We decided to check out this BBQ restaurant after seeing the high ratings across multiple review…read moreplatforms, so I'll admit our expectations were pretty high. It's located off the Strip in a somewhat hidden, out-of-the-way plaza, which gives it more of a local, low-key feel. One thing I noticed right away was that the menu posted in the lobby didn't have prices, but the menu behind the register did. They have a huge selection of food, so there are plenty of options to choose from. We ordered the burnt ends, brisket, mac and cheese, chicken sliders, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and cornbread. The brisket was unfortunately overcooked, although the burnt ends were good. The meatloaf was okay but definitely not the best I've had. The mac and cheese was good, and the mashed potatoes were actually really good. The chicken sliders were just okay, and the cornbread didn't really stand out. Overall, I was a little disappointed because the reviews had me expecting something exceptional. Everything was decent, but honestly, the meal was pretty mediocre for me. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really blew me away either. I'd still give it four stars because there were several good items, the menu has a lot of variety, and our overall experience was fine. However, based on the ratings, I definitely expected more.

The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and you can tell they put a lot of care into what they serve. Definitely don't pass up on their pastrami! One thing I really like is that they have daily specials that are available only until they sell out, so it's definitely worth checking what the special is when you go. It's a small spot with just a few tables outside for sit-down dining, which adds to its casual neighborhood feel. Nothing fancy or pretentious - just really good food that speaks for itself. What's even more impressive is that this isn't just a neighborhood spot for locals. Visitors actually seek this place out and will make the drive from the Las Vegas Strip just to eat here. I can see why! Definitely one of those places you're happy to discover, and even better when it happens to be right around the corner from home. We'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu and their daily specials!

The brisket was soft , but lacked flavor, the ribs: not a fan of the black pepper on top. Not flavorful at all. The Mac and cheese was just a no. It was off ,like it was just velveta and yes that makes me a snob cause I don't like fake cheese The corn muffins were decent. We ordered the meaty beans as well but they forgot to give them to us so no idea All in all. I would go back for the out of this world pastrami It's alittle hole in the wall kind of place. So make sure you don't drive by it.

This place has a reputation for being the best barbecue in town and the line out the door when you…read moreshow up, back that reputation 100% We've only gotten food from here a once and it's such a unique experience. You can tell it's family owned and operated which also makes it special. Truth be told, I'm not really a BBQ fan. I like smoked meat, but I don't like barbecue sauce and I don't particularly care for traditional barbecue side dishes. We picked some food up for a friend who lives in a rehab facility and likely will never leave. He had a craving for barbecue so we went to John Mull to pick up his favorite. We also got one combo to take home for ourselves and share. We got the pulled pork which I actually really enjoyed and my husband had the brisket which he said was delicious. I didn't have any o side dishes because like I said I don't particularly care for them, but my husband said the mac & cheese and mac salad were really good. This place is right up the road from us and I would use them for a catering event. I just can't say it's something I would go back to because I'm not a fan of BBQ, but I know a lot of other people are and it definitely put a smile on our friends face who had a craving for the best barbecue in town

The ribs basically fell off the bone with a perfect smoke flavor. Brisket was juicy and fatty. Can't beat it. The Mac n cheese was rich and decadent. The beans were so flavorful as well and had chunks of meat in them. The line was long, but moved quickly. People were super generous and pointed us over to some free waters they had. There was live music going in as well. All the seating is outdoors so if it's hot be prepared. They also have a market you can buy meats and sauces at to take with!
