I eventually got numbers but had to call multiple times to follow up. The third company was solid and came back with their price for the job. When I reached out to Larry, however, the responsiveness was unequaled. Not only did he answer on the first call, he arranged to meet me at my house later that same day. He then delivered a quote by the next morning that was competitive (the quotes all ranged from $17K to 20K) and we agreed to a start date and a targeted end-date. Throughout the project Larry and his team were completely professional and Larry remained very easy to reach. We made a couple of changes to the project as well and Larry took it all in stride and still delivered (in spite of several rain days) on-time with no price changes. Before reaching out to Quality Foundation, we had another Foundation company came over to check if our house had a foundation issue or not. We had seen many cracks on the foundation around the house, so we had some concerns. The foundation company, who came over, did the measurements many corners of the house and told us that we needed to have our foundation fixed asap. An estimate is roughly $30,000. Since it was a big money, we needed a second opinion. We did some research and decided to call Quality Foundation. It was one of the best decision in our life. Milton asked me some questions over the phone and from my answers, he confirmed that our house had no any foundation issue at all. He was polite, very professional and knowledgeable. This is the company that you can 100% trust. They don't try to scam you in order to get your big money from fixing something that in fact was unnecessary. Red flags ignored. Ended up with footing for masonry wall that was 9 inches out of level, sloppy,…read moreand inadequate to safely support the load. Cost me dearly. Read on for details. I called Todd to build a cement block wall based on a recommendation from a neighbor. He was responsive at first and started quickly, but to my detriment I ignored a few red flags, including dodging my direct question before signing about the footing depth by telling me to read the testimonials on the website. I don't think Todd has ever done masonry. He seems to be a shrewd business person who connects customers to subcontractors without holding them to any uniform standard. The footing for this 57-foot long, 8-foot high wall was excavated and poured in a single day. It was 9 inches (yes, 9!!) out of level, not stepped but following the grade of the lot, and sloppy. When I confronted, Todd referred me to the heads of the crew. With some language barriers, they described only minor adjustments to "level" each block. They must have planned to lay them in snaky courses, either hoping the stucco would hide their sloppy work or not even having that much of a plan. Keep in mind we are talking about isometric, rectangular cement block, not natural stone. Furthermore, the footing was only 12 inches wide and went about 11 inches below grade to support a straight, heavy, 8-foot tall wall. I believe that I prevented a catastrophic failure down the road by cancelling the whole project. I'm out $6600 for the footing alone, as that was the best offer I got from Todd to cancel the whole thing. Now have a cedar fence where my sound wall was intended to go, after paying to core into the footing to set posts. To his credit, Todd did offer to demo the footing and start over. I was afraid to go forward with that approach for a host of reasons. It was going to be disruptive, damaging to my property, and time-consuming, all to the end of letting the same crew that screwed it up in the first place have another go at it. Sometimes you just have to suck up the sunk cost and move on. My biggest mistake by far on this project was hiring Austin Stucco and Masonry. I took a video of the footing against a level line, but Yelp is no longer allowing videos, so these snapshots are taken from the video and are not as clear as they would be otherwise.

Be Aware (edited 8.17.26)…read more My experience: I was given a strong sales pitch, but then there was no communication after the contract was signed about what to expect/how to prepare. The owner said the work would take half a day. The work actually took two full days. I would've been stuck inside my garage. Had a friend who had had foundation work done not told me to park on the street. The workers who showed up spoke Spanish only; no one showed up to communicate between customer and employees in case of questions/concerns. The workers laid out tarps to collect dirt, dug up and replanted landscaping, and seemed to work hard every moment of both days. I would love to know how much they were paid from the $6k I was charged. I provided snacks, drinks, and lunch the first day and ended up with a broken cooler. I managed to fix the cooler, so no harm, no foul. The workers never left the property the first day until they left to go home. If they used the restroom, they did it in the holes they dug and on my neighbor's (property camera to prove). The owner initially seemed unconcerned and referred to using the restroom on my neighbor's property as being cultural. He seemed more concerned about them going to the restroom in the holes, but not the illegal trespassing on my neighbor's property. Jackhammering cracked the front walkway the width of the walkway. I was assured I would be happy with the concrete patches after foundation work, but I am not. Additionally, in my opinion, the front walkway was not backfilled properly and it has sunk down far more than it already was resulting in a significant, dangerous slope. LS says it was like that before the foundation work, but we can agree to disagree. While the front walkway was somewhat slanted, the 30" cavity under the walkway did not exist before the foundation work. LS says otherwise and again we can agree to disagree. The plumber sent out by LS to do a static line/leak test performed the test incorrectly and the plumber lied. He used the sewer clean out in the front yard and also said there was pipe separation. That same plumber came back on a different day and said he had a better camera, but when he found out I had booked a different plumber to come out he left immediately without using the camera and doing a second leak test like he said he would. I hired my own honest plumber. He pulled a toilet from the highest point in the home for the leak test (which passed) and then showed me with a high resolution camera that there were no breaks or separated pipes. Had I listened to the plumber LS sent out I would likely have spent at least $20k in unnecessary work. I STRONGLY recommend anyone having foundation work done to hire their OWN PLUMBER for a leak test. I would not sign a contract requiring you to use a plumbing company that the foundation company requires you to use!! In fairness, LS did not require me to use their plumbing company for the warranty, but that company makes LS look shady so hopefully either that company performs leak tests correctly now or they are no longer used by LS. I contacted the engineer LS hired about inspecting the work on my property and they could not/would not provide any proof that they had been to the property. When I told them no one aside from LS employees showed up on my cameras those two days the engineer ceased communication with me. It has been one year since foundation work was done. I have various reasons, that I am purposely keeping private, for waiting this long to post a review. I pray the work that was done holds like I was assured it would. (The rest of that comment was edited/deleted.) Lastly, I have been emailed a Cease and Desist letter from the attorney representing LS threatening to sue me if I do not take down my review. This year, the technician was Alvaro Fernandez (I think!). He also noted the wear on my sprinklers. But he went a step farther and looked for a cause and found it! It turns out that my sprinkler system did not have a thing that controls the water pressure and it was very high. He explained that the high pressure wears the sprinklers out. He put one (whatever it is called) on and got the pressure down. I sure do appreciate him finding the cause of my sprinklers wearing out.
