Grounded coffee is such a nice corner location; excellent for reading, working, or enjoying a tasty beverage. It is probably one of my top 3 all-time favorites, and I'll be going back soon! COFFEE I ordered a pour over (no cream & no sugar) with the barista's recommended beans. Wow! The best way I can describe it is delicate. It was so balanced in flavors of spice and sweetness that it took me a while to dissect the intricacies of what I was drinking. You can immediately taste the care that went into choosing the beans they'd sell and in actually making my particular cup of coffee. I don't normally splurge on pour over and stick to standard black drip coffee, but this entirely changes my opinion. I have to get another one of these! SHOP/LOCATION Located off of 580 and 84, it's in a prime location for any commuter. It has a modern aesthetic with friendly staff who really care about the quality of their drinks. This place was fantastic! We stopped by here on the way to Sacramento and what a perfect place to grab coffee and some bites! My husband got the honey lavender latte and it was SO good! Highly recommended. I was looking for something less sweet so got a latte with 1 pump of SF vanilla and it was also great! I like that they don't have an extensive menu, makes it much easier to order. We also got a burrata toast and it was very good. I personally love a lot of ingredients on my toast so this was good for me but for a person who doesn't prefer that I wouldn't recommend it for you. We also got the turkey, egg & cheese which came on a ciabatta bread and it was pretty good. However we agreed it may have been better on a slightly lighter bread. Everything was fresh to order and we can't wait to be back to try more things here again! This would also be a great place to study with bright windows and small tables :) read more

The coffee flavor is really nice and forward which is hard to get when you order decaf. I asked for a little bit extra ice and I'm glad I did the ice is fun to chew but it's small so it'll melt fast. As you can see I drank a lot of the drink already and I got it like 4 minutes ago. I did ask for a little more syrup but that's a personal sweetness level, I'd definitely come back and maybe try an iced hazelnut latte. read more

Stopped for a bathroom break and came away with a coffee and yummy pastry after enjoying loads of cute knickknacks and lovely staff.

6.18.23 - unfortunately I wasn't able to try their coffee our or any other beverages & treats they could of possibly offered. I actually needed to do a bathroom stop from a road trip and this was close to the exit. It was across the street from a cute whale mural that was painted on a water tank I believe and there was industrial buildings close by as well. This location is very hidden when exiting if your not from the area. They had wonderful hospitality & even though they were already closed, their doors were open to clean & we walked in when they just finished mopping the whole floor. Their shop inside is very cute. I love the aesthetics decor of their shop. Their restroom had a little 3 shelf that catered to women's needs, which I adore. Not all restrooms do things like this anymore. It reminded me of when I visited a coffee shop in Auburn that had the same feel, especially the restroom! I definitely was bummed their shop was closed as I would of wanted to order something from them to bring on the road. I don't think I will be around this way ever again nor pass by this area as I barely come this way too often. But the employees there are very friendly, helpful and I appreciated the smiles on their face. I do hope anyone who comes out this way finds this review helpful to try their shop out & enjoy their time for me! Great new spot in Livermore and definitely worth checking out. My friends and I went in to try a few different things and they were all so SO good: the honey lavender latte, the cold brew and the guava flavored ginger lab. Everything was delicious! I went with the hot honey lavender latte but will definitely be back to try it iced because I saw they had the movie theater nugget ice...aka the best ice on the planet. Loved they had a ton of delicious treats as well. I got the butter and batter cookies...have you had these? They are a must try. Do not go in to this place and not treat yourself to at least one of these! I also saw they had a breakfast sandwich which looked amazing, but I didn't get to try it this time around. Another customer there had ordered it and said it's a must try too! Met the owner and she was so sweet and gave me great customer service. The place itself is adorable inside with so much cute decor. Love coming here! I'm sad they recently shortened their hours because I used to go later on in the day so unfortunately won't be able to visit often since they close at 2pm now. Good assortment of sandwiches and pastries along with various coffee drinks. I usually opt for cold brew (very strong!) and their hot drip coffee and a berry Danish or Nutella croissant pastry. Yum! Their sandwiches also look good and if I am ever able to come by in the morning (I might have to now that they close earlier!) I will try out their breakfast sandwich. Nice place to get work done also - they have a good seating area and plenty of outlets along with strong wifi. Plus the service is also friendly and helpful staff. First and foremost, their breakfast sandwich sub croissant is heavenly. I usually couldn't casually spend $8+ on a sandwich that's honestly not filling at all but I will in a heartbeat for their breakfast sandwich. Their coffee is nice. It's next to my house and next to the college, they also offer a LPC discount for any students out there. The people there are super friendly and sweet, the food is always done nicely and the coffee is always so pretty. They also offer some board games which I don't use often but it's nice to when you're with others. Will come again! read more

If I could give more than 5 stars to a business, I'd do that here. I don't live in the area but was visiting family for Easter weekend & this place stood out to me as I drove by coming into town ~ I LOVE my coffee, but "local delicacies" spoke to my soul. The next day I brought my niece & our kids, we had 6 drinks + 5 food items... ALL AMAZING. This comfy small business with the kindest owners who have a heart for supporting other local, small businesses was a 12/10 experience for me, on top of the delicious food/drinks. The next day I came back and brought my mom on our way out of town. I will def come back and will continue to tell people about how amazing Grounded is. I had been looking for a premium coffee shop ever since Steam Townhouse went belly up. I was referred to an un-named coffee shop and given somewhat vague instructions but found it on the north corner of Jack London Blvd and Isabelle. 'Grounded' is a warm, friendly coffee bistro with experienced Baristas and great cookies and muffins made expertly for our breakfast tastes. The various coffees they serve are carefully chosen for various tastes and are expertly prepared in different ways. This place deserves the attention of Livermore Airport veterans as well as Golf afficionados and water workers. It is well worth the U-Turn from Jack London Blvd and Isabelle to get to the driveway into the shopping center. Grounded is prominently featured right on the corner and parking is easy. Holly, the owner, will go out of her way to help you choose the right coffee for your taste. It is not cheap, but if this is your concern...there is always MacDonalds. read more

So happy to have found this little family owned cafe. Holly, the owner, rented the space out for us to gather after the party finished with Limitless Escape Games next door. We really couldn't have pulled off the party without her and other staff at Grounded's help. She offered a custom menu for our guests of delicious drinks and freshly baked pastries. She also helped by referring us to a locally owned pizzeria and got the pizzas for us! There is also a nice outdoor space, which was super needed after the kids were stuck in an escape room for an hour. Holly and her husband incorporate a value of supporting and bringing together the community, from locally sourced baked goods to donations to the monthly charity they donate proceeds to. This place is cute and minimalistic. They have board games and chargers at each bar seat which is nice. Coffee is average. The place is run by teenagers that were working hard but they were not being managed properly. Took about 20 min to get our drinks from order to receiving.
