were delectable. I got one of the seasonal spring drinks, called "Karl" which is a banana cold brew with cold foam. I don't even like cold brews since they tend to be super strong and pretty bitter, and banana can be a hit or miss, but I enjoyed the hell out of this drink. It was a bit sweet, which I like, and the cold brew itself had a banana flavor when I had just expected it to come from the cold foam. I didn't sit or stay inside as I had to go to work, but there are a few (maybe 5 I think?) chairs along a bar counter on the side. Plants in the window too which I love. The barista was nice and made the drinks quickly despite being there by herself early in the morning (or at least I didn't see another employee). I recommended this place to my coworkers and can't wait to go back and try the other drink options!

Theres a shared bar table along one wall with high top chairs and menu options at the counter + a chalkboard with seasonal drinks. I left with a Balthazar Bakery box with 4 items. The 2 Everything pastries were filled with what looked like spinach and cheese. Incredible when reheated, but I wish they were served warm. The cinnamon roll was good, but not standout. The pain au chocolat was tender and flaky. Some of the seasonal drinks, like the Grinch, looked really good and I'd come back to try one, but I likely wouldn't swing for a pastry this time.
