A month ago I contacted 3 different landscape companies tk help my Mom with her irrigation issues. We needed to replace some valves, introduce drip channels to certain areas and also do a complete irrigation modification so that all landscape was getting proper coverage. I could instantly tell by speak to the company owner that he was a high character gentlemen and honest person. He was able to do a walk thru the next day and knowing that it was for my elder mother, he took mote ownership to ensure that the outcome would be perfect and to her liking. He put a warranty on everything and said to call him back if anything was not to her standard. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and just how nice these guys were. Beyond happy with Growscapes!! Response time is same day if they are out on another job, they will call you back right away. Email is equally responsive. One thing that stood out to me was when Joe and co-worker came out, they did not make me feel rushed. They answered all my questions and were quite knowledgeable about plants and what would work. They listen to you but also have great suggestions as well. I did not ever fell 'upsold.' My job was by no means a big job but I felt just as important. The team that came out did everything that they said they would, they came on time, were friendly and efficient. They have to remove a huge bush out back and took care not to disturb the plants around it. I had 4 small trees planted and all of my soil was re-mulched. They even trimmed my lemon tree (not on the quote) as a friendly courtesy. It wasn't a lot but that is GOOD customer service. They went above and beyond and left everything neat and clean. It was so great to get everything done in one day without a bunch of back and forth, and not really knowing when they will show up. We were very impressed with Joe, he is very knowledgeable of his resources and ideas, and what it is like to work with an HOA. We were hesitant on deciding on which contractor we wanted go with. He even came out a second time (at our request) to give us a second estimate/quote when we had changes to our project. Joe was very easy and pleasant to work with. We had Growscapes complete the landscaping in our backyard following a pool installation project. Joe came out multiple times to discuss options with us. And as the pool project changed, Joe had even better ideas. They redid all our irrigation including dripline systems, planted privacy hedges and drought tolerant plants (which we love), removed some old citrus trees, decomposed granite walking paths, and built veggie boxes, too! We wanted to remove our grass and old plants in our front yard and replace with a drought tolerant ground cover and plants. Contacted Growscapes due to their 5 star rating. They quickly contacted us back and gave us an estimate right away. They quoted us about 3-4 week lead time on the project. But got a call a couple days later and because our yard is relatively small, they were able to book us in a couple days! They requested a 10% deposit and their payment process is simple, easy and secure. They showed up on time and completed the project in two days. They were neat, quick and professional. After completion there were a few plants located in an incorrect location. I contacted them and asked if the plants could be moved. They replied right away and came back out without question the very next morning and moved the plants in the rain! For our "trouble", they even laid down mulch for free which was not expected. Growscapes installed a dry creek bed on a slope in front of my home. Joe discussed the project in detail with me beforehand, and made sure we were both on the same page as to what needed to be done. This project involved digging a curving V-shaped trench and covering it with landscaping cloth, hauling in and placing a ton of river rocks, and choosing, hauling, and placing eight 12-inch boulders. On the day the dry creek bed was to be created and installed, Casildo and Victor arrived on time and had the job almost completely finished by late afternoon. They worked efficiently and with expertise. The company that supplied the boulders needed one more day to cut the last two boulders for my project. Casildo and Victor returned early the next morning to install the last two boulders and add finishing touches. The dry creek bed turned out beautifully--it is a work of art! Initial response was quick, they came out to do initial look and answered all the questions I had as well as provided suggestions. I am busy during the weekdays and have very little flexibility, but they were willing to accommodate in anyway such as Facetiming if needed.
