I asked Simon Wallace to check my foundation due some exterior cracks in the masonry. It had settled almost an inch over nearly twenty years of exposure on the steep sloping terrain. Eight piers stabilized the footers and a recent check showed excellent results after nine months of extreme weather conditions. This is a great relief!

The foundation continues to shift leading to cracks inside and outside that thousands of dollars in repairs every few years years. They don't understand how clay soil works and their warranty is useless because it doesn't cover the cost of cosmetic repairs as a result of their shoddy work. If they perform any warranty work, you're still on the hook for thousands in cosmetic repairs. Ask them if their foundation repair work also requires that you add a French drain. You don't have to take my word for it. To protect yourself, ask them to put the items below in the written contact. They will refuse. 1. They are responsible for repairing any cosmetic damage that results from any flaws in their foundation work. 2. They are responsible for repairing the interior floor if they have to repair an interior beam. 3. They guarantee that the foundation work keeps the foundation from moving up, down or horizontally. (Clay soil expands and contracts, so you don't want the foundation moving) 4. Guarantee that their beams won't angle due to soil shift Any company that knows their work is good will stand by it and have a robust warranty. Quality Foundation Repair's warranty is bare bones with exceptions for virtually everything.

When contractors gave…read moreus estimates to repair it a 3rd time, they told us there would be no warranty on their work, because it was likely that frame movement resulted in the cracking... and that the root cause could be a foundation problem. They suggested we have it looked at. I spent some time looking at reviews of foundation companies, and settled on Bats. When I called, I was asked a few questions about my issue, and an appointment time was set with Calvin Burnett for about a week later. Calvin called ahead because he was running early the day of the appointment. He spent over an hour inspecting our home inside and out. He took precise measurements from a high point on our floor, and at points throughout our home. When he was done, he explained what he found, which was that the foundation measurements were within specification. He sent a report including a map of our home with the measurements later that same day. There was no charge for this, and Bats will keep the data in their records for comparison if the need arises in the future. Both the person I spoke with over the phone and Calvin were professional and helpful. There was no obligation or charge for the excellent service we received. I highly recommend this business for their honesty and professionalism.

Rudy with Hercules came out, took measurements of my foundation levels and found that my foundation had cracked in half. He explained what would be done and they gave me a fair deal. They had 8 guys come out and repaired my foundation in two days. The guys worked long hours to get it done right. Did lots of work and cleaned it up and had it back to normal before they left in two days. Great explanations of their work before and afterwards. Rudy was great and kept up with me while it was being done! Would definitely recommend them for Foundation repair! 5 stars!

On the fifth day of this three to four day job, they finally were able to almost finish the job late into the evening, resulting in me not being able to have the plumber there early to fix a pipe that they busted. ($400.00 extra). The last member of the contracted team said he would wait for the plumber to finish and he would get the hole buried. As it was already getting dark, he decided to head home and said to have the foreman call him tomorrow and he would come back out to bury the hole. I contacted the supervisor on Saturday and told him that all that was left was a large crack in the driveway that needed to be filled in and the large hole left by the crew. He said that the hole was not his problem and it needs to be filled in by the plumber and he would do nothing about the crack. It has now been over a week and I still have a large hole in the front yard and a pretty significant crack in the driveway. If you want excuses and apologies than this is definitely the company to use. If you want a professional job than I would suggest another company.

I first worked with All In One Foundation Repair in 1998 when I moved into my house. At that time…read morewe needed piers put around the back of the garage because it had settled. This 40-year-old house also has a crack on the side of the wall. I've often contemplated what it would take to close up that crack and fix a couple of doors that seasonally stick when we are in drought conditions. I called All in One with the intention of paying for some piers to be put around the other side of the house. I had such a good experience the first time that I reached out to All in One again. The company is under new ownership and Robert still keeps up with the previous owner JJ and has the same ethics. Robert came out, took all the appropriate measurements. After comparing these new measurements to the measurements from 20 years ago we determined that there had been no additional settling. Robert agreed he could do the project but didn't think it was necessary from a structural perspective. Cosmetically, we could potentially make the crack a little smaller and keep a couple of doors from sticking every year, but he said no reason for me to spend the money. He also took the time to show me how to fix the doors that were sticking because they had such little room, less than a 16th of an inch in one case, that any flexing the foundation would've caused them to stick. So here I am, a guy ready to pay for a project. All in One comes out and rather than try to sell me a project they give me great advice. Your house has not changed position in 20 years. Don't waste the money but do these things. How often does that happen? I highly recommend these guys they're honest and they have integrity.
