Since we're still relatively new to the area, we've been trying the different pet groomers in the area (it got too hard to drive to North Hollywood just for my dog to be groomed) and this one by far has been my favorite! We were helped by Laurie who was wonderful with my Maltese. She treated her real gently and was honest about what she was going to do with her and with how she would look like when done. My dog likes to roll around A LOT, so mats happen quite often with her. She was real honest about the length she was going to have to take her to, and then made sure that we kept her warm (asked if we had sweaters!) since she had gone real short. :) She was real sweet and had nothing but nice things to say about my dog, and that always makes a pet parent feel really good. She told me she had no problems handling her as she was a real "sweetheart." From the moment we walked in we were treated with honesty (always a plus) and with empathy towards my little scared and shaky dog... she calmed my fears and I walked out of there feeling real good. This is the very best! They can do BULLDOGS as well. They have a full understanding about the delicate care and handling required with a bulldog. They are probably the only groomer that understands the breed and there are a number of bulldogs that come in. Also we bring our Shih Tzu here and every time she is perfect! She hates baths at home and fights us every time yet is loving and sweet with the staff. She is never afraid to go in. The staff is very friendly and they are great with all dogs. Let keep this short and sweet I've been to 3 different local groomers in Murrieta have always had an issue with them doing as they please on my furbabies cut or even clipping him... We have been bringing Noble to this establishment now for over a year and we LOVE this place. We usually make an appointment a day or 2 in advanced. It's actually walking distance so we can easily walk over. The staff is very friendly, and Noble just loves all the ladies :) He gets groomed every 2 weeks and he is always squared away and smells great when he gets back! Been here once, I wanna' say...November '19. Everything went swimmingly; helpful reception, easy appointment scheduling, prompt work, nice grooming job, competitive pricing, etc. 5 stars. Great, right? Well, unfortunately, they get downgraded to 2 stars because the next time I tried to schedule an appointment (Jan. '20). Ring, ring, ring...ring, ring, ring...no answer. Call again 1/2 hour later, same thing. Call again, another 1/2 hour later, again, no answer. Fine, a little annoyed, but I leave a message. They don't call back until the end of the day, but now I'm busy and can't pick up. Tomorrow rolls around, call them again...no answer. Wait 15 min. Call again, again no answer. Getting really annoyed now so I call them constantly, every other minute now, a bunch of times, trying to annoy them into answering their phone. Each and every time, no answer. Looking at my phone log now, I've called them 11 times in the span of 2 days, each and every time, without an answer. That's absolutely horrid customer service! Kinda' hard to schedule appointments, guys, if you never pick up your phone! Guess they don't need the business. Thanks for nothing and I'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

It has been exactly one week now since our last horrific grooming experience and because the owner of the business hasn't cared much about what happened, I've decided I was going to share it in hopes that it doesn't happen to someone else's pet. Our Fletcher has been a client of grubby dogs for YEARS, and we had complete trust in what we thought was true professionalism. That trust was completely broken and shattered. Fletcher is 17 and a strong 17. He has never had any eye problems prior to this experience. When we picked him up last Saturday we thought it was strange that the owner herself asked if we put eye drops in his eyes. No one has ever told her or her staff that he has ever needed any drops. Fletcher is seen regularly by VCA vet. He has lab work done to ensure his 17 year old self is still in great condition. She said Fletcher had a rough day, but brushed it off saying he should be fine. I'll get to the point, Fletcher ended up loosing his right eye from a puncture to the eye itself. By the time we noticed something was really not right with his eye and got him to the vet, he had lost too much fluid in the eye to save it. Had we known that even the slightest accident may have happened whether the groomer was unsure or not we would have taken him straight to the vet to have him seen right away. Maybe the story would have ended up different. Fletcher is recovering just fine. He is a strong little man, but this shouldn't have happened under any circumstances. We love our animals like their our own kids and although he is doing well, we feel completely betrayed. read more

Extreme lack of customer service. I called to make an appointment for my dog and the employee that answered my call acted as though I was bothering her and hung up on me. I decided to give her the benefit of doubt and called back stating the call must have been dropped. She said she was speaking to a caller ahead of me but, I could hear her sigh as though she was being bothered by answering my call. After holding for 10 minutes someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. I call back and the phone was picked up and hung up. Obviously customer service is not a priority for this business because it was very obvious this girl had no training or business dealing with the public. If they allow their employees to be this rude to their customers there is no telling how they will treat my dog. I'm going elsewhere. read more

My little Charlie loves his time with Amy, his groomer. I've been taking Charlie, my almost 4 yr old pekapom, here since we first moved to the area about 3 years ago. Now we also take Maui who is our 7 month old Pom to Amy as well. She does such a great job with my pups, they like her a lot, and I can tell she spends a good amount of time with them, even stopping to give Charlie hugs, when he felt jealous that she is working on Maui. Took my Portuguese Water Dog here a week ago. I have never seen him look this good! He is so soft and his haircut looks just as good now as it did the day he came home (which we all know the coat usually seems not quite as nice a couple days later).
