I've gotten the same drink at many other places and no one comes close to this price. They have a small menu for food but so far everything I've tried has been very good. The coziest work cafe in the East Bay Area! Came on Sunday morning and they were busy - people kept coming in and out getting coffee. They have good options for both coffee drinkers and non-coffee drinkers. And they have great selection of pastries and sweets, breakfast sandwiches and toast! Nutella & strawberry latte - it is their February special drink and it was really yummy! As someone who does not drink coffee, I really enjoyed how the latte is not tooo strong, and the sweetness was just enough. And it is so pretty! Burrata toast - this is delicious too especially if you love tomatoes! Small cafe tucked away on 84! They have a nice spacious interior with some local goods for sale as well. We enjoyed our sandwiches (the blat and club grounded). The sandwich was a little thin, but tasty overall. The milk bread really made the sandwich, it was spectacular! It had a lovely creamy flavor and was very gentle and fluffy to bite into. Nicely toasted. The bacon was flavorful, with multiple pieces. The chicken was pretty thin, about 1 piece. The lattes (honey lavender latte and white chocolate mocha latte) were just ok, not much to write about. The honey lavender tasted a bit off for me. Hidden gem! Grounded Coffee just opened up near our house - right off the 84. Such good coffee, dangerously close! Lol We stopped by this morning for coffee and breakfast and it was delicious! We ordered the iced s'mores latte and hot lavender latte and both were great. The s'mores latte was borderline life changing. Not too sweet, with the right amount of coffee and flavor. We ordered the salmon croissant and bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and they were great. My husband's croissant was savory and he really liked it. The egg sandwich has a slightly spicy/tangy sauce which was really tasty and kicked it up a notch. If you don't prefer spicy food in the morning, you can ask to omit it. Lastly the service is amazing! We got to meet the owners and they're great folks. Our barista, Kate, makes great drinks and she's very sweet. While I usually take my drinks to go, I can tell it would be a cozy spot to read or work (they have SO many chargers to borrow). This was such an unexpectedly lovely stop on our road trip. The good coffee and sweet people really brightened our day. Everyone is so friendly and seems happy to be there. They made us feel actively welcome, which is a breath of fresh air from so many coffee shops where the baristas seem annoyed. Looks family owned too! Coffee and pastry were both good. Between all of us we tried a mocha and two kinds of lattes and enjoyed them all. The danish I had was also lovely, and I believe they get them from a local bakery. Prices were standard coffee shop prices. It feels so expensive to go get coffee these days but it felt worth it to get a good quality product and support a nice local business. A hidden gem! I have been on the hunt for a good coffee spot in the Livermore area and this spot is sooooo good! It is tucked away in a plaza right off of the Airway/Isabel exit. I came in and the staff were so welcoming. I decided to try one of their April specials - mint mojito cold brew and added cold foam. 10/10 the best cold brew I have had. I absolutely love Grounded - Livermore. The owner, the baristas, and the amazing coffee and food they have is unmatched. I come here pretty much everyday and I wouldn't have it any other way. The staff is super sweet and take the time to remember people's names and orders, which shows a lot about how much they care about their customers. I love it here! I love coming to get a nice latte (highly recommend the brown sugar vanilla latte with brown sugar cold foam!) and getting some work done in their ambient cafe. The decor is incredible and they have many seats available for both getting work done and just chit-chatting.
