Good food. Really pricey. Three people ordered: burger/fries/drink and the total (with 18% tip) was over 50 dollars.

Doesn't look like much if you see it from the street, but this has some of the best burgers I've had in the Nashville area. My wife grew up here so we make it up a few times a year and always try to find that local Burger place and this place didn't disappoint. Staff is friendly and the order system is great to customize your order. I had a bunless double waygu black and bleu bacon burger and a sweet potato. It was excellent. We'll be back. read more

We have been wanting to try Ground for awhile. We finally tried it yesterday. The location is sort of non-assuming, but the food was great. My wife had the Black and Blue burger with a side salad. I had the Jr Burger with the French fries. Their fries are some of the best we have ever had. The service was very friendly. We are looking forward to going back frequently. The only disappointment was they were out of shrimp po'boy. But the quality of the burgers made me forget about the po'boy. read more

I ordered a shrimp poboy and the shrimp tasted old and ammonia-y. My fiancé's burger was cooked medium rare/rare and had to take it back. My friends burger was cooked medium rare. She took it back to the cook and they literally put the burger she bit off of back on the grill. That's absolutely unacceptable and very disappointing. read more

Order kiosk took a moment to know but it ensures accuracy and makes you aware of options. They have sweet potatoes as a side! Fries were great but nice to see salad options. Love this place! Excellent burgers and great for families. The Whiskey Burger was the best craft burger we've had anywhere in CA or TN. So good. The fries are close to perfect, and the portions are generous. They have a loyalty program and kids eat free on Saturdays with purchase of adults meals. And I can't forget to mention the service! This could easily have been a Five Star experience, this is my review. The wife and I wanted to try something new and we'd both seen the new burger joint and heard great things about it. We took a chance and made the drive across town to Ground. Walking in we were greeted by the man behind the counter and the sweet smell of burgers and fries, but my attention was immediately drawn to the floor which was sticky and in need of some attention. Cool 70's music was on the radio and baseball was on the two TVs overhead. It was a perfect summertime vibe. I chose their Skinny Dip with Sweet potatoe fries, my wife had the Four Alarm burger on the gluten-free bun with regular fries. I wish I had ordered something on the gluten-free bun because the burger was so good I wanted more of it. I tasted my wife's Four Alarm and it was really good. Cooked perfectly and deliciously seasoned. The fries were also pretty damn good. Guys you have a great thing going there keep it shiney. The floors kinda turned me off. Your first impression is huge. People want to walk into a nice clean establishment. You hit a home run with your great customer service and mouth-watering burger. Now Grand-slamify!! Take a little initiative, polish up the place in your spare time. And I will say it was so good, I took my son back there later on in the day to enjoy a delicious burger. This is my first time at Ground located on W. Main Rd. in Franklin. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the hand cut fries my buddy order the pioneer burger one was a single the other was a double pioneer burger. We arrived around 11:15 AM and were immediately greeted by the staff. We waited in a very short line and had our food within about 10 minutes. My buddies raved about their pioneer burgers. My chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly and I added avocado to the fold as well as the hand cut fries. There was a decent crowd inside and everyone warned me that I would be very fall once I completed my meal. Where do you get it to go or where do you get it to stay food is very good. I have not been to the other location of ground however this one is very convenient to work and I was suggest any Downtowner's or Franklin natives to hit this spot. A great valueAnd excellent service. Parking is in front of the building and around it can be tight during lunchtime but I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lunch. read more

Love this place! Stopped here for lunch while on a business trip and definitely don't regret it. Such a cool atmosphere. Ordered quickly and the food came out very fast. Everything was delicious! I ordered the El Toro Jumbo Spud and it was fantastic! The employees were very friendly and checked in is multiple times throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. The food is so, so good. The service is so, so slow. We've been fans of Ground since shortly after the first location opened, because the burgers & salads really are that good. But their time management & inadequate staffing are huge problems that have made us less & less likely to come here as time goes on. At the moment, we've been waiting 70+ minutes for a fairly simple (3 burgers + fries) takeout order that hasn't been started yet. We love Ground's burgers, but not this much. I ordered 3 burgers and a kids chicken tenders at 7:15 and didn't start eating till 8:25. And the fries were not even hot. Just happened to be passing through the Franklin area again, I was about to start geocaching and realized it was lunch time. Looked around at restaurants nearby, and decided to head the Ground again - a bit out of the way to the route I had planned, but it was worth the trip -- AGAIN! This time I signed up for their loyalty program! :) I ordered one of their daily specials, the Ground Melt: two patties, cheese, and caramelized onions on Texas toast. Decided to try a sweet potato instead of their delicious French fries - very happy I did so! Such a great alternative! Absolutely terrible, do not waste your time. got fried mushrooms, a salad and a lettuce wrap burger. The mushrooms were burnt and they used a corn type breading that was off putting. The lettuce in the salad was starting to rot and the burger was nothing special. I guess I wasn't expecting fast food from this place but it was worse. read more

IWow - the Pioneer burger was outstanding and the fries were great. The toasted bun helped elevate the flavor. The location is small and it's self-service, but size and atmosphere don't distract from the tasty food. The counter staff was excellent and my order was called in less than 5 minutes. It's great to have a non-fast food burger option on the west side of Franklin so the Cool Sprin gs traffic and hunting a parking spot downtown are not an issue. read more

We ordered the fried pickles and each had a burger with fries. Our daughter had a smaller burger with sliced apples. The fries are the fresh cut kind, and the portions were large. Sad to post this review. Ground was our go to spot. No longer. Poor environment, poor service, poor food quality. They changed to a self ordering system to QR code or via the computer at the counter. My guess for this is to reduce the cost of labor. There were two young men behind the counter to process the orders. The new ordering system removes the urgency for the cooks to have customer service etiquette. After the annoying food ordering process we had the pleasure of sitting in the dirty lobby and listening to the cooks openly discuss various topics like how they ate something bad and got sick for two weeks, or made comments about my guest wanting their patty well done...something to the effect of "if I ever order my burger like this, slap me in the face with it". I was also able to count three times that one particular worker wiped his nose with the back of his hand/wrist area. The elderly couple that came in behind us was greeted with the workers discussing "after this order lets start to get this place cleaned up so we can get out of here ASAP" referencing the potential severe weather....2 hours before closing... Last comments about the food. All three of the burgers came well done when we only requested it on one. I ordered my favorite four alarm fire burger. It came without the onion straws and the spicy ranch. I ended up eating a few bites but threw the rest away as well as my wifes burger, then made food out of the fridge. I did not order the wings when I found out it was $13 for a 6 count...maybe they are big wings? Didnt want to gamble to find out. If the restaurant continues this way they will be closed by the end of the year unfortunately. We loved this place, took our kids on the weekends. Amazing, addictive fresh cut fries! The burgers are great but really wanted to try the latest special posted: catfish poboys. Per their friendly staff, they use Gambino's bakery bread and a spicy breading for the catfish. I felt like I was eating a poboy in New Orleans. So good!
